19 STI owner . Looks great brother,congrats on new shoes ,but my personal taste is OLD rims!!!!! They were phenomanal as a rally look true STI spirit nothing too bright,fancy and as simple perfection!!! Anyway your car your choice ..Cheers and Enjoyee you Samurai 🤙🤙
The nubs bother the hell out of me. Reminds me of a 15 year olds first stache haha. It’s not tire shine. It’s rubber sealant. It actually protects the tires from cracking. It doesn’t get your hands dirty either. It’s not your typical tire shine you’re thinking of haha.
Not a bad choice at all. My problem with black is its all too common these days (like to be as unique as i can) when people go aftermarket its even a factory color now. & you only get the true vision in person up close. Theyre not very photogenic especially at a distance. Even in this vid i can tell id see more detail in some of the angles if they were, say... the same color as your old rims. Personally i like more of a pop like bronze, which isnt a crazy pop like white. But with your theme you got goin they do look good 👍 i honestly dont know which set id pick between these & your old ones. Car looks clean as always thou man love it you take good care of her!
So when was the maiden voyage, for the wheel set up that you spent so much coinage? Oh I am sure it was fun to go out for that very first run 🏎! Night or day should not decrease the fun in anyway. And by the way the rims look dope 👍 and that is no joke for all you rim and wheel folk!
It is different for sure and is the one thing that makes me so-so on this wheel. It does look better in person than the video and pictures show. The advan RZF2, which the zr10 is very similar design wise, has the machined edge as well. Not for everyone, but the change is nice.
The rims look great! I think the issue I have that keeps throwing me off is the color of the car. It's my least favorite STI color. But thats just my opinion which means nothing. I think the car needs something to make it POP! It's just blah looking IMO. (Which means nothing like I said) I actually think White rims would make the car look awesome. But you would be spending the rest of your free time cleaning them LOL. Maybe a nice silver or chrome rim... But that's just the way my style is. I think black rims look good on every other color except the dark blue and the rally blue IMO. Good luck with them they are nice looking rims.
Appreciate the video! I placed my order the Grim Black Diamond Rim Cut through system motorsports 19x9.5 +38 for my 22 Lexus IS350 cloudburst gray. I wanted to ask if you can provide a link to the hub centric rings? Also, is a stud conversion required to run these wheels or lug bolts okay?
You should’ve left 2 old wheels on one side and 2 new wheels on the other side and wrap half of your car that way you can take pictures of both sides with different wheels and colors 😂😂
Would I have to get my rear fenders rolled if I run a 19×9.5 +35 wheel with maybe a 245 or 255 size tire? Also I plan to have Fortune Auto coilovers dropped an inch.
Rear arches are lower than the front. It appears higher to the naked eye, but it’s not. If you lowered it to match the rear look, you would have a raked car. Not a properly set up suspension setup.
Hey I have a question I just got these wheels in 5x114.3 and I noticed on the actual wheel itself it’s stamped with 5x100 did yours say the same thing ?
Lots of factors to take into consideration. Tire size. Ride height. Alignment specs. However, I don’t run anywhere at my height and how I have the car setup.

Machined edge ruins it for me. No clue why they put that there. Nice black and blue theme car, de-chromed, and then that barrel shine.

I’m the opposite. The lips give the car a nice subtle touch. Really brings out the gloss black too. Looking to get these soon as well!

I would've had my wheels on my car by the middle of summer but life got in the way. Can't wait to do that in the spring.

That is a pretty staple fitment, you’ll be fine. Obviously depends on tire specs, alignment specs, and how low you are.

Yes. My fenders were already rolled from a previous set of wheels. Yes camber is needed.

The ring? Yes. Otherwise you will have vibrations in your steering wheel.

There’s no specific spec that will clear or not. It all depends on alignment specs and tire brand and size. A lot of factors to taken into account.
