Thanks for watching everyone! And also it's pretty sweet that we hit the 2 million mark! Amazing! We did it together, from the bottom of my heart I can't thank you enough. I literally would not be here without the support, motivation, love, (and let's be honest, patience) you've shown towards me and this little community we have built together.
Speaking of! I know you've been missing the Friday videos while I've been on a deep dive binge lately, but as always if you are looking for more stories every week check out the That Chapter Podcast! Every Monday a brand new, podcast exclusive story is uploaded and there's some very creepy and spooky topics covered there so please give it a goo, available on all podcast platforms :D
Mike you are so easy to love. You have a knack for walking the fine line of respect for the victim, disdain for the criminal, & humor over the ridiculousness of the human condition.
Congrats Mike, you truly deserve it, see ya at 3 million!!!

Congratulations for two million subscribers! Also, love the background.

Then the detective 'I got 3 homosexuals in a house with 1 straight guy. What's he doing over there?' Why is everyone being so comical?

The lack of blood seals the deal that these 3 are full of BS. It's literally impossible that scene hadn't been tampered with extensively.
That second judge is insane.
The weirdest part about this is, if you were going to make up a lie to cover up a murder, why the hell would you say that you heard them come in but didn't hear them leave? Anyone with a single brain cell would say they heard the door chime on the way in and then the way out
If his heart wasn't beating, it wouldn't be pumping blood out. I think poor Robert was dead before he was stabbed.

The fact that these 3 guys aren't in prison is unbelievable. I guess money really does buy your freedom.... Great channel Mike!!!!!
Spoiler alert!! 😂😂
It was also the strategy of not doing the jury trial. You have one person to plead the case too, and not 12. Usually harder for the defendant, unless they know how to create confusion of who it is. Hence the verdict.
They're lawyers so they knew exactly what to do
That's fine but they will pay the piper.
They will regret their evil wickedness once they are done in the world. The world they had plenty of time to turn from their evil ways but once they are expired no amount of money will save them believe that!
Believe that!
What a terrible interregator. All he does is accuse the men and yell at them. I think a more skilled interregator could have gotten one of them to crack.
Jim Smith could have done it.
Watching this was painful.
the ones I saw in actual interagations are all dumb and dumber lost brothers. Basically all they have is: we are your best friends, you would want to let the people know your side of a story, you are a good guy, and we know you did it, if you tell us we will help you out. Rotate the phrases with slight variations and run on repeat until the dude gets tired. Only smart ones are in tv-shows.
Came to the comments to say this halfway through - genuinely painful to watch. No wonder this is unsolved, the interrogator is useless
One who was well-educated and way more patient. No platitudes of fake b.s. Straight to the point. These "roomates" were intelligent and educated, you need same on the other side to mirror them.
I still keep going back to how the 3 guys were behaving when the EMT's got there. You KNOW they've seen a LOT of weird, creepy and horrible things in their careers. But this one had their hair standing up. Creepy as hell.
I've thought about this story a lot, over the years. I still hope one day Robert gets justice. What terrible friends to have.

Torture is not common, what's even more uncommon is that an intruder comes to a strangers house and takes his time torturing a man where 3 other men were.
I'd say almost unheard of. Usually if an intruder tortures and murders one person in a house, they kill everyone except sometimes they'll spare children. This case is infuriating.
Exactly 💯
Pretty sure there’s never been a case where an intruder got a victim’s semen inside their rectum!
And one of the men has these torture implements in his bedroom . I bet the ‘toys’ were never looked at by forensics . They were allowed to get away with m*rder .
But it was not an intruder, and there were not 3 men there.
Just sayin'
I feel like the police messed this one up so bad. I think all the gaps and lack of evidence is due to police incompetency. Its a shame this poor victim was let down so bad even after the horrific crime.
It’s probably the worst police department in the nation. Corrupt and incompetent is just the beginning of the description. I know people who worked there and they fled at the first opportunity to one of the surrounding departments. Sickening the amount of incompetence and flagrant criminal behavior.
Never attribute to incompetence that which can be attributed to malice!
It's unfortunately not hard to believe such horrible things take place. What's unbelievable is how they just totally got away with murder.

3. Gives credit where credit is due
4. His shirts are always amazing ❤️
And, the cases are REAL! Too many “true crime” channels are popping up that are all AI generated.
When people talk about one true crime case they'd love to have solved, this is definitely one towards the top of my list. It's just so strange.
I agree this case, JonBenet Ramsey and Ellen Greenberg are all cases that I really want to be solved. This and Ellen because we know who did it and the people are getting away with it based on bullshit. But, how is there no blood? The bed should be soaked with blood unless the killed him in the shower. They need the Dr. Henry Lee from OJ Case who had them check the shower drains for blood to do the same here. Why would an intruder come in, kill one man clean all the blood, not kill the other 3 men and steal stuff. Utter. Bull. Shit.
Dude he died hours ago, 2 of them got to shower, they cleaned up the crime scene, his body, and the knife
But why introduce another knife into the scene? Why not just make the real knife disappear?
@@chrisragona3945 I would guess in the hopes that the detectives would not look for the real knife. If they have the murder weapon, they would not be looking for a murder weapon.
Yes but couldn't the story about running downstairs as soon as they heard "grunts" have been proven to be untrue with a coroners estimation of time of death? (I agree that your scenario is the only one that makes rational sense but the story they came up doesn't mark out the time necessary to wash down Robert's body and it sounds like forensics knew that his body had been washed down. Maybe the real story lies with the identity of the father of one of those guys - maybe one of their fathers called in a favor?)
Cops just couldn’t get past their own homophobia to actually do a through investigation. It’s a shame❤
Agree
The moment your story changes from. "The knife was on the counter or something" to "I pulled the knife out of him" should raise endless alarms
It did raise alarms but you still can’t prove he did anything.
That's what I thought too
It was an alarm from the phone call to the point that it was “investigated”. May he rest in peace and his wife have some kind of peace as well because there is no reason why all 3 of them shouldn’t have been convicted in some manner. A cleaned up crime scene, his own DNA inside of him? I don’t know who did it but there is no way that this could happen with those 3 in the house…..oh yeah, “allegedly “.
You can say the alarms were so endless that they were charged for it. Right??
You should mind your own business.
This one really creeped me out. The milking machine was what really the threw me over the edge. Something really creepy happened in that house. And I’m not really sure when no one’s gone down for it yet. People don’t just walk into houses, st*b people, wash them and then walk out without anyone knowing.
Milking machine?🐄😳
Either I missed that (how could I possibly?), or I haven't gotten to it yet...I stopped for a break after the "gas mask that you can pee into".😬
Ok, I put on my big girl panties and I'm going back in!💪🏼
Pray for me.
Mentioning the door chime on the 911 call is such unnecessary information. That seems to be a common thing the guilty party does. Whenever I hear something like that, I immediately get suspicious
well,if my TV went missing, and 30 min before it gone missing,i heard the door chime ringing...i would associate it to the theft,no?

Absolutely🎉
My thinking, just a possibility, is the men were still sky high off of the thrill of torturing their friend to death and the paramedics could smell that pure evil in the air. It's sort of a not well understood 6th sense about half of people have.
@@Endymion766 Yeah I've bet they've seen lots of people being weird at crime scenes. It's just a weird situation and people are going to be anxious and scared and robotic and odd. But scaring them? Especially when the victim is already dead? I'm 90% sure police have to secure the scene first in this kind of situation, so they should never be scared, especially indoors in a nice neighborhood. EMTs don't rattle like that either, especially in a city where they've probably been to some violent scenes. Just the guy who wouldn't face them... That would freak me out too. But why? If I can’t figure it out I always think it’s meth.
@@Jamietheroadrunner man idk. The Prosecutors podcast suggested Dylan might have initiated it as a test of Price's submission and it somehow got out of hand
I just absolutely LOATHE stories like that that are SO mysterious and weird and yet we KNOW for 100% that THREE PEOPLE know what happened that night - and aren't talking. omg, it's so frustrating.
How did you determine this 100%? Plz include equations or mathematical proof & not just a rant.
“THREE PEOPLE know what happened that night”?? What are you taking about. Joseph and Victor don’t know what happened, as is evident from *their police interviews. Even though they are clearly very intelligent men, they cannot fathom that Dylan murdered their friend, even though it’s the only logical explanation. I fully believe that Joseph and Victor are being truthful in their interviews, and do not come across as people who are trying to cover anything up. Dylan is absolutely guilty.
(EDIT for clarification: I’m referring to *their police interviews in their entirety, not just the clips which are used here.)
I hate unsolved cases as well. Also, "rant" and "clearly and absoultly guilty" talking down to you is crazy and a little 👀 because their thoughts are just like yours, an opinion. Which everyone is entitled to including you.. why do people forget this so often?!

Victor: "HELP HELP!"
911 dispatch: "Calm down ma'am!"

Victor is the key to solving this murder. Since he's the only one who didn't change his name, he's probably the innocent one. Now that he and Joseph are no longer together, the police should get him to talk by"tickling the wire," i e., make him nervous, get him to talk, and record it. This case is definitely solvable.
to me it just makes him seem like the most brazen one. Maybe he feels the least shame because he's the worst one?
I absolutely thought the same thing.
@@dessertstorm7476that's some strange logic- usually, people get very angry when killers DO change their name and rightly so.
A person will change their name themselves or witness protection sometimes pays foe an entire new life and identity. Of course not all cases are of guilty parties, some are endangered witnesses but it's definitely something guilty people do and imo, in many cases it can put the public at risk because it can mean communities are unaware of predators living in their midst...
Him not changing his name is more likely to suggest he feels he doesn't have anything to hide.
I immediately thought so when Mike told us about the others changing their names.
I do believe he could be the one to divulge what happened and guess what? They can still be charged if it was first degree because there's no statute of limitations on first degree whereas there is for second degree although some states differ snd I'm british so not totally sure which states stand where in that.
Let's all hope that Robert- and his widow - can receive justice and that these depraved reprobates get what's coming to them.
@WakeyWakeyEggsandBakey Agreed! I also think Victor is innocent of the murder, but knows who did it, because he wasn't supposed to be home that night. Now that he's away from Joseph, maybe he can be manipulated into talking.
Definitely a case of “who is mostly likely to be innocent” and my bet is also Victor. Wasn’t supposed to be there and got shooed away from the crime scene.
Either Dylan did it alone & Joseph used his legal knowledge and even possibly got his medically knowledgeable brother to help cover for him, or it was a conspiracy between these two (Dylan & Joseph) or three (the brother, not Victor).
I think they’re hiding things from Victor and even he doesn’t have enough definitive proof to offer the evidence that cracks the case back open.
Interesting they’ve all gone their separate ways now, makes me wonder if Joseph & his brother are still close….someone has to crack eventually, especially with (confirmed) distance between most of them now. This case is haunting and I pray it is resolved eventually.

Mike. Bud. These hour long videos are seriously making my week. Please, for all our sake, keep giving it a goo!
😕"NOT GUILTY." Why am I not surprised.
I live just south of the neighborhood this happened in, so I went to google street view to see if I had seen the house before. The photos for street view were apparently taken around Halloween because there's a skeleton ghost thing hanging on the door. The next door neighbor also has a ghost hanging on the door and spooky characters on the stairs. Such an unfortunate coincidence!
That 9-11 call was ridiculous. Not trying to whisper at all while claiming he *thinks* there's an intruder in the house. Then "Oh yeah, the intruder has one of our knives". The intruder he *thinks* exists, but knows has one of their knives. Very believable.
Yeah he never came down stairs, so how would he know it was a stabbing and that a knife was missing?
That was one of the red flags- he used one of our knives, while "ventilating". Did they all run to the kitchen to see if their knives were missing, and the lame-ass "prop" of a knife on the dressing table.
@@reignman30 He saw the knife before he called 911. Remember, he went downstairs and saw the body and the knife before he was sent upstairs to call the police. Just something to think about.
@@fallenangel7884 Yeah, but killers don't enter someone's house, use one of the household knives against a very specific individual in a very specific room, then leave.
When you add in the additional evidence, that the stab wounds were slow presses rather than violent stabs, there was no resistance and it took long enough that there was blood in the digestive tract, none of their story makes sense.
@@reignman30 OMG. I never even thought of that. Ok, now I'm really freaked out. Lol.
Imo Dylan accidentally killed him. The stabbing was just to make it look like an intruder did it. The death was accidental by pressure on the neck arteries and that’s why the stabbing had minimal bleeding… it was done after the fact in a panic. Just speculation of course.
My same exact thoughts.
Good theory. I like it better than my own. So you think he was dead long enough for the blood in his system to coagulate and then his corpse was stabbed to make it look like he was attacked. That would explain why there was no bleeding. Could be. But I'd think he'd have to be dead for a real long time for that to work. On the other hand, that could explain the mysterious punctures on his neck. A phlebotomist might be knowledgable enough to pierce the skin to see if the bleeding times were decreasing. After a while, there would be no bleeding, and that would be the time to sink the knife into the chest.
But the post mortem showed he was alive long enough after the stabbing to metabolise his own blood. None of it makes sense.
All these replies are legitimate!
The investigators were clowns.
@@michellemeredith8351 I think the coroner said he digested his own blood. I never heard of someone metabolizing his own blood. But close enough, you are correct. Maybe he bit his lip or tongue while being suffocated and he swallowed the blood at the beginning of the attack.
Pat Brown covered this story and in my opinion, solved the case. I dove pretty deep into to this last year and she’s the only one who ever made sense of this.
The Consult (retired FBI profilers) podcast has a nine-part series on this, and it’s EXCELLENT. I highly recommend checking it out. I’d also recommend watching all three police interviews in their entirety before delving into the podcast 👍🏼
By far the most baffling case I’ve ever heard about! Thank you for covering this
I'm still bothered by the lack of blood. Did he even die in that room? He shouldn't even have finished dying when the cops arrived.
Yeah that seems like the most glaring piece of evidence suggesting. Multiple deep stab wounds that severed arteries would a ridiculous amount of blood. The fact that two of them were still wet from the shower and the only blood was a tiny spot on the towel means someone brought him to the bathroom and cleaned him and themselves.
Also him having his own “DNA” inside of him points to some twisted kink and not a random break in/murder. The downstairs roomate for sure drugged him, did some horrific stuff and then either intentionally killed him or accidentally and tried covering it up.
@@thtswhtshesai6d9 I know, I was also thinking some bizarre kink, but then thinking further I came up with this possibility...
What if you are playing with another male partner, in an act of arousal you get your sperm on the other mans condom sheathed body part. Later on in another act of debauchery that condom situation winds up in your buttocks smearing your own sperm in there and none from the person who delivered it since THEIR sperm and DNA was captured inside the condom??? ...and what if they even had you put their condom on for them so their hands never even touched the condom? again, just a thought
@@thtswhtshesai6d9I watch Bailey Syrians video years ago on this and the mentioned all the toys the guys had was like a milking machine almost and it made the person ejaculate, im assuming even involuntary. Could that be a possible as to why its inside himself?
I'm with you. The lack of blood and the clean-up is absolutely stunning. Was Robert in the shower at some point too? So all the blood went down the drain?
I mean, Michael Price was literally studying to be a phlebotomist (the technician who draws blood from patients). He also had a key to get in, and wasn’t in class that night?
It was his friends. Nothing was stolen, and it looked like they were drawing blood from him. Something definitely went down. This is an insane case.
yeah. "friends".
That is interesting. Did the police consider that maybe the killers injected Robert with an empty syringe ? Or they were trying to draw blood from him but air got into the syringe and bloodstream and killed him?
@@MarsMellow84 I'd think that supposedly someone with an ability to actually draw blood (a phlebotomist), would be able to do the deed. An individual fairly inexperienced in drawing blood, however let alone someone unknowledgeable in administering an inoculation would be a much riskier person to allow doing this kind of event as well. Regardless of the giving (or taking away) of fluids into a person.
As if there aren't individuals that creep into homes and murder someone and then slip into the night...If three devious masterminds killed thier friend why would they call the police? They could've reported things as stolen and also made a mess to make it look like a robbery. The victim could've been attacked while he was sleeping.
@@scottashe984 They had an alarm system.
The paramedics also hit the panic / emergency button on their radio btw which triggered an immediate police response to the scene even more than what was already coming to the area.
Isn’t it strange how UA-cam guidelines make you say “SA“ when you mean sexual assault, but you can talk about gross kinky bondage that children have never heard of and could perhaps look up after watching this video. You know Ted Bundy said that he blamed being exposed to hard-core pornography at a young age for everything that he did.
It’s hard to believe they got away with this. Unreal.
R.I.P. Robert.
Sir... I just wanna say YOU are responsible for my crime addiction lol... it all started with YOU.. ive seen EVERY SINGLE VIDEO YOUVE EVER POSTED.....Now im hooked... lol THANK YOU!! 🤩🤩
Any 911 caller should be reassured that help is on the way before the 911 operator starts grilling the caller with questions. The caller will more likely answer questions if they know that help is coming instead of feeling like wasting precious time on answering questions!!!
I've always thought that and can¡t think why the dispatchers still don¡t advise that help is on the way while she/he is asking questions, I suppose they think that with so many people watching crime vids we ought to know.
THAT CHAPTER is legit at the top of UA-cam’s narrating channels!!! Mike’s channel has the fastest response time for views and comments! He is absolutely one incredible narrator and his stories NEVER disappoint!!! Thanks for all your hard work!! ❤ 💯
Not a theory, just a comment -- it is very hard to test for GHB in a tox screen. Just because they didn't find it, doesn't mean it wasn't there. I'm not suggesting he was drugged with GHB, I'm just saying there is no way to rule it out. It metabolizes much too quickly, but also, it's not something you would typically inject.
Good thought. I was also contemplating whether they could have injected him with air. Might explain the burst blood vessels in his eyes and possibly other evidence as well. Only speculating.
How would you know..? Got some experience using the substance to incapacitate others do ya?
@@LordOfThePancakesnot him, but I’ve been drugged with GHB myself and it makes you black out and lose control of your muscles. It is scary. Don’t take drinks from strangers.
av injected it before ....
much more potent than drinking it 💯💯
@@LordOfThePancakesI have been watching true crime for decades. There was a rapist in SoCal, a beach city that used GHB. It been covered for 15 years at least. If I remember they sent some samples out of the country for testing.
They used to send some of these toxicology tests to Denmark or Norway as their equipment was better. Technology improves and it depends on the quality of equipment being used.
I was thinking chloroform or nitrous oxide, but I know nothing about how gases register in a tox screen.
Absolutely disgusting, on several levels. Those cops needed strong stomachs for this crap.
It's a job. You do the job the best you can, and leave it in the office.
@@robgrey6183 It's an incredibly hard job. I can't even imagine doing it for a whole day, let alone years! People are quick to shoot their mouths off about cops, and hold them to standards they could probably never come close to achieving themselves, and I guarantee you, most couldn't do the job themselves at all.
Im so happy to see that your channel has blown up. I remember when you had 5000 subs and comented that you should have way more! Glad to see it happen for you. Your story telling feels like chatting with a friend.
Who's to say that they didn't put the night guard in to make it look like he was in bed when he died? We're talking about a high-powered lawyer who would know these things,
Exactly. If it appears they did other stuff to cover themselves (switching the knife, cleaning things, showering, getting rid of the one used), why not this too. Its pretty obvious it would point to an intruder surprising him in his sleep (and I seriously dont believe the "intruder-commits-a-random-act-of murder in a house full of other ppl AND leaves in record time" theory).
I am 100% sure the three of them did some sick stuff to him and then killed him… poor Robert… hope karma “takes care” of them… sick individuals
But we all know for a fact you aren’t 100% sure, so why are you saying 100% sure?
Someone saying "i'm 100% sure" is an opinion. He didn't say "I know it's a fact"...calm down
The way the dispatcher was calling him ma’am
I 100% thought it was a 64 year old woman calling 911
Thanks for being the best true crime case spiller Mike! 😎 + congratulations on 2 million! You deserve it and more. I’ve been watching you since the start and it’s been really freaking cool to see you grow an even bigger audience!!
Congratulations Mike on 2 million, well deserved. Been following you for years and watched the show develop, it's been a great journey so far.
"Every holes a go" I lost it. It never fails. At least once a video Mike delivers a line where I laugh out loud.
Its "every hole is a goal", a well-known quote said by the amazing drag queen Cynthia Lee Fontaine (if I'm not mistaken) but yes, it's a hilarious quote
I choked on my ice cream when I heard it
Justice for Robert!!
WoW....This one will stay with me for a while! Cant really believe that none of those men were charged. Clearly 1 or more of them were involved.
“Gas masks that you could pee into…”
Welp, that’s enough internet for me today! 😂

Kind of crazy that Coffeehouse Crime and That Chapter both reached 2 million followers at almost exactly the same time.

From all of us trying not to watch your videos lastly before dozing off Mike, you're the best.
Victor looked and sounded traumatized, in the 911 phone call, the operator called him 'ma'am' a few times, normally, someone would correct them if they were not in a panic, but sounds like he was in a daze. I can't vouch for the other two, they sounded like they definitely know more.
I love how the detective was like yup, you heard the chime😂😂
"Our friend just died."
The detective with the "He didn't just die" 🔥🔥🔥
It's definitely something I would have said which means it's absolutely NOT a good interrogation technique 😅
lol
I'm a nurse, just wondering if maybe they used succinylcholine. Paralytic agent that they use when they need to intubate someone. It's extremely hard to find on tox screens, and there is only one way to test for it. It leaves the body very quickly, in about an hour.
Congrats with the 2 million mark. I started watching your channel in 2021 while I was sick with covid. Great to see how your channel grew since than.
watching you awkwardly try to explain a thrupple has to be one of the top moments of the year! should of just stopped at "doing each other" haha
It was more awkward watching Mike describe all the sex toys
I liked when he said "in his butt"
Should of? People are so dumb now.
True, they can not imagine auto correction and are calling people they do not know names.
