Love the new setup! I'll eventually switch to Titan 7s and enjoying Superspeed (19.3 lbs per wheel) for now until I finish my performance mods and make a new budget. Running 18x9.5, +38 offset and 265/35/40 Falkens. Also not a fan of stretched tires and 265/35/40 are always in stock so I can easily replace the wheels or tires. Thanks for the engine bay cleaning video - was on my list after a small coolant leak caused by IAG v3 AOS clamp going to the turbo. Also going to try ceramic coating my STI so thank you for that video as well :) Love your old content, so much helpful info Chris.

Great choice love how you paired them up with those Michelin Cups 2 looks like there's more protection to the wheel it self since they're not stretched out, I got the same tires on my series white STI they come in stock and they're very grippy to say the least! Car is looking even better now!

I too...obtained a truck for a daily (just in time for gas to shoot up AGAIN) to pick up car parts with and for winter activities. Best investment ever! Now if...I could just stop looking at lift/leveling kits and 20's w/offroad tires...air intakes...cheap exhausts which would replace the original (about to be rusty anyways!)
It really never stops. BUT, having a paid off truck to drive while you slowly build your toy car is a W no matter what.

Much better now that you got some proper meats on the wheels! Love the last set too, just not a fan of look of the tires. While I typically like the OEM+ look, I think the red on the wheels looks good!

The little stretch was fine, but that perfect square fitment is 🔥 .. complete look with the 🏁 design on the Michelins .. Beast mode 😈
The flag design is one of the best parts! They are fuzzy to the touch haha.
I really like the wheels and tires together. Not a big fan of stretched tires either. I mean a tiny bit is okay but anything more than that is a no for me lol the STI looks very clean too. I think it’s not overly done and definitely a neck breaker🤙🏼
FYI, the audio for the music is much louder than the rest of the vid. Love the wheels man, whole setup = sex. 🤘
Perfect setup! Id say keep the red decals in my opinion so there isn't too much white in one area! maybe change the hub centric rings as well instead of yellow!

You are correct, you did not see me loosen with the torque wrench haha. It's a Kobalt ratchet breaker bar. You can see both wrenches on the ground at 9:51.

It looks super clean, I want the Volk TE37SL 19" for my 15 STi, they're a bit expensive but worth it, still need to do upgrade my brake rotors, I'm between DBA or StopTech with Hawk pads

it looks amazing bro those wheels with the car such an amazing look. Did you rolled or pulled your fenders with those set of tires? I have the same set of tires and its rubbing on the rear with some lowering springs I installed. Also, is it normal for one side of the rear lower than the other? to be specific 1/4 of an inch

Thanks! My rears have been rolled for a long time from previous wheel setups. I got them rolled when I ran the Enkei RS05rr's. No pull. Fronts untouched.
Springs can do that since there are no adjustments to be had. It's a set it and live with whatever it drops you type of setup. I would check your struts as well to make sure that lower side isn't blown or on its way out.

I am running 18x9.5 +35. Perfect size to run without having to add spacers.
@@Scoobyfreak86 ok cuz I thought you added spacers in the video? I just meant would +38's or +32s be ideal for say a separate set for front and rears if they could be custom ordered and money wasn't an issue. Was just looking for the ultimate setup in the 18x9.5-in wheel.
+35 is the way to go. Yes I added spacers to play with fitment since I am running a lot of Camber.

Yes! POV driving vids are coming. Since getting the new camera setup and pass aber recaro, I had to figure out a new way to mount the camera. I came up with a solution, so I should have some soon.

I’m running Faulken Azeris FK510 tires on fortune auto 500 coils with the swift springs and I couldn’t be happier with it. Anyway, I’m loving your build man and I’ve learned a ton from your channel!

this is a dumb question but i just lowered my car + a lipkit. Do you get a lot of scraping when going over speed bumps or steep banks?
Angle is your best friend. It takes some practice, but you’ll get the hang of it.

how do subies deal with a change in tire diameter? is the speedo just off or can the car adjust somehow? did you look for a tire size that had close to the same diameter as factory?
265/35 is in spec of the stock sizes ratios.

I hate to be a turd... and maybe I am biased since I have Wedsports on my STI...But I love the Wedsports and like the Volks. Its all personal opinion though. I tried getting PS4s for mine last year and they were a year out!! I had to go with Bridgestone Potenzas.
