    I would love to see a video of you making all that color powder in your bathroom… it would be helpful to me to see the whole process and every detail of what I’m really getting myself signed up for and into. Thanks so much you look like “the bomb, incarnate” today.

    Hey Chickie, i have a favor to ask. do you think you can start to write in the description how many jars/bottlesd, cups, whatever your listed recipe made? that way we can divide or double the mix and will know what we will end up with. thanx

    Your dog is SO cute! Is he/she a Westie? Maltese? Maltipoo? In my head I immediately thought... "No way! She even has the dog I've been wanting!" Small breed, white, & fluffy! Our dog died and we've been learning about the breeds and looking. When we're ready we will get a new one. :) Thank you for sharing your inspirations, successes, and learning opportunities!😊

      Hey Malinda. I'm pretty sure she's a maltipoo because her hair isn't straight. I got my first maltipoo, "Beyonka", when I was 18. Then my dad, stepmom, cousins, etc. got them after they saw her (I never went anywhere without her). They're amazing companions, plus, they don't shed! "Oprah" [seen in video] was my dad's dog. I got her when my dad passed away 10 years ago. The ONLY thing is that maltipoos like to tear up paper. Other than that I think they're the perfect dog.

    Hello Dora, thank you for this important information. I learned a lot from you. I am following you from Morocco 🇲🇦 I do not speak English, but I am trying. I hope you can provide us with a recipe for effervescent balls weighing a 1k if that is not a problem for you. Thank you ❤️🥰💐

    Well, no sooner do I watch this video do I decide to bloom some dyes for the very first time, and I stain my bathroom sink! We just moved here a month ago and now there was a big pink stain. I tried every cleaning product I had on hand and nothing budged. I got Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser and it came up easy with just a paper towel! I now won't do anything coloring related without having that on hand.

    I have a older home. Everything stains the counters. Bar keepers friend powder into a paste works on these old countertops. 😂

    Try using CLR to remove the stains, it helped remove the colorants in my son's powders he mixes into his bottled waters, and I have white granite countertops. Spray or apply and leave on for a least 10 mins. then rinse and wipe clean.

    Hey Dora, have you ever used a dehydrator on your bath bombs or salts? Any tips?

    So, can anyone tell me if there actually is a red bath bomb colorant that does not leave a ring or a stain on your tub, sink, or person? We've tried everything and have not been successful. Any proven dying products out there we need to try? Thank you!!!

      It's always a risk that you take when you make really colorful bath bombs. But in my personal experience (which is considerable), it's never stained. Plus, I've given bath bombs to family, friends, acquaintances, neighbors, teachers, etc. and never once has anyone ever said anything about staining.

    Doesn't polysorbate 80 help to prevent stains?

    • @kasie680
      @kasie680 Рік тому +2

      I’m not sure if it prevents stains so much but it disperses dyes and oil into the water for easier rinse off

    • @CreativeBathLab

      Great question. In the video I am referring to dyes, which are water soluble. Polysorabate 80 does NOT prevent stains. It prevents messes (like the dreaded ring around the tub) from colorants that aren't water soluble, like micas and lakes.

    • @CreativeBathLab

      Correct!

      @donnanaquin9901 Рік тому

      How about the color powders you create? Are they less likely to stain than micas?

      Yes.. polysorbate 80 will PREVENT staining....

    I wonder if activated charcoal would help remove stains. Straight powder or mixed into a paste or something.

    I have been wanting to make a black bath bomb but have been hesitant because of fear of tubby staining. Does poly 80 really prevent staining?
