Deep
Disturbing
Traumatizing
Coming Up: Real Life Vampires.
Enough Said, 'Murica
Gursimran Reehal ikr 😂😂
I think they were just referring to Goths.
Zero Spawn says the guy with lean as a profile picture. This is a tv show, not a real doctors office.
Technically, its body transplant.
Well, It’s technically both ig
It would be great of they would live stream the process..
the whole process it supposed to take 36 hours.
We no... Just... No
Maybe if they did it with an ape or monkey and the animal recovered and is fully functional then maybe I could see it...Question like the lady asked where would you get the body???Its almost like people would be waiting for people to die....So they could Preserve their organs or something..... This some freaky shit
Facts
in 1-2 years people will come back to this video
already half of what he is saying is wrong.
+Evilfisher2 Indeed.
They could make it successful. But what about the side effect ??? This could very well be the next lobotomy.
***** like i said, side effect, side effect. Half of people who got treatment of lobotomy came out alive and fine again... until they act differently, they still retain their memory but their emotions and thinking changed completely. The other half ? either didn't work and got worse in mentally illness or *they died*
Brock McClain But when we are talking about lobotomy you actually affecting the brain, you are making a measurable damaged there, on the brain, directly.
Here you wouldn't be affecting the brain, as far we know there would be any medical reason to this have any effect upon the cognitive capability of someone.
Also, when you make a lobotomy on someone.. the effects, the bad effects are noticed right away, not days, weeks after.
***** What about Neuron ? It will def effect in long term.
this reminds me of the time when they were going to do the first face transplant, they were skeptical at first and now it's been done several dozen times
A face is just skin and it still looks pretty bad after but a entire head is ridiculous. You can't put a spinal cord together.
You can't really compare two cases. Just because one worked, it doesn't mean other would work the same.
@@dopeitsjay58 it doesn't make sense tbh
Is God's creation, will never happen
I can feel a beheaded joke coming on, but I'm sure someone will get upset and lose their head over it!
This comment is underrated
Dammit it
lmao, i felt that
Lmao

If no one never try new things like Headtransplant, how can we to envolve to the next Step? Canavero wanna try, he have a voluntary Patient. Maybe, he lives only a few Days after Surgery, but we will newer know, if no one try.
Absurd Question. Why should I? Would imply my Death, if I donate my Body. But for Valeri it is a Chance for a "better" Life.
Well I kinda don't think it will work but there is this guy who will volunteer and I am rooting for him.
People thought surgery in general was unethical at first, they thought it would never work.
Like the doctor said. First, the animal test subject must survive before it can be done to humans. None of the animal test subject survive
As a 31 year neurosurgeon, microbiologist, and a board certified orthopedic spine specialist surgeon I can tell you In confidence that this can be done soon. Trust me.
Jk. I make youtube video on how to fix cars. Head transplant would be dope tho
This could save a lot of people's lives keep the science rolling
Head transplant is possible, in fact it has been happening for some time.
Take the case of Boris Johnson who successfully had his head removed for that of a pigs and no-one could tell the difference !!! :D
This comment is so funny.
Good on him.
There are people who need these kinds of surgeries to live.
One day this is going to be real and this doctors are so specific or sceptic.
It's 2017 now. Did he go through with the transplant and was it succsessful?
Or did he not go through it and pass? It really is an interesting topic.
His wife just conceive and that alone change he's mind.
Yes it will happen between 2050-2100
Congratulations Valerie; I would do the same if I was in your circumstance and have faith in modern medicine. These Doctors are amazing and would not harm anyone; the team is designed for positive results - Good Luck to you and we all look forward to your speedy recovery :) This is not a Ridiculous Procedure and most patients are Brain Dead 50% of the time.
You can not know if its possible it could be some day because we can already do so many other transplants it could be possible one day but its very unlikely in 2017
Except It is
The problem that was preventing this
Keeping the doner body alive/ doner who is brain dead
Keep brain healthy/ insert tube into jugular to supply blood and oxygen
Spine connection/ copy the case of the six month old who had to have reconective surgery
silver fairy33 but it's already done, and it is 2017, and it worked😊
2020 Here
it is still impossible and will remain like so forever
Yes ,but will the head and body survive more than 6 months? Or 1 hour? who knows?
these are real doctors?! hah, no wonder that's your president
Amir Asadi They're just a bunch of idiots who think they know stuff. They also spread pseudoscience.
Fuck off bitch
Amir Asadi America is doomed.
No wonder your prophet fucked kids
Amir Asadi just look at that pretty boy pretending to be a doctor not to mention the bitch in red
I love that the guy who does tests on animals is saying that a head transplant is unethical
Great point
Because there's a difference between animals and humans.
@@matshepomaseko3070 its still unethical bruh
it's been 8 years. no head transplant
I admire the doctors who are trying to do this. While no one truly knows how possible it is or isn't, and there are those people just throwing around the term "unethical" without any explanation, these doctors have already given a blueprint of their operation plan. I once admired the doctors on this show but instead of given very vague reason for why it isn't possible I wish they were trying to be innovative and throwing out possible ways to make it happen. But still there is a place for everyone in the scientific community. The naysayers and the achievers.
They cant
Why dont you sign up as the first testpatient? scared? or what are the other excuses?
I mean dio brando did it in 1800 or something like that. He just recovered little bit and he was fine.
Well his a vampire
I felt sorry for the patient, I just hope the operation success.....
This ladies don’t have a clue what they talking about and they don’t have vision on medicine
2020 december still waiting 🙏😁
lol at the fact that these are supposedly real doctors. how is medicine supposed to advance if you're not willing to explore the possibilities? sure the guy with the muscular atrophy might not survive but isn't the tiny chance that it might actually be successful enough to give it a go, especially if the patient is in it 100%???? i say do it, responsibly and legally obviously. if i were brain dead and had a healthy body, and if it were an option for organ donors, i would be completely okay with having my body used for a head transplant, i think science is awesome and the surgeons who perform these types of innovative procedures are the reason why the science in medicine is where it's at right now. and even if it doesn't work, there is always success in failure because you can study your mistakes and determine what could be done better for the next trial. shame on them for not seeing that.
jen g. Yea.. I do think the same..
I agree 100%!
The thing is, the chance of success is zero in this case.
If you are trying to experiment something, you have to use something as a basis, but there's nothing in medicine that can give people even a slight hope of this thing to work out, actualy there's just materials that prove that such a thing wouldn't be possible.
Every Theory comes from somewhere, but this man who was thinking about making the first head transplant just had nothing, that was a complete shot in the dark, and this surgery would 100% go wrong
Where will they get the body from?
Just watched a new video that says this man is now scheduled for this head transplant in dec 2017
I believe this will eventually happen and can’t wait to come back to this video in 20 years.
Doctors cannot even find a cure for people with spinal cord injury, how are they going to attach a new head to a donor's body?
I hope to see the Italian doctor watching this video , after his operation succeed , and laughing on you ; doctors LOOL
first and last question how he will fix spinalcard ???? then i will agree if they explain this?
this reminded of people saying we could never go to the moon. when will we realize nothing is impossible
Frankenstein exists lol
How leave after surgery Donor or patient
we will never know if we dont try
Even if he doesn't survive, we will still learn a lot
cutting head science , i mean cutting edge
the jugular vein people!! how can you survive after it being cut?!
Connecting it to a tube to supply blood and oxygen while the other bits get fixed
A six months old baby got his spine reconnected he now can walk though he'll have a brace for two years
+In Quest For Truth artificial blood circulation
i can not imagine someone seeing this and thinking this would be their answer to any sickness.
The read the HEADlines
XD
It probably won't work, but most of the medical advancements we see today people said the same.
I understand that is highly unlikely for this to work but at the same time we thought this with heart and limb transplants, so maybe this could work..
But I wonder, could they transplant a human head onto a robot? Like “ Sofia”? I remember a gruesome clip from I think Germany long ago that scientists kept a dogs head alive with artificial tubes
2017,i want to know if the transplant is successful??
Speaking of head transplants... 3:16
wht about blood . It should be match or not.
When will i able to send my mind to a robot body
I can't believe that last doctor said what she said, was she serious lol?
Back in the 60s when the first heart transplant was about to happen no one believed it would work..
Yes I have hope!
Still doesn't work that great.
So last year I had a women come into my class cause I go to Tchs for nursing & this women is one of the head people of the transplant area in Philadelphia and she told us its gonna taking 100s of doctors and nursings to do this but it is going to happen in December
There is a better chance of dinosaurs coming back from extinction or meeting aliens than a head transplant.
A better way would be first get a stone mask that’ll turn you into a vampire once you’ve become a vampire then get a hamon user to defeat and when you get defeated, then get your minions to order a coffin on the same ship with hamon user that defeated you is at. Next is to make everyone in the middle of the ocean zombies so that way the it can be easier to defeat the hamon user with your laser abilities once defeating the person then you can finally steal his body. The last step is to hide in a coffin in the middle of the ocean for 100 years then head over to Egypt to get yourself an arrow that’ll give you a time stopping robot spirit
While this procedure does seem impossible I can't listen to a show which has a heading stating 'real life vampires?'
How can you transplant the brain stem??how can you attach all the nucleus of cranial nerves??
That's what they are trying to figure out
It is actually scheduled for December 2017!
What happened in 2017?
@@mig-29 It didn't happen after all, I guess they cancelled to do more research or maybe they don't believe that it would succeed.
@@thenunujournals too bad they didn't did it,maybe next time.
Oke 2017 i still wait ...
I am a brain tumor savior and this is madness
Even medical transplants are a JoJo reference
Ah dio stealing jonathan’s body reference
my problem with the surgery is the spinal cord... if the donor spinal cord is thicker than that of the recipient how are they going to handle it.. people are really diverse and it's a given that the girth of the donor and recipient's spinal cords won't match unless they're identical twins
spinal cord regeneration... i wonder how they found the solution for that....
One of many ethical issues of the prospect of body transplant is that it is a cure to any terminal medical condition that affects the body and not the head. The discrepancy between numbers of recipiants and donors will be staggering. How to choose?
Dio: am I a joke to you?
The donor is generous!!
Similar people over the history : Ooh , are you mad , only birds can fly ... And after 72 year man was flying to the moon and back.
Poor guy don't look like he is gonna live much longer anyway. Might as well give it a whirl.
So do they have to remove his brain first? Bc then it would be that perosn in someone's else's body
It's not wise to be that certain about the chance of failing over a science advancement, let alone the hope..
Love how the giuy didnt actually answer where the body is coming from....
2021, did it ever happen?
The patient changed his mind because he fell in love with a woman, had a kid and didn’t want to risk dying.
Man, I doing my endocrinology master in france. So i dont know a lot about what this guy is going to do, I only know the basics. For what I know the experiments done in animals, show that chance of survival is way to little. But we will have to see, lets hope for the best.
Ohhhhh shit it's 2017 wtf is gannna happen I'm fucking excited to find out how long it took him to die
DANGER NOODLE 10 minutes
We will see guys! You'd be surprised.
Instantaneously
DANGER NOODLE the russian guy backed off, a chinese is doing it next year
Once the spine is severed from the brain stem YOU’RE DEAD
it's possible in some aspects like I believe that blood circulation, muscle reattachment etc. won't be a problem except for the spinal cord. The doctor performing this surgery stated that they will be using a special bio glue, I mean can't you test that out in animals first and if it does work why not use that glue to help spinal injury patients. help them walk again you know
it was tested on mice
No! It's not a special type of glue. It's PEG. We use that to fuse cells together.
But, a neuron, you see, it's far more complex, with all its wiring.
Gluing it together is not the challenging part, getting it to work is.
Especially with up to 10,000 other connections, replacing 1 neuron itself is hard.
What if they could clone your body and then do the head transplant? Functional immortality if you can keep the brain healthy
I am the first person after seeing brainbridge
Just a FYI The guy who volunteered backed out for good reason.
ok can i just switch my head with elon musk's head?
Wish they would transplant thyroid...lost mine in 2015.
now chinese surgeon made mice survive 7 hours
If you can't reverse peroulisis, how could it be possible to do a head transplant.
Imagine how mamy anti rejection pills you would need to take for the body not to attack the brain
114 dislikes.. You guys are slowing us down. We move on to save people lives and you disappointed us. Thank You.
We will never be able to transplant a head if we just sit around and not try.
Isn't the first one going to be December of 2017
Yes. Correct
laughing when they make it happen
Dio taking notes
Who's waiting for the surgery this 2017?
to the lady saying where do you even get a headless body lol people donate their bodies to science for procedures exactly like this
Thanks Dr. BS. i will rooting for this.
Tell me more about this "Healthy Donor"
It's just a matter of time before it will be possible if not routine, maybe were not there yet but we will be one day in the not to distant future. Just look how far we've already come!
Imagine how awkward it would be after the transplant..!! for your Family to live with a stranger !!😄
why they dont use the androbot
Godspeed
The cost of this procedure would get you to the moon and back.
yea thats what they said abouts hearts flipin heart the thing you need for every thing in you body
to be the body of a robot and itself into the first andriod or a cyborg. connect the artificial pumping heart so the brain keeps alive. like the first guy who has no heart maybe it work
