HE MET A LADY HAD A CHILD AND CALLED OFF THE SURGERY.
Ugh, disappointing… what a fraidy cat lol
Why are you screaming this at everyone!?
Don't be rude, take off your caps.
@@Alicia-gx5bolike to see you do it he didn’t want to risk his family
if he was terminally ill why does it matter if he's got a wife and children he was guaranteed to die soon so why focus on a long term goal
No one was being rude 😂@@joijuaire-darfler4614
He actually changed his mind 😢
Which he hopefully did turn it down because head transplants seem very risky, you're better off getting a torso transplant, followed by arm and leg transplants. His head works so they should build around that instead of cutting it off. Like you can legitimately do a Frankenstein on me if my arms and legs stop working
@@zacziggarothow would you do a torso transplant without cutting the head off? or do you mean transplanting the down half of the body?
@@blackforest_fairy by transferring the heart, lungs, ribcage etc just seems like they should try to do a spine transplant before going full-on head transplant. It doesn't make sense to transplant somebody who is just ahead and is paralyzed from the neck down, if we couldn't unparalyzed them why would they think that they could transplant a head and have it work?
The guy doesn't want to die basically
Is this a pun?
What benefit would this be? He would be paralyzed from the chin down, and live maybe a month. Thankfully he changed his mind and refused to go through with it.
So, it's a body transplant. Not a head transplant. I was wondering how that would work, since I figure the way your brain is made up makes you who you are. Getting a new head would change that. But he wants to keep his head and attach it to a healthy body. So it's a body transplant.
Doesn't matter, it's just a semantics. You're transferring and planting head to another body, so it might be called head transplant.
@@sidewinder2057 No, it's not. Because the part the patient receives is the part that's transplanted. He keeps his head and gets another body. If someone gets a face transplant, you wouldn't say the owner of the face gets a new body. It's a body transplant. The head is what makes the person.
@@plumdutchess yup you are correct
I was thinking the same thing 😂
that makes sense 😂 i guess it’s on how they see it
Piers would rather talk over the answers to his questions rather than let the person being interviewed answer the questions.
A good interviewer will let a person answer a question without interrupting the answer.
When she said “glue” i lost it 😂
This was 6 years ago and its still not been done
Bet it’s been tried in 🇨🇳
he didnt want to do it and backed out when he got a gf from the media attention
@@nuc13arfemales facepalms.
I mean let's be real you can't detach the head from a body and then detach a body from its head and then put those two things together and expect it to be alive. Pierce Morgan talks about the risks involved. There is no risk it definitely will not work and you will just be dead
Oh you better believe it has been done 😂
This was a ludicrous crock. Thankfully he backed out of it. It was not ever going to succeed. Maybe in the future, but we're not even close to this, to be frank.
Seriously there's no way you can detach ahead and then attach it to somebody else's body. As soon as you detach the head you will be dead
I wouldn't trust Dr. Nick Riveria either.

its crazy how the eyes are the mirror to the soul; at 3.17 you can clearly see his catalogue in the brain going through the motions to produce both answers after listening.. you can see the first and the second question really getting to his mind!! marvellous display of brain work from someone so handicapped and thus so balancing of the body disease
take a walk 😂
that's not how disabilities work. this person's disease affects his muscles, leaving his brain unaffected, meaning that it's no miracle he's able to process sentences and questions. handicapped is an ableist word, you should use disabled instead. people's intelligence doesn't "balance" their disability, people don't have to have something to "make up" for their disability. disabilities aren't even always a bad thing. they may make people unable to do certain things, but that doesn't mean they aren't able to lead a happy and fulfilling life.
It's "window to the soul" because someone else is looking into you through the window in case you wanted to know. 👍
@@SanduTiTabeing disabled is never a good thing
@@lelisbet and why do you think that? sure, disabilities often give people many disadvantages, but many of those disadvantages would be fixed if society wasn't ableist. also, having many hardships in your life is much more likely to make you a better person than if you barely had any hardships. you could say being disabled is a good thing in that regard because it can make you more sympathetic to other people who are also struggling in some way.
I heard that he refuse bcoz he found a woman who love exactly who he is
Piers can stil get to the answers and potentially more if he was capable of rhe subtleties of effective communication. The only reason he's a television presenter of his genre isn't purely from seemingly not caring what people think. Interviewing this man, he seemed to be intellectually incapable of being to relate to him as his equal due to the very basic viewpoint of his questions.
if piers had a brain transplant no one would notice
Jacob Geller leads me here, I'm doomed with the dread of existensial crisis
How are you now? Recurring existential thoughts?
Bro, I'm an atheist, I feel you. It's easy to forget about about the impending doom awaiting us all through the mundaneness of everyday life. My best advice is to stay safe and fill your life with as much experiences and love as you can so that when your life does end, you can spend your final moments looking back with happiness and surrounded by loved ones. If it happens quickly then hey, who cares, you won't know you're not alive! I'm here if you wanna talk through this existential crisis.
I wish the very best for you Sir! (in whatever you do)
To all the recent commenters, what made you come to this video now? My brother and I were talking about technology fixing glaucoma and how advanced technology is now in days.
Idk about others but for me it just popped up in my feed. UA-cam's algorithm is just weird.
i thought if the personality and conscience will be the same after you swap your brain into another body. my question didnt get answered and now i have even more questions...
i was reading online about nano bot technology and how some futurist scientists predictions are all comming true lol
A dream i had
i mean the way they explained it it seems totally possible. pretty neat
yeah because you know nothing about medicine. its 6 yrs later and no one not even this guy has had a transplant of this type. you know why? because its total BS. no one would survive this
1000 percent not possible
Talk about scary before going under the knife. Will I wake up? Especially when your odds are way against success.
If they get new bodies, then it’s a body transplant. Not head transplant😮
the transplant was successful and now he is post malone.
Wow, amazing and unbelievable, if it will be successful, this patient will have a new life in a new healthy body. What a dangerous operation. This patient realizes that he either will live or die. As he is now he has a crippled body that is useless. I hope it will work out. Let him be the first. Good luck. He’s very brave for science.
Great
This video was done six years ago. Did the transplant work?
He rescinded, after finding love, getting married and having a child.
This sounds like Frankenstein level mad science ....
What a craziest thing I ever heard. It is impossible to happen actually. I was happy also to this man that he did change his decision not to go with that and learn to appreciate what God has given to him. In the near future, this creepy thing will be possible but 96% go through a lot of failures.
What happened? Did they go through with it? Can't find any updates.?
He canceled the surgery cause of having a miracle child in 2018
Thank you
This guy was gonna be real-life Dio
How can watch in 2024
Ok! Just listening to the disection what did you felt?
This is madness 😠 😳 😮
any update ? did the patient survived ?
The surgery never happened, after having talks with his girlfriend (wife now I think?) He was convinced that he didn't need the procedure to live a better life and opted out
Beyond finding love and getying married, they apparently also started a family.
Seven years on, did he survived the head transplant? I think was unlikely or we will be seeing him on news medias.
So how did it go?
Very interested too see what the outcome of this was or if it ever happened? Failed or success? Judging by there being no future upload after 7years im assuming things didn’t go to plan?
@johnnylego807 He cancelled it.

No head transplant has yet been performed on a person, Finally, managing the nervous systems in both the body and the head is essential, in several ways
The autonomic nervous system controls essential functions like breathing and the heart beating and is governed largely by the brain stem; if the recipient body's head is removed this can no longer function
Only Aliens can do this operation, it’s impossible for humans. Aliens have the technology.
Fused together with a special type of glue.... obviously gorilla clue
he can have my head his welcome to it
Wow
So did it work?
He changed his mind after finding love, getting married and starting a family.
Was the surgery a success, how's the patient doing today?

it never happened as he passed away before the attempt.
@@JayzBeerz Oh. Rest in peace to the man.

No. They accidentally sewed another head onto his.
im wondering whos head he has and i wonder if he has that guys thoughts
He had his own head on a new body that was the plan but never happened.
I gather this was originally screened on April 1st.. !!!
This was years ago. Any news?
@highcommittee He changed his mind about the transplant. Not chickening out, but because he met and married someone, and they had a baby, which they consider a miracle. He didn't want to have to leave them for the long period of time it would take to undertake and recover from the operation.
I guess he no longer has "nothing to lose" as Piers Morgan puts it.
I found all this by googling it. They don't allow links on UA-cam comments anymore or I would link you.
He talked it over with his partner and opted out believing he would rather live disabled then die to the surgery
Unless modern medicine has actually found a way to fix paraplegics too, there is no way this could actually work.
sounds expensive
Well i head he canceled the head transplant after his wife gave birth
Have they done it already?
Head transplants that's death thank God for life.
Playing God is never a good thing. They are taking transplant past what is moral and ethical now.
Now? They've been experimenting with those kinds of transplants for decades. On animals. Or that doesn't count as immoral and unethical?
Lol there is nothing wrong done even god would have approved this
Il y a 7 ans , est ce realisé ?
He declined. Got married and has a family now
That's pretty complex
He got a gf and cancelled the procedure
Actually, they've already married and had a child.

@@Hustlery i meant as in this video is years old and everyone is here lol

Have they forgot the soul ?
So did he make it?
According to those who out in the time to further research it, he didn't go through with it. He had a realization that him being with his family was something he should be for rather than risk his life for something that won't make thing better for anyone but himself.
A shame, but it's his decision, and one made out of love.
Actually, he found love, got married and started his own family.
I have a question how can he remember his memory because that is another brain
HAHAHA😂😂

Irreversible damage.
I don't believe this. Nerves are not attached. That's impossible as I know. There must be some misinterpretation.
Thats why it never happened, as I know
That's a whole lot of nerves, veins, spinal cord etc. To complex smh
Yoo post Malone
God f*cked up the doctor's chance to play "god" bringing in a woman-the literal definition for 'love conquers all'
Eve took over Adam
In Russia, head attaches you.
I’m all for helping ppl living better lives through transplants, organs, body parts, and so forth, but, a head transplant seems impossible. Many of these more complicated transplants fail because of the amount of massive blood loss during surgery. Blood transfusions don’t have time to clot. Might as well try to just switch brains.
Typo: I’m all for helping ppl live better lives …
So what happened with this?
Fake propaganda! Finally they performed the operation on dead body in China, that's what I remember.
He canceled the surgery due to having a child. He considered it a miracle. Google his name.
