Much better choice this time! That charcoal color just complements the blue so well. Would keep the gold center rings, i never knew they were a thing, think they look killer. Very suttle but impactful touch, unique from most setups ive seen on the VA platform. Looks great 👌🔥

I didn't think it could get any better than your last wheel setup but these are so clean!
How is the front strut clearance? Any issues at full lock? Awesome setup and definitely digging the gold centering rings.
Everything clears just fine. No issues at full lock.
I saw another video that ceramic coating these is not recommended and can interfere with the paint. I have some on order now and plan to leave them alone.
Probably should get yourself a new contact because that is entirely false.

So you’d say that for the rear, while running that same fitment, different rims but same offset, that I would need a camber kit and a processing of the fenders done as well?

The ps4’s that I got took place of the pss’s. If anyone has the pss’s, they are left overs.

Loving the new look! Any reason you went with csl/evo over c5? I just did my first ever ceramic coating on a set of wheels with c5.
I use the csl/exo on every part of the car (paint, wheels, calipers, trim, etc.). Found it holds your much better and longer than what I’ve experienced with other brands. The combo to me has a very wax like look to it, which is why I prefer it over others. Everything else looks very synthetic and fake.

@phonglam4889 you can but I definitely recommend putting at least 1 layer of exo on after. You’re doing all that work so would be wise to protect it.

hey chris as i scrolled back and rewatching this vid again im on the process of getting my after market wheels on after collecting dust since halloween lol..i cant prep it like this(coating the barrel) if i want my tpms tranfered to the new wheels
The tpms goes on the inside of the wheel. I don’t coat that part of the wheel. Just the inner barrel and front/back of the face.

Still can get them if I ever want them. But they aren’t the best looking caps and I feel take away from the wheel. Plus $55 per cap, so it’s $200 for caps that I don’t like. Might try to explore a custom option, but for now, I enjoy the current look.

Yes! Believe it or not, the car feels way more precise and agile. Despite it being “only” 2lbs, it’s a big difference overall.

I don’t know much about the other rims but wedsport , what subscriber would complain? 🤷🏼♂️ wedsports are hella sexy AND hella light weight rims. They have like a dark or blackish blue wedsport rim I thought would of looked better but to each there own. Looks clean tho 👍 maybe paint marker white Michelin and another ?

That coating is great for the paint but it won’t last on the wheels gtech has a dedicated wheel coating that actually lasts Im telling you this cause I have coated wheels with both products

I think you should keep the gold hubcentric rings for a while. It stands out especially when looking not to far away on the profile view of the car. Looks good!
Yeah it definitely is different, but something about it adds a whole other level of detail.

It’s one of those things that gets under my skin. Spend a good amount of money on nice tires and they leave them on. UGH!
I just bought the csl do I need to put exo or can I just use the csl?
You can just use csl, but I would recommend using evo x4 on top. It’s what makes the coating look amazing and hold up over time.

What camber are you running to get them to fit? They don't look like they have much camber at all. I'd like to get wheels with this exact spec. But what I want is the Volk ZE40.

I went over this in the previous video. They are available, but they aren’t the best looking caps. Plus at $55 a cap for something I don’t like, it isn’t worth it. I prefer the no cap with the gold rings better.

Mine clear with a ton of clearance. It depends on what application you are putting the wheels on and what brakes, but the R face has no issues with the brakes on the STI.

You can if you want, but I prefer using the metal valves that come with the wheels.

Just live with the dash light. Doesn’t bother me as I regularly check the tires.

I think the new wheels look amazing but is it just me or is it not a very significant difference than the wheels you just took off as far as the overall appearance of the car. But again you car looks badass.
Enkei’s are 15 spoke with a matte satin finish. Weds are 10 spoke with a gloss gunmetal finish. Massive weight saving difference between the two. While the design may be similar (thin spoke), there are many differences between the two. Personally, I think a 10 spoke wheel looks best on this car.
