Exactly the information I was searching for!! Mercedes e350 driver side headlight replacement haha! Your step by step instructions has made this a much less dreadful task. Thank you!!
@@HotRodDave I actually made a smoke machine that works great following utube vids. My problem is that the connection point on the Mercedes evap is practically impossible to remove & Im not 100%sure on where to start. Do u need a special tool for evap connectors?
Why didn't you take the wheel off to give you better access to the plastic liner? Do you really need to drag this video out to 14 minutes to just change a light bulb? Slow and boring, I don't think I'll subscribe.
I was being lazy for one but I also wanted to show it could be done. Sorry you were bored. Check out some of my other videos and let me know what you think. Thanks for watching.
about the same time to get out the jack, block off tires, left car insert stands and lower off jack. Take off lug nuts then tire then now we are at wheel well lining. I guess its where all your stuff is and type off stuff you got. If your driveways a bit inclined and you got a cheap scissor jack then I'd try to avoid taking off the wheels. I'd say the real issue is how crappy these Mercedes are designed. You ever try to replace the alternator on one of these? There is no reason it has to be this hard. It is simply designed with out ergonomic repair as a consideration.

It is nice to see how it is done without taking the wheel off, bc it would be the hardest part for me with minimum tools. great video. Thank you
Thank you glad I could help
Thanks saves alot of tinkering on my behalf.
Nice work. Thanks for the detailed video
That is a lot of work. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching
Great help thank you!❤
Awesome
Thank you so much. Really appreciate this video & can now fix my wife's headlights.
Any chance you have a video on E350 Evap small leak?
Thanks Tad. I don't have a evap leak video and small leaks can be hard to find. I do have a special smoke and pressure tester for that though.

@@tadcraig3162 my kit has multiple connections and a gauge to let you know if it is sealed up or leaking. The kit I have was about a grand. Smoke pro
Do you have details on the new replacement bulb you used in this video? Like brand name and bulb type?
I am sorry I don't but I am sure you can Google the part you need for your car or your local parts supplier should be able to help you.
U should be able to go to O'Reillys or autozone and ask for an H7 bulb.
Just remove the tire and do the work
It’s very very easy
I need more details
Just missed one thing, what kind of bulb? H7?
I don't remember. If you Google it it will tell you.
@@HotRodDave Ya it gives a choice of H7 or H11. I think it is the former.
@@Mordalo it should say on the bulb. You will have to pull it out to read it.
Why didn’t you upgrade to LED bulbs?
It's not my car. They just wanted a bulb replaced.
wheel of and wheel arch cover off. No other way. You did the hard way. lol.
Wasn't really hard. That would be easier though.
@@HotRodDave ok bro. Greets from Finland/Suomi
Ridiculous. can you think of a more STUPID design? My mean, really?
Most of the cars are that way now. everything is stacked on top of everything. Not fun being a mechanic in these times sometimes.
