This is probably the favorite teppanyaki shop I've ever watched. The quality of the ingredients and dishes is top-notch, yet there's no excessive packaging. And chife is super care of his knife.
And it's not pretentious like a lot of restaurants that serve Wagyu, it has a laid back vibe. Also a good deal for the quantity and quality that you're getting.
That was about $120 US dollars or 96 British lbs sterling. Not bad for 13oz A5 wagyu with accoutrements. Here in the US would gave been quadruple that price!
I think at the start the chief was camera shy because his performance dramatically improved as the video went on. Interesting place, added it to the list for the next time I'm in Osaka.
That's a steak that I would love to try. Wagyu meat is from another planet. After living in Japan for 8 years, shame on me that I did not look into beef.
I did look for a while and think, wow, he’s rubbish with his knife. Kept watching and clearly the Wagyu is frozen. So fair play to him. Wagyu literally melts with body heat, so makes sense it’s frozen for butchery
i've always liked your videos. Teppanyaki ASMR. The dude massacred the cut of that steak, Thinner on one side. And all the drama and hacking as he tried to cut the piece. A great vid nonetheless. Send a doggie bag when you get a chance.
What a shame, never eaten Wagyu in my life, but seeing that being cut up like that is heartbreaking, cow fat is the best fat!! Give me the trimming and i will take home please lol
Looks like the wrong knife for the first slice (too short). It may be #5 wagyu, but just my ballpark, everything looks amateur: the cutting style, rinsing off the knife and just rubbing it off on a towel that gets disdainfully thrown onto some counter-top, trimming angles that then later get trimmed off .... A major thing in restaurants is presentation, and that guy looks more like a street vendor in a baseball cap than a chef. I guess the meal is inexpensive relative to classier places?
Schon beim Schneiden sieht man, dass das Messer überwiegend durch Rinderfett schneiden muss und daran stark haftet. Buh Bäh, Rinderfett ist nicht so mein Ding.
Is it just me or did he take way too long to cook the steak ? He kept flipping it even after he let it rest and he didn't cook the sides like th3 other chefs in the other videos. He didn't seem experienced like the others

そう思います。プライベートな食事はリラックスできることも大切なことですよね。このお店行ってみたい。
I love this guy's handiwork, he's so gentle!! I wish I had seen him plate each vegetable 😭
Another Teppanyaki video to relax and fall asleep to. Thanks as always Aden.
These videos bring me peace
they make me hungry
We are so lucky to have all these experts in the comments telling us how to actually make this
Finally. Chef let it rest and didn’t cut it open mid cook on the grill top. Nicely done. Looks so good
That is what you call respect for your cooking ingredients ❤
Thank you Aden. I think this meal was very good value for money.

Meanwhile I was an idiot and read the Yen sign as a 7 and i was like that was $4000!?!?
Isn't that 11.64 ounces of meat? 330 gm.

2:00 Fascinating! They have pictures of food on the wall, instead of children and stuff.
You cook very good.

What is the green vegetable they grind into a paste? I see this almost always offered but don't know what it is.
Wasabi

But what did it taste like?
Maybe he's saving the end pieces for himself later on.
Frying a beautiful piece of Waygu from frozen.? EEK

Don’t think you would have missed any fat didn’t you see the marbling.
Looks delicious. Just wish more bigger portions
Bro thats 330g
@@OpieLindachasper that’s an appetizer. I would have left there hungry ! Lol
Maybe regular steak. Wagyu is so rich, a few bites is good for me. Need some balance in the meal, personally
Судя по трясущимся рукам шефа, вагю он готовит не каждый день.

Ur obviously a “big Mac” kinda guy!…🤦🏼♂️
I’m just embarrassed watching the whole fiasco 😮
I noticed those thing ad well
Also, serving the veggies on aluminium foil. Just wrong.
You're the expert

食べたい🤤
I don't understand why he added oil to the hotplate when there's all that beautiful fat trimming
Thats not a steak thats a chunk of fat with meat in it
It’s refreshing to see folks not wearing useless masks on their face.
So you like people spitting on your food?
How You get so fat cows? It is even legal?
If I have to choose between a rib eye or a wagyu… the rib eye is my choice
Why can't he get a Bigger Knife?
I take that back :( posted too early before the end. Looks like he preferred to spill the juice out on the grill after all;(
The vegetables are served on aluminum foil?!?
The chef needs a bigger knife to slice the Wagyu.
Also, the chef needs to practice more.
That was a truly substantial piece of beef. If that qualifies as medium though I'm ordering extra extra well done.
Big steak for Wagyu, it's usually tiny.
How much is the steak/the whole meal in USD?
According to the tab at the end, May 1, 2024 exchange rate, $117.05. Far less than I expected.

I was wondering wtf those were too. 😂
Yes it is
I would have had 3 beers by now.
ngl dont cut nothing off the steak i want the whole thing 👿👿

Was that a watermelon slice he grilled ?
looks like maybe papaya
I think it is guava
@@kerrypetersen4024 no. You need to check out what papaya looks like.

The cutting with that knife was painful to watch
Per uno Chef giapponese il coltello è un appendice del suo corpo,un prolungamento di sé stesso ecco perché è così importante
With all due respect, after a morning of training, I think most could by afternoon meet this chef's level of expertise.

Too much A5 wagyu wasted
Is that watermelon 🍉?
I think it is guava
Cook it medium 😮
Nice 👍🏻
Delicious looking meal.
Das ist ja schon ein Verbrechen was der da macht
Why oil to cook the wagyu? The fat would just melt and cook in its own fat
I thought it was the same video as before

Medium?!?!?!?!? What a Barbarian.
Why ?
i know how hard it is, to cut through frozen meat...
why not slice it before freezing? because they are delivered frozen like this?
Everything good is in Japan bro 😭

Meat looks great chef needs training

The food looked delicious. But for $120, I'd prefer to have my vegetables served on a plate, not a piece of foil.
My thoughts exactly.
