I assume Might be due to such reasons our ancestral forefathers were much more healthier than today's predessesors ...I myself got benefitted by using this fasting methods which resulted to decrease the readings of my High BP .Now it's normal .... Sir I am a 74 years diabetic (Hb1ac 7.1), hypertensive ( with BP ranging from 140-90-with Telemistran tablet 40 mg) and recently diagnosed with Glacoma)
Sometimes my sugar level drops to below 70md/dl. .
In such a situation I generally take 2 spoons of pure sugar .
Am I doing correct . If not Pl advise what I should do?

Which oil/fat is better ghee,coconut oil or palm oil, or seed oils/vegetable oils??
Zero Oil lifestly is not Zero oil on a strictly daily basis ..
When we consume chicken, fish and eggs , it has inherent oil in it and there is no need to put oil in it .
That way it easier on stomach as well....I find oil makes the food more difficult to digest and makes it heavy.
Somehow I feel inherent oil in Chicken,fish and eggs are sufficient for our body and we get the essential protein as well.
Even you can make zero oil Omlette and it tastes equally good . Baked and roasted fish has good enough of Omega 3 oil which is good for our body .
Now comes vegetarian , at times we put some Little Ghee( not too much) in Dals, pulses and cooked veggies to enhance the flavour and thats enough of oil .....NO NEED TO USE EXTRA OIL FOR COOKING . Using Mustard seeds for tempering ...Mustard seeds has oil in it and it gives awesome flavour in Dal, Upma , Poha.
So No external oil is used.
We consume various kinds of nuts which has essential oil in it.
No oil in mixed in salad which we consume with almost every meal
Some cheat day in a Week (only once) , we can enjoy Puri/sabzi/chicken/ghugni , which is fried in oil ...but thats only once in a week .
So you see we followed ZERO OIL FROM EXTERNAL SOURCES , yet we consumed a bit of oil for the fat soluble nutrients to be in our body .
Thats what is called Zero Oil lifestyle....and this is what I find good for me.

What you are defining is healthy eating, even I practice the same. I guess you have not seen the viral video of some lady "frying" poories in water!!! Also some fake doctors advising against milk and nuts as they contain oil.
