I use duo element water/fire when fighting afflicted Barroth using this gun and its amazing. great for cleaning the mud off quick with water then you can utilize fire to make the fight easy.
Did you mod for those augments? Or is it possible to achieve without mods? I play PC but I haven't used any mods yet and don't plan to until I get super bored with the game
What's the verdict on charged elemental pierce ammo on HBG? It feels like you should be able to make do without having to go back all that much if you fire charged shots... or at least it does for me. Nice little video anyway!
Id do it, if youre not going for meta you may as well do it, its double ammo, the damage is good, theres a skill to boost charged elemental damage too. I always recommend the charge shot rebalance mod or crouch shot rebalance mod for anyone okay with mods. Charge shot mod makes it a 3.2x modifier on a lvl 3 and puts the 2.2x on level 2, crouch shot mod makes the overheat much less intrusive letting you shoot around 10-15 shots instead of 7ish
@@BadAssBlackOverlord I'm inclined to agree... however it is really stupid that literally none of HBG's special firing modes are viable. Crouch, charge, wyvernheart, wyvernsnipe... why leave yourself vulnerable to do less damage? It doesn't make any sense and takes away from the identity of the weapon as something slow but powerful. If you're not going to use these features, why not just play LBG instead?
@@Terminarch What you said is why I haven't played nearly as many hours compared to World. I refuse to go LBG because I'm insistent on maining my preferred choice in HBG. Its caused a level of resentment tbh and I just curse capcom out every now and then even though it isn't a healthy approach. You are on the mark with your statements.
Reminds me of the Old Anti-Alatreon set in world that was like an Ice Fire mix :') nice build
About time phemeto. I been using this because it may not be optimal but it's fun and not annoying to go back to camp like 7 times for 3 monsters.
Did you watch 5:49 until the end?

No mods, trust me they’re totally legit. Yup. It’s all possible without mods, who needs mods?

@@MysteriousStranger50 If its not standard it doesn't feel right. All your hunts are put to question.

'Running out of ammo' means running out of combines you can store in inv as well.
