@@PerspectiveEnd Yeah. In the movie and later adaptations in g1 like The headmasters they're red. On artwork they're just like regular windows. I don't really know the reason why on screen the windows are red but in artwork they're normal.
1:45 Yes, any 3P/KO company can get shut down if they slap autobot/decepticon logo on their figures. You can fill in the blank crest with repro labels yourself if you’re bothered with it.
I know there are other KOers out there who put the Faction badges on, hell I have a MP Megatron I think may be a KO, and he's got the badge, and I have a friend who bought a bunch of the KO Datsun figures, and they all had the logo.
@@PerspectiveEnd I forgot those existed 👀 Straight up KO figures do come with the faction symbols but at least they don’t have a company name attached to it so HasTak would have a hard time to crackdown on those.
This guy's scale is kinda accurate to the toy and looks like the cartoon, and that's what masterpiece should be, a mix of the toy and the cartoon, largly the cartoon but also the toy (thus the hidden albino prime face), and have complex but somewhat simple transformations, MP-36 megatron is understandable because he turns into a gun, my only complaint is that the cab ain't an albino prime figure sepretely but then you could just buy a white MP-10
I don't know that I agree, I think if you want the old toy then a rerelease is what would serve you best. I think the MP should just be the best thing it can manage to be.
The object seems cool but then you remember that his elbows are at his biceps for some reason and I feel like this could be why the new 86 Magnus also does this as well as having clear windows when every person on this planet wouldve liked it more if the windows were opague.
Did you get The THF hyper magnum? It really cleans up the butt flap. Also, That little flap on the gun is so it can attach to the alt mode. On those two top beams, there are little ports where you can store the gun. It should match up with the ones on the purple gun right in the middle. It's like a dot and a dash. Flap up the little flap and it should go over that little connector part. There are videos of this. Look up THF-04 HYPER MAGNUM.
I kinda want to see a 3rd party company make deluxe and voyager sized masterpiece figures that scale with the current Wfc trilogy figures because I love the masterpiece wheeljack, prowl, and sideswipe molds and I want them to scale with my wfc figures that would be great and I would eat that right up
This is the 3rd review I've seen on this guy. I've only seen Lazy Eyebrow and Stop Motion Reviewer. (I'd check them out.) But i might get the KO, he looks fun! He'd be massive and just hilariously dwarf 98% of my collection. But is the Week of Magnus over?
Maybe. You'll just have to wait for Sunday's video to find out. And other people have mentioned the Lazy Eyebrow, but the Stop Motion reviewer is a new one people have yet to bring up.
are there any good KOs of Ultra Magnus in 6inch scale? Also if big = MP and small = Legends/core then what does medium =? I have been trying to figure out if there is a term for the 6inch scale that isn't called 6inch scale? holy crap, my newest long video broke 100 views for the first time then the same video got 200 views. This makes me really happy. :) catch'a next prime
I'm pretty sure that's just called Deluxe scale. As for the other question I can't say fore sure, I have not sample an array of Ultra Magnus KOs. And congratulations man, I'm real happy to hear that. I have no Idea how to predict which one's of your videos will get the views. Some of the super short ones kill, and now some of the long ones too. Here's hoping you can get some consistency out of that.
@@PerspectiveEnd really? Delux is the name of the scale? Man that is confusing. Never knew that so thank you. Yay I lvled up my transformers lexicon! :D thx mate, I am still grinning. It feels weird and good to know that over 200 people wanted to watch what I had to say. I can't even get all my friends and family to watch my videos but these 200 wanted to. I feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I like this feeling. lol
I got back into transformers last May. So my YT Home page kept recommending your videos around august-september I am not sure. But you were the first YT Channel that I watched who didn't seem like they were worshipping the throne of Hasbro. You tell it like it is and your channel got my attention because of that. O and my first purchase of a Transformer was Studio Series Mixmaster and Studio Series "Wheelbot" aka the upper torso of Studio Series Devastator. I have a weak spot for Devastator's and Tanks. now if Studio Series will only give me a Devastator Tank from the first Bayverse Movie. Then both of my favorites will be in one figure.
I like Bludgeon’s skull face a lot but the half face is still better than his painfully generic inner robot form on his original toy. Or that lazy Movie Wreckage repaint.
I just love his half face, it's nice and evil, creepy, and it says alot about him that he doesn't bother getting it fixed because he's too busy with other stuff.
My Collection is an Eclectic Mess, of what EVER strikes my fancy. And how will I surprise you with reviews you weren't expecting if you know everything that's in my collection.?
Before my opinions and stuff, Lazy Eyebrow reviewed him a while back and was, as far as i can tell, happy with it. And, yeah, no logos are basic with KOs. I have KO Soundwave, who has a little-bit less painted details (i really notice it only on laserbeak) and no logo on chest, but otherwise? It's perfect. Masterpieces were always out of my price range, so getting figure, which costs 200 bucks on BBTS (only store that ships to Czech Republic with decent shipping cost) and is currently sold out for only 40 dollars is no brainer.
Maybe Maybe not. I mean this is very successful at what it does They just need to tidy up the back pack, and give it more potability as well as refine the sculpting a bit, and this would be basically perfect. So unless they reinvent the wheel just to do it, it shouldn't get too unbearable.
He does not. I actually checked yesterday, because since I was posting the video and I just talked about it, I actually checked his channel because I wanted to finally see some reviews of it.
@@PerspectiveEnd Huh. I distinctly remember watching a review of this figure by him. Either I am completely misremembering who made the video, or it has been deleted.
It's possible, though I don't know why he would considering he's got videos from like a Decade ago still up, where he was filming with room light in a corner, against a window.
Perspectiveend if I'm not wrong he actually does have chest windows, but it's hard to tell in the show because of the low quality animation and them being red, the same color as his chest

I mean the CW isn't a Partsformer. But yeah, I'm happy to have both the Partsfroming Variant, and this one. That way I have the white Magnus who armors up, and the true Magnus who's just the dude he looks like he is.
Only real issue is that he can’t do Optimus Magnus
Well, that and his posing is awful
I don't have an Issue with that. I'm happy having my Optimus Magnuses, but I also like Having a Ultra Magnus who's just the dude he looks like he is, with out it being secretly another guy in armor.
And I just saw an old comment you made. Man you were my Fourth Subscriber. Thanks for sticking it out with me for so long.
@@PerspectiveEnd no problem dude, quite a lot more than 4 now lol
Yeah like what, only... 900 Times more.
@@PerspectiveEnd yeah lol, all this from seeing the Earthrise video on Reddit one day lmao
Looking back. He did have chest windows but they were red.
Was that in the show, cause I don't think they were like that in the movie?
@@PerspectiveEnd Yeah. In the movie and later adaptations in g1 like The headmasters they're red. On artwork they're just like regular windows. I don't really know the reason why on screen the windows are red but in artwork they're normal.
My guess it was just a creative decision to make the windows red because of the animation quality back then.
You're right, the vehicle mode is a.... masterpiece...
Were you doing something there, or was it what it looked like on it's face?
@@PerspectiveEnd ha I was doing something there!
5:27
The matrix kinda looks like it has been infected with something
It's the dead matrix.
the other expressions for him are on another level of epicness
I call them Yodeling face. And Yodeling face with Bug Eyes.
@@PerspectiveEnd I forgot those existed 👀
Straight up KO figures do come with the faction symbols but at least they don’t have a company name attached to it so HasTak would have a hard time to crackdown on those.
Looking back at the siege Magnus that thing has been out for a year maybe a bit over one and we still haven’t gotten a diaclone repaint of him.
I'm Sure Gen Selects will do one eventually.
Cool fisics class. Nice video :D
Fisics class?
I think the extra "Ugly guns" are a reference to some guns he used in a comic. Or some shit.
That's usually the answer.
The object seems cool but then you remember that his elbows are at his biceps for some reason and I feel like this could be why the new 86 Magnus also does this as well as having clear windows when every person on this planet wouldve liked it more if the windows were opague.
The Object?
Yeah opaque windows would have been better.
@@PerspectiveEnd it's too honkingly massive to say figure
The giant ultra Magnus gun looks like something from Doom
The BF1000000. It's so much more because it's like 10 times the size.
ULTRA MAGNUS, he's our hero, his weight is not even close to zero
He's a big truck so he's going to bring pollution up from Zero!
Have you seen the new 86 sharkticon? I have and it is prity bad looking.
It definitely has issues.
How many times are you going to say flap in this comment.
Anyways yes, that is the one I got.
@@PerspectiveEnd Oh damn, I did say flap a lot.
Awesome vid, as always.
Thank you very much, I try.
It's like you've never heard of Emgo316.
I'm not sure what you are referring to here, but I know of him. I just don't watch his videos.
@@PerspectiveEnd I'm referring to when you said no one has reviewed mp Magnus. I'm pretty sure he's reviewed everything under the sun.
There was a missed joke opportunity you could have said that "I can't deal with that now" in regards to Spike and Daniel inside of the alt mode lol.
I mean everyone makes that joke though.
I kinda want to see a 3rd party company make deluxe and voyager sized masterpiece figures that scale with the current Wfc trilogy figures because I love the masterpiece wheeljack, prowl, and sideswipe molds and I want them to scale with my wfc figures that would be great and I would eat that right up
There are some downscalers out there, I think a few of them have done MPs before.
@@PerspectiveEnd nice
This is the 3rd review I've seen on this guy. I've only seen Lazy Eyebrow and Stop Motion Reviewer. (I'd check them out.) But i might get the KO, he looks fun! He'd be massive and just hilariously dwarf 98% of my collection. But is the Week of Magnus over?
Maybe. You'll just have to wait for Sunday's video to find out. And other people have mentioned the Lazy Eyebrow, but the Stop Motion reviewer is a new one people have yet to bring up.
@@PerspectiveEnd He has less than 1k. He's a big fan of Magnus. He'd like the WEEK OF MAGNUS- Ok I should stop now XD

Didn't Emgo review this too?
I want to see you make a review of combiner wars Magnus
Need to get one first.

What are the official masterpiece figures that don’t feel as good in hand as this guy
MP Megatron, MP Tracks, and MP Grimlock.

are there any good KOs of Ultra Magnus in 6inch scale? Also if big = MP and small = Legends/core then what does medium =? I have been trying to figure out if there is a term for the 6inch scale that isn't called 6inch scale?
holy crap, my newest long video broke 100 views for the first time then the same video got 200 views. This makes me really happy. :)
catch'a next prime
I'm pretty sure that's just called Deluxe scale. As for the other question I can't say fore sure, I have not sample an array of Ultra Magnus KOs.
And congratulations man, I'm real happy to hear that. I have no Idea how to predict which one's of your videos will get the views. Some of the super short ones kill, and now some of the long ones too. Here's hoping you can get some consistency out of that.
@@PerspectiveEnd really? Delux is the name of the scale? Man that is confusing. Never knew that so thank you. Yay I lvled up my transformers lexicon! :D
thx mate, I am still grinning. It feels weird and good to know that over 200 people wanted to watch what I had to say. I can't even get all my friends and family to watch my videos but these 200 wanted to. I feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I like this feeling. lol
I know what you mean.
Hey I have a question. How did you find my videos in the first place?
I just love his half face, it's nice and evil, creepy, and it says alot about him that he doesn't bother getting it fixed because he's too busy with other stuff.
its crazy that the commander class is just straight up better in every way
That's what a Decade of advancement will do for ya.

That is a good point
Ngl
Before my opinions and stuff, Lazy Eyebrow reviewed him a while back and was, as far as i can tell, happy with it.
And, yeah, no logos are basic with KOs. I have KO Soundwave, who has a little-bit less painted details (i really notice it only on laserbeak) and no logo on chest, but otherwise? It's perfect. Masterpieces were always out of my price range, so getting figure, which costs 200 bucks on BBTS (only store that ships to Czech Republic with decent shipping cost) and is currently sold out for only 40 dollars is no brainer.
Is it the thf Sonic wave?
I've seen KOs that have the logos though. Hell, I have a Megatron I think might be a KO but I'm not sure, it does have the logo.
@@emmettmacklem1986 yep, it's him.
Can’t wait for the remake of this toy, if mp 44 is stupidly complex, magnus is gonna be hell
Maybe Maybe not. I mean this is very successful at what it does They just need to tidy up the back pack, and give it more potability as well as refine the sculpting a bit, and this would be basically perfect.
So unless they reinvent the wheel just to do it, it shouldn't get too unbearable.
Today I accidentally close the door on my shoelaces and tripped and fell
I hope you didn't get hurt.
@@PerspectiveEnd I fell onto my couchs armrest hitting my thigh and then hit the floor
The original doesn't come with a matrix.
I thought for sure it must have considering most of the pictures I saw of it had it featured with one.
I hate to be the type to make a comment on a 2 year old video lol, but what was this figure called and is it still available bc I might cop one myself
He big...he thick...I love it
One HUGE Chonkis.
I'm pretty sure Baltmatrix has a review of this figure from when it originally released, but that's the only review of it I know of.
I think The Lazy Eyebrow Reviewed it
In terms of MP, seems like you can still get all/most of the BW MP figures
What do you mean?
@@PerspectiveEnd what I mean is that they seem to still be in print
Perspectiveend if I'm not wrong he actually does have chest windows, but it's hard to tell in the show because of the low quality animation and them being red, the same color as his chest
In the movie you definitely couldn't see through them, though here is a flat spot about where they'd be.
@@PerspectiveEnd no they weren't see through but they did have the window shine
Another good as pie video I like chicken pie, pizza pie, pumpkin pie
And cheese cake.
So this is a high complement ÚwÙ
Pizza's not a Pie. You know how I know? Because it tastes good!
Something completely irrelevant to anything: what's your opinion on S.h.monsterarts?
Never handled one. They look good. But I can't say how good they are without messing around with them.
May I suggest you buy some? Anyone. If you're a Godzilla fan, you owe yourself one. They're THE best Godzilla figures you can buy. The only competition that S.h.monsterarts ever had was Neca and they lost the right to produce Godzilla figures!😂😂😂
I think this is the first time I watche a review and after it's done, I think to myself: "I want this now"
Really? Interesting. Cause this time I was like "You should probably only consider this if you already wanted one."
Are you going to make a what’s the best ultra magnus
Maybe... Who knows?
The reason the MP is such a unit is because the cab of the car mode is designed to scale with mp-10
That makes sense. I was also thinking that it was done to scale it to the G1 toy. Where an Optimus could fit in it.
The offisial one actial dosen't have the matrix
So the KO is better than the normal one even more so than I though already.
Where did you get this guy?
Ebay.
@@PerspectiveEnd Spoken like Bayverse Prime. Thanks!
Amazing review! I have a question for you. How would you feel if we got a Commander Class Ultra Magnus in the style of the MP?
I mean isn't that BASICALLY what the CW already was? I'd be down for one. Just not in the Beast Wars Line.
@@PerspectiveEnd Yeah, same with me! That and a Commander Class Optimus in the vein of Rodimus. I know it may not be for everyone, but I'd like to see a proper trailer

That is how I've pluralized that in the past, but I thought Ultra Magnuses sounded dumber, so I went with that because it's funny.

He's the only guy people are bringing up. Kind of proves the point if he's the only one people can think of.
5:20 open damn it open
Damn it my fingers are too fat to use the grooves, this is why I'm not the chose one!
For me the posing is a deal breaker. I do love how they got everything to work for the mass shifting and lack of parts forming. I just wish he had better posing. I could maybe talk myself into it if I went for a master piece shelf of the movie cast with Ultra Magnus standing like a giant behind / beside others.
Yeah. That posing is just a total deal breaker for a lot of people and as I said. I get it.
I simp too hard for Magnus to pass up something as great looking and feelin' as this.
6:29 kinda looks like Magnus is a attentive lover.
A come here finger makes him an attentive lover. I mean I get where you're going with it, but I think you might be scratchiness in. Just about as far as Ultra Magnus Stretched Hotrod with his giant fists. OHHHHHHHH!!!
@@PerspectiveEnd you’re right, it should be two fingers. And maybe making a vague drill shape/crossed fingers. But I’ve never seen an action figure that can do that. And frankly, I don’t want to, if it’s related to the topic at hand.
