My wife and I have been watching van wives for almost a year and really enjoyed the episodes where you joined them. So happy to see you are starting your own adventure. Your personality is infectious as someone else has said here. Your film style and narration is fantastic and we have subscribed and look forward to your series and watching your subscription count climb. If you ever need a helping hand on a weekend let me know and I would love to help a fellow Ontarian.
George thank-you so much to this, I really appreciate your kind words and encouragement. I'm really excited for this adventure and your support here means a lot. I hope to see you next week 💛
Hi from Ontario. You’re going to do great. Your film making skills are already exceptional. Can’t wait to follow your journey from the beginning. I also subscribe to fellow Canadians the Vanwives, Tyler and Todd and Eamon and Bec.
Heck I'm 71 and I'm looking for a nice van. I had one back in the '60s, a Ford Econoline that just kept on going. I'm kind of partial to Ford because their quality is pretty high and there are so many Ford dealerships across the country. I'm thinking about buying a campground membership. Actually, this will be the fourth time in my life when I've totally picked up and hit the road. The northern US and southern Canada have some amazing little towns that are just beautiful.
Hi Sarah. You're absolutely right. I'm grateful to be able to take this leap, and knowing that I have the opportunity is exactly why now is the right time. See you next week!
Hi Colin the photograph & print you created for Jaz & Crystal is stunning, romantic & really captures their beautiful relationship & love for each other. Im really looking forward to witnessing your build & I look forward to the films/stories you get to tell on your journeys. I wish you all the best in your endeavors. Keep in touch with the Van wives. They have amazing skills & knowledge as Im sure you know & if they dont know something they know how to find someone who does. I dont think you can go wrong with those two behind you. Best wishes from the UK
The fact it's silver makes a change. Lot of work ahead clearing it out. Hope you can pass on the lift so someone gets use out of it. Don't forget to clean, treat and seal the underside and cavities, easier to do it know. Good luck 👍
Came here straight after watching Jaz and Crystal’s video… your cinematography skills from their Sedona video made me come back for more! Excited to follow along on the van build!
Elena thankyou so much! I appreciate you taking the time to watch. It's a bit different when you have to shoot video of yourself, but I'm trying my best! 😇💛
So the Vanwives sent me here, too. After a few minutes I already like this guy. And he's already a film maker. This is going to be fun. I follow, Tyler & Todd and Eamon & Bec, too. What is it with these Canadians? They are so much more interesting. If you want some van build ideas I recommend Humble Road. He's a very funny, very creative van builder who used to do photography and film making before he retired. He is definitely worth binging before you get too deep into your build. His motto is: there are no problems, only solutions. Having Andrew help you may be your second big decision. Having a pull-out drawer(s) for your garage is a great idea. On a separate topic would you talk about printing your pictures? How did you print that wonderful photo of Crystal &Jazz? I have taken some very nice pictures but I haven't printed them yet. I have a 17x11 printer but the ink dried out because I don't use it very often. Woodworking is my primary hobby. You may want to figure out how you can print your (and others' ?) pictures while traveling in your van.
Thank-you for taking the time Blake! I'll be sure to check out humble road, thank-you for the suggestion! In terms of printing there are lots of options out there! In Canada there is a budget option called Blacks which is what I chose for Jaz and Crystal! Another great option would be a local speciality camera store, they often have high end printers! Cheers 😊
Your personality is infectious! I follow Vanwives and now following you! So excited to you kick off your van build / van life journey!! Love from San Francisco Ca 😃❤️

For rusty bolt removal, try PB BLASTER. Spray a generous amount on the tread side of the bolt and let stand overnight. Spray again and wait a few hours..it should break free WITHOUT HEATING THE NUT.
I love how there’s a community of UA-cam van lifers. And so many of you, all are friends, and cross post. Really inspiring to me, a baby boomer, to get out there and follow your lead. Congratulations on starting your new journey. I know you say that you haven't vlogged before but your experience in other avenues is already coming through and it looks great. There is an ease that presents itself that made me as a watcher be instantly engaged. Thank you Colin
OMG! I bought a 2004 handicapped E350 Ford club wagon van super duty, but had to sell it after putting 9000 dollars into it it trying to get it back to life! I lost everything I paid for it and put into it, but I have to just look at it as it is only a van and money otherwise it really upsets me. It was the most perfect van for me inside out out. My whole point though is I had to get my mechanic to remove that handicapped ramp for me. It took them hours and it is so damn heavy that even trying to sell it afterwards was impossible, cause it was to heavy for me to take home and try to sell. So good luck with that ramp removal.
Colin I am so excited for this channel! I have been waiting for this ever since I saw you on the vanwives channel! I can’t wait to see the adventures you go on! Good luck with build and I can wait for the next episode! Be well!

See ya later new friend.

I'm nervous to remove it, but I know I'll get it somehow! Thanks for being here!
Came across you via the Lady’s. Love their journey and looking forward to yours. All the Best!!! Love the framed pic. Eyes got a little dewy as well.

It's all about community over competition. We're all better together ☺️
