+Charles harris do you remember what heads you were running and the port sizes? I'm a little leery that they'll fit. My whole front end is stock. No motor plate and I still have the factory k member for the time being. I have the same problem you did. Long tubes are dragging everywhere it's not flat. I want to just build a set, but I'm running out of time before race season. Still have a lot to do elsewhere.
The idea behind the fender outlet or forward facing header's were derived from the need to keep the floor pan cooler because of the Nitrous used by so many guys .. I know from my own experience that the floor gets so hot it's brutal during the hot summer months ....
NDRTHEPRINCE You definitely don’t follow drag racing much then. If it’s a fox body that is strictly a race car, probably 7-8 times out of 10 it will be a Chevy engine in it.

where did you get the headers
I had them made at a fab shop. I sold the car and still have the headers. They can be for sale if u want them

No, it is not odd seeing foxbody with a Ford motor. What else is supposed to go in a fox? Definitely not a Chevy!
