Oil filter tip. Slightly loosen the oil filter. Take a red solo cup and squeez it around the filter and spin. No mess and all the oil stays in the solo cup.

Im going to try this. I just used a small funnel on my filter last time but a cup makes more sense

Question, when you lift the car only at the front, are you emptying the oil more effective when doing that or is their a risk that you are not draining all oil? The plug is tilted backwards I guess so maybe its even more effective than to lift all four wheels? Im having a tight garage so not possible to lift all four....
Good to see you pre-fill the filter. Why wouldn't you! I've seen vids where the mech just didn't bother. There is no reason not to? Here in the UK (And Europe generally) the oil spec is 0/40 It's not as if we have a colder climate generally than the US? I use 5/50 now the car is out of warranty and have had no issues.

I am from Germany and my Focus RS Manual says that i have too use 0w 40 Oil . Why is it different in the US?
U filled up the filter + another 6L? Sounds a bit much to me as the oil also will expand when engine getting hot. Manual says 5.4 with filter. Anyways, nice video

@@CameronAlford lot’s of tests showing differences in performance, but if we’re being honest, the earlier oil changes are more important. AMSOIL is great if you beat the shit out of your car, like in tracking
@@CameronAlford Amsoil and Redline used to be the only two that met Ford specifications. Looks like they're adding more now
I'm running Motul in my GR86 and have had no complaints, it's quality stuff

Are you sure? everyone else ive see/talked to has 5W50 also
@@CameronAlford it looks like ford recommends to use 0W40 WSS-M2C937-A in europe and 5W50 WSS-M2C931-C in north america. I don’t know why though 😅
