Yeah, if Lego could blacklist people from being able to buy their sets, these kinds of people are the first I'd want to see gone. Especially since half of them are probably just scalpers in disguise, that's a common tactic of theirs.
They still use round stickers on round pieces. For example, the D&D set (one of my fav sets this year to my surprise) had a round pub sign with a sticker. I hate them because they are so much harder to get centered. Also, I disagree that this should have been a combo set. The combo sets are awful. Most of the time people only want one of the ships in them but they have to pay extra and get both. The recent Fang Fighter vs Tie Interceptor is a great example. I wanted the tie interceptor, but I had to pay $20-$30 more so they could include a terribly designed extra ship that I didn't want. Leave them separate.
Make Lego great again! This should be the new we want a 501st battle pack saying. It’s honestly so disappointing how much Lego has stopped caring and how much they’ve recessed since the golden age
this set needs heavy modifications to make it look decent sadly. The clone pilots are great but the ship ... Idk. Worst things are the atrocious bottom side (like wtf) and of course the stickerec cockpits (a no go) If I buy the set rventually on discount those stickers will stay of. Sadly that makes it look even worse but applying stickers to windshields is torture and always ends up badly.
The only set of the new wave I considered getting and now I'm good. I'm not even gonna wait for a sale, just skip it along with the rest of the wave all together.
Aside from the scale, it turned out pretty good, but damn, I really wish it was a little bit bigger. Anyways I won't complain much, as Lego has already crushed my expectations much more than this in others sets in the recent past.
The amount of stickers is absurd. If they're gonna raise the prices why can't they at least print a few pieces 😡 they're taxing us anyway they possibly can at this point 😂
2:10 The clone pilots torsos are actually ever so slightly different. If you look at the middle one with blue helmet compared to the others you'll notice that one of the buttons/light/whatever they are is down instead of up like the other two torsos!
Obviously the Lan members already made a review odmf this days ago, but wow is it inoressive that you consistently get these so early. (Im not trying to "Brick ride" here, its genuinely surprises me every time)
Thanks so much for this review I'm pretty torn up about adding this set to my collection I'm always looking for cool figs and sets but this set is a serious let down. Definitely getting the new Plo Koon Starfighter next year though.
I see what you’re saying. I think it’s because of the more inaccurate proportions on this newer model compared to the older arc 170s. I think the body to wing to cannon ratio is off so it looks a bit like the headhunter
You should do a upgrade kit for this and sell on whatnot. Fix the gap, cannons (either the old build or maybe just an extension for the lower blaster and a black spring loaded shooter), and maybe the wings if you feel it's that necessary.
I think you are being overly critical here. The wings are smaller and the proportions are not right but the wings and the engines still look far better than on the previous two. The gap on the back of the ship is also accurate, it just shouldn't be so large.
Do the Comparison Video. You're making alot of claims about the older sets being better but you aren't showing them off in this video, so it just comes off like your complaining to complain.
Bro did not watch this video. And it’s not like I’m just making up what these other sets had, you can also just look at them and see the same difference that I’ve explaining. Either way comparison video coming soon just for you!
@@MandRproductions Alright then; 6:03 You compared the 2025 set to the 2010 set, the largest of the 3, but did not compare it to the original like Solid Brix Studios did.
Evil MandR be like: I love big sticker sheets😈
Make Lego great again! This should be the new we want a 501st battle pack saying. It’s honestly so disappointing how much Lego has stopped caring and how much they’ve recessed since the golden age
Ain’t no way! Did you guys see those amazing clones with normal helmet holes? Lego truly listens to us😁
this set needs heavy modifications to make it look decent sadly.
That tiny tiny chance to make the side cannons bigger makes such a big difference my god
I think Lego for sure dropped the ball on this unfortunately. The shrinkflation and Inaccuracies are killing me man.
Dont forget good ol' regular inflation of 10 buckerinos!
I remember my Aunt buying the ARC-170 ROTS at walmart for $40 i believe. This $75 one is a slap in the face to that memory.
Lego prices are just ridiculous at this point
Can we not just appreciate Lego finally releasing an arc-170 with Amazing figures instead of dogsh*tting on it?
Delusional people do be delusional. Nothing will ever be good for LEGO SW "fans".
I knew Ryan was chill Ike that
The only set of the new wave I considered getting and now I'm good. I'm not even gonna wait for a sale, just skip it along with the rest of the wave all together.
Shame after 15 years of waiting for this set I’m just gonna end up building my own custom version, IM TIRED OF THE DOWN SIZING LEGO 😡
Can u make a comparison video with the arc-170s?????
3:30 Start of set review
11:36 “wtf y’all doing y’all RATIONING round here cmon COOK me up” 😂😂😂
I'm glad 1:50 didn't come with helmet holes for no reason like clones now.
Its a pilot doesnt have any accessories for the helmet
@ same with the $30 battle pack from January
Aside from the scale, it turned out pretty good, but damn, I really wish it was a little bit bigger. Anyways I won't complain much, as Lego has already crushed my expectations much more than this in others sets in the recent past.
The amount of stickers is absurd. If they're gonna raise the prices why can't they at least print a few pieces 😡 they're taxing us anyway they possibly can at this point 😂
Best in terms applying stickers, is using tweezers.
2:10 The clone pilots torsos are actually ever so slightly different. If you look at the middle one with blue helmet compared to the others you'll notice that one of the buttons/light/whatever they are is down instead of up like the other two torsos!
Looks like a slight misprint
asking 70$ for this while stripping away all the quality is insane work by lego
First, that’s not a member
Yes, the lan should not be allowed to review earlier
Obviously the Lan members already made a review odmf this days ago, but wow is it inoressive that you consistently get these so early. (Im not trying to "Brick ride" here, its genuinely surprises me every time)
I like dual molded legs, if only they had dual molded legs
Amazing quality video, as always
Anyone else upset this wasn't the UCS set of 2025 :/
I just found this Lego set at my local store for 60$! I bought it and is building it rn
Lego headquarters on panic mode right now cause he got a set weeks early again
Thanks so much for this review I'm pretty torn up about adding this set to my collection I'm always looking for cool figs and sets but this set is a serious let down. Definitely getting the new Plo Koon Starfighter next year though.
7:03 Is it me or does it look more like the headhunter ship than the arc-170 when the wings are closed?
I see what you’re saying. I think it’s because of the more inaccurate proportions on this newer model compared to the older arc 170s. I think the body to wing to cannon ratio is off so it looks a bit like the headhunter
You should do a upgrade kit for this and sell on whatnot. Fix the gap, cannons (either the old build or maybe just an extension for the lower blaster and a black spring loaded shooter), and maybe the wings if you feel it's that necessary.
Legos (Fake) inflation is getting ridiculous this is a $45 set stop pretending it’s not
i personally like how there’s no jedi. just straight troops to fill in all accommodated spots
Chopper 1:42

I heard that the reason why the wings are shorter is because on the older models, they often sag down over time.
I think you are being overly critical here. The wings are smaller and the proportions are not right but the wings and the engines still look far better than on the previous two. The gap on the back of the ship is also accurate, it just shouldn't be so large.
The gap is accurate, and no for the price the wings should definitely be bigger and the proportions correct
While I own the 2010 version I’ll still buy this just cause it’s been 15 freaking years!
@@MandRproductions Alright then;
6:03 You compared the 2025 set to the 2010 set, the largest of the 3, but did not compare it to the original like Solid Brix Studios did. If you did it would show that while the new set is still smaller, it isn't nearly as bad as you make it out to be.
7:58 Complained about the blockiness of the bottom of the set and claim that the older ones did it better, but did not actually show what the original sets did instead.
11:15 You claim that in the old sets, you could place/remove the astromech droid without disturbing the pilots in the older sets, but failed to actually prove your point.
@@transformersfan8923 I don't need to prove it, it's just the truth lmao this ain't debate class.
2005 has the exact same Length & Width as 2010 but whatever you say goes you're clearly an expert after watching a shills review lmao
I have an MandR review to look forward to when I get home 😁
If I had to unsubscribe from all of UA-cam except for 1 channel.. I’d choose this one. Best on UA-cam brother.
Would you ever consider doing video where you get a second one of these sets and try to fix some of its flaws?
To fit the astromech droid with the pilots in just lean them forwards, great vid btw😀
One quick thing about the main guns. According to Star Wars lore, the "top cannon" is actually a rangefinder. So technically, Lego added a gun to the 170, not take one away.
