Have the same car, I live in Europe, was wondering why us have different oil specs, just because of different climate? Also, if I don’t drive my car in the winter, can I use thicker oil like motul 5w-50, I know people with rs models with over 300k miles that only run this specific oil. To be honest I was quite surprised that EU specs are 0w-30
@@CARSPARTSTOOLS Thank you so much for your fast answer ! Im asking because this new focus mk4 ST have electronic brakebooster ( not clasic vacuum brakebooster) and i was wondering if i need Forscan to modulate the ABS unit......im not changing ABS unit, just simple changing the brake fluid. After the dealer changed my brake pads, the brake pedal started feeling a little spongy......
Some of this cars has still warranty! If you feel the brake pedal spongy maybe you must drive a little …. That the pads becomes the brake disc form exactly! But surely I have done this process in the same cars before! And I didn’t use something special, or to face a problem after a normal brake fluid change! Yes this cars have an electric brake system, but only because of the brake assistant systems *** !
@@CARSPARTSTOOLS My car doesnt have warranty anymore! Ihave driven it for about a year.... When i changed rear brake pads, i put it in brake service mode and after that the pedal felt perfect. when i changed front pads, i didnt put it in brake service mode and started feeling spongy.....
Normally there nothing to change something in the system to have this effect, sometimes you must drive a little more to get the right result, or maybe is something wrong with the Pads ! How long distance you have driven after the Pads replacement and what kind of Pads do you Use ?
Wish i could get my hands on a left hand drive mk4 before they are gone. It would sit nice next to my white 2013

Hi! I think and I believe this happens because of Euronorms …. But that’s truth US have different standards!
Have you changed brake fluid on this car? Do you know if it can be done the classic way or you need programing and diagnose?
Hi ! Yes I have do this process some times! You don’t need to program something like in some Mercedes for example…. With the classic way ! Thank you 😊

Hi
With the oil filter how tight should you do it?
Thanks
For example 3/4 rotation after the contact of the filter with the surface! Or just tight it with the full power of one hand! Thank you 😊
