Hi there Enjoy the video of the C5 Corvette awesome job like to know how long did it take you and what kind of price did you charge for that car I have one a '03 ZO6 also . And if I like my color of my car do you do the invisible clear film and how much would that cost if you can do that and I understand that the plastic or invisible file is stronger than the wrap is that correct Thank you for answering the questions
Usually a sedan vinyl wrap is between 3.5k - 4k and takes a few days to a week to do depending on the difficulty of disassembly. I think you're referring to the clearbra/paint protection film wrap for protection. An entire vehicle is usually around 5k - 6k as the film is a lot more expensive and has a 10 year manufacturer warranty against cracking, peeling, yellowing etc That film comes in gloss or matte only. Check out our instagram to see different examples of those instagram.com/blackouttintingpa/ Thanks for watching!
@@BlackoutTinting Thanks! Any concerns with removal and damage to original paint? Also, my car is white to begin with.. i heard the best base color is black? Thoughts here?
I've been thinking it wrapping mine since Maaco did a shit job on respraying. If i have paint pimples or runs. Is that something I'd need to fix myself it do installers handle that at all?
Is the back and the part where the bumper does a 90 degree to the top and sides get a seam where the bumper meets the trunk and rear quarters. Im wraping mine right now and am trying to figure out just the rear bumper
c5 z06's just remind me too much of the s2000. which is one reason i went with a targa top coup instead and have plans for the motor and stuff basically turn my base model into a higher HP z06
Love you guys from watchin horse power obsessed . It appears you do an amazing job on all your wraps. In regard to color choice I realize it is the customer's selection but I do not understand the fascination with basically primer Gray in the current automotive scene. It is so Bland in comparison to the silver that was on there. To me it's the opposite of bold and merely looks like a 1/2 painted car. Again this is not taking anything away from your Work. I just hate this fascination with bland Gray. Total yuk. Just my opinion.
We didn't understand it either.. but seeing it in person it looked awesome. We do a lot of color flow vinyl wraps and camo, so this was a refreshing change for us.
The C5 turned out great. To each his own, but glad you guys wrapped the rear quarters. Stunning. Save the Wave.🙋🏼♂️
That's the plan!
other guy: 🙋🏼♂️
me: 🙈
white looks so good on these cars
Hell yeah! My buddy had this wrapped. She’s sitting in my garage as I type this 😍👍
they always end up looking better than we expect!
Wow! Unbelievable that there is a c5 I actually love! This color would be sick on my 4runner
Actually? C5 is a great looking car stock. Silly toyota owner.
I have an '04 Z06 in Red. I'd love to have it wrapped in Satin Pearl.
That looks killer!
it turned out great!! thanks
WOW.....ABSOLUTELY AWESOME.....LOVE MY C5 Z06.....TORCH RED OF COURSE BUT THAT TURNED OUT GORGEOUS....
Thank you! We just xpel stealth wrapped a torch red c8, you should check that out.
@@BlackoutTinting Thank you.....i will do that.....
Awsome video.. Love the color
What wheels are those?
The wrap sets them off for sure
What wheels are on this car? What size front and rear? Looks good!
Nice work as usual! Love the attention to detail.
Thanks!
Awesome Video! Just subbed, I do some corvette vids as well but on the older stuff.
Thanks for the sub!

How many years does a wrap last? Looking to change color but preserve the original paint in the mean time
Hi Tom, with proper care you could expect a solid 5 years from a wrap. Without proper cleaning, coating, etc you might only get 1 or 2.
@@BlackoutTinting Thanks! Any concerns with removal and damage to original paint? Also, my car is white to begin with.. i heard the best base color is black? Thoughts here?
@@ThatsBlue422 black is definitely the best to wrap over. If its original paint it should not be a problem

if you can feel it with your hand you will see it with vinyl, best to sand it down before vinyl
By chance do you know how many ft of vinyl were used?
I don't, im sorry! We always just order a full 75ft roll for most cars.
Hi, did you wrap the entire trunk in 1 piece?
The trunk piece is in one, but the roof part is seamed at the body line near the rear glass.
Did you do the rear bumper in one piece or did you inlay the vents?
Inlay
how much did it cost
Around 4k
Nice gloss storm grey correct?
Actually it was Gloss Grey from Avery
Is the rear bumper 1 piece or seamed?
There were a few inlays/seams on this one.

Great job. How long did it take you to complete?
about 20 hours
@@BlackoutTinting 😳 Wow!! Looks incredible. What did this cost?
Starts at 4k
... A blast to drive! Pun intended?
thank you for noticing!

Now that you mention it... it does resemble an s200..

@@BlackoutTinting that's very cool. I guess it's the end result that counts!
You guys are great band did a superb job..however it is a waste of money because of the color.
The original color is better .
Everyone here loved it. It's different. What color do you think the customer should have went with?
