Love all of the "tasteful" mods you've done to the C5 thus far. It looks, sounds, and operates great.....a well sorted C5. Just a suggestion, but a cool follow up video would be to give some total costs associated with each of the upgrades without having to fish through each one again.
I freaking love your channel and especially your car. Probably the nicest c5 I've seen in awhile. It's not over the top like some I've seen. And I'm so glad you didn't go with those black wheels so many guys are using nowadays.
Cool to see a NH-based Vette video. New sub here researching C5's. That Pioneer head unit looks great! That would probably be my first mod too if (or when!) I get a C5
I have a procharged C6 Corvette. It's an 05 with an LS3 transplant. I enjoy your channel and your videos, but I have to say in my opinion the best mod in your car is that shift knob. I have one similar except mine is a cylinder it's not rounded at the top but it makes a huge difference when shifting. I would have never believed it had I not tried it. That is a great looking C5 you have!
Nice! My father used to own a 2002 C5 Z06 that he Procharged as well... He went with a D1SC 10psi Intercooled Procharger. He also had Kooks 1-7/8" LT Headers w/Kooks 3" HF Catted X-Pipe. It had a Custom Dyno Tune. He had custom fabricated 3.0" exhaust piping that was welded into the stock Z06 Mufflers & Quad Tips that he didn't want to replace. These mods were installed in 2003, which was about a year after he bought his Z06 new. Anyway, it also had a FAST 90 Intake Manifold & Throttle Body. A 160 degree T.Stat. A DTE HD 3.90 Rear that he switched to a DTE HD 3.73 Rear because the combo of the shorter Z06 gearing in the first 3 gears + the 3.90's, plus all the extra HP, it was just too steep. The 3.73's were still steep, but matched better and took care of the low end pull while the centrifugal procharger was building up power as the rpm's would rise... Anyway, he had one of the best McLeod Clutch Kits... I can't remember the model... Plus a lighter than stock steel flywheel. He also had a Hurst Shifter. He had other minor mods in the engine, brakes & suspension. On the stock 265 mm wide front & stock 295 mm wide rear Good Year Eagle F1 Supercar Tires, his best 1/4 mile time was 11.02 @ 135.85 mph with a 1.84 60ft. It was hard to get good traction on the stock tires, but still came close to the high 10's. Pretty cool. Unfortunately, somebody speeding and not paying attention crashed into the back of his Z06 before he got to run again with drag radials. He was hurt, but not too badly. His Z06... Destroyed. He did get to do a dyno run with it after the mods... On a Dynojet his Z06 put down... 639 RWHP / 513 RWTQ. That Z06 was an animal! Sorry for the long comment.
Anyone else watching with captions on? Notice how the UA-cam auto caption wasn't sure what to do during the samples of the loudmouth exhaust? It just said [MUSIC]. I thought that was fitting.
Planned on buying a c5 earlier this year. But ended up grabbing an 87 Cadillac brougham, (I know way off the scale) but now I'm looking again and won't bother looking at anything else lol Watch these videos daily and want to relate so badly but can't til I have one 😭 time to make room 👍
Wait until you do a steering wheel position sensor replacement. That'll be a chore. That Pioneer radio is bad ass. I'm using a Kenwood DNX893S and while I like it, it does jut out some, while yours is nice and flush. Thanks for the tip on that paint too, my Metra bezel doesn't quite match up.
I replaced my master cylinder and did the steering wheel position sensor at the same time. Somehow I feel like the SWPS was the easier part! But either way it was a "fun" afternoon! As soon as I drove it though... I wished I had done it MONTHS earlier! Probably my personal favorite fix!
Had the SLP loudmouth on my C5. Sounded like a dump truck rattling around in there. Had to put a x-pipe on to comment down to where it didn't sound like there were rocks in there! Took it off and sold it went with Billy Boat and I love it. Also I would never ever lower a C5 that low it is not practical unless you want to start ripping that pretty new front lip off. Practicality must prevail overlooks. If you live in a pothole area or dip area on the streets you can't lower one like that.
severely modded the first C5, but on the second pumped the brakes and let things be, except the Borla & stereo/phone upgrade. Might do a sound deadening thing though... just trying to relax
Your car sits perfect on those wheels I saw in your best top 5 C5 mods where you said 1.5" spacer in the back is it exactly 1.5"? I would really like to get my C6 wheels sitting perfectly like yours
Your Lights are Amazing. I would buy them Instant. Sadly i life in Germany and Light Tuning is forbidden in Germany. If you get stop by the Cops with that Lights they instant Shut Down your Car.
You are young and will learn. 1-If it’s not broke don’t fix it. 2- Add on as you will but the end result you still have an Old Vette. 3- If you want newer functions move up to a newer car. 4- Mods do not evaluate into more return on selling.🤔
All your points point to someone who is into cars for a completely different reason than him. it’s about making the car your own not about resell or just buying something new.
Here's a follow-up video with all the costs of these upgrades! ua-cam.com/video/_maQaJVJms0/v-deo.html
How does the front splitter mount? Tape or drilling?

That splitter would get ripped right off the car with the roads around where I live.
I freaking love your channel and especially your car. Probably the nicest c5 I've seen in awhile. It's not over the top like some I've seen. And I'm so glad you didn't go with those black wheels so many guys are using nowadays.
I always loved the way the black zo6 wheels looked but it really is overdone on c5 builds
In my opinion, the c5 looks x10 better with the c6 rims then the c6 does.
considering purchasing a c5 this summer 2022 and your video has helped alot.
It works. And C6 wheels look right. I have them as an option on a 90 454ss Chevy truck with milled hub centric adapters. Acommodates a 305 tire. Win.
Dude.....I hear you like the word AMAZING ! Lol. Other then that, good job on the video and on your Vette.
Love the Vette Bro! Keep pumping out the C5 vids!
You've made that car look great!!! Thanks for the ideas!!!
When it comes to mods, I like to keep it simple, just the way you do, great informative video, keep doing what your passion leads you do
i have s l p loud mouth with A R H headers sounds amazing as does yours..

Thank you
Really good looking C5
Anyone else watching with captions on? Notice how the UA-cam auto caption wasn't sure what to do during the samples of the loudmouth exhaust?
It just said [MUSIC].
I thought that was fitting.

Probably my personal favorite fix!
What tires size are you running and whats the rear spacer size??
Keep it going looks great!
Loving your C5 videos! I’m shopping for one currently for me and my son to work on.
You’re mad funny bro 😂

How do I get one of those shirts?? I love it.
Right here! drivehubshop.com/listing/madma?product=46
Is the Panasonic stereo a direct fit and does it fit in the stock dash trim?
Great Job Brother! Thumbs up from me as usual... Stay safe... Rico
severely modded the first C5, but on the second pumped the brakes and let things be, except the Borla & stereo/phone upgrade. Might do a sound deadening thing though... just trying to relax
What is the exact spacer measurements? Also what tires sizes are you running with the C6 wheels? Just picked up a set my self.
40mm spacer
Buying mine today. 2000 C5
The summit racing damper is good stuff too.
Friend of mine spun and ATI HB. The best HBs are made by elite engineering
Yellow calipers ? Ain't working for me
Hey Jake, Suspension question. What suspension package did your car come with stock?
Your car sits perfect on those wheels I saw in your best top 5 C5 mods where you said 1.5" spacer in the back is it exactly 1.5"? I would really like to get my C6 wheels sitting perfectly like yours
40mm
Putting the LED on an older ride doesn’t give you any issues with heating? No issues at all?
LEDs would be cooler than stock, they use much less current.
NIce work.... better unit is the ( JOYING 1.5 DIN ) installed in my car... video coming soon ...if wanna see pics let me know
Gotta change the high mount too imo
Any suggestions on sun visor replacement?
I saw a thread on Corvette forum a guy did a sun visor replacement updating with sun visors from a C7 Vette.
Awesome 😎
should not have lowered it. It is very likely you will rip apart your rear quarters, then what?
The ATI Super balancer is the best mod I've done to my C5... One less thing to worry about...lol...
What do i have to chose to make my taillights like yours
Beautiful c5! Do you happen to know the wheel/tire specs?
Nice looking C5. One mod you haven’t done, is dark tinted windows.
Illegal in lots of places
Lovely car
Did you feel a boost in power/torque when you had the Super Damper installed?
I love your c5, I love mind the same way
Beautiful vette
What size hub centric spacers to install c6 wheels flush?
3/4 inch spacers rear ! Front fits perfectly no spacers needed
Where you in rush to change the linkage in your car
Love the C5!
What is the color on this called?
Your Lights are Amazing. I would buy them Instant. Sadly i life in Germany and Light Tuning is forbidden in Germany. If you get stop by the Cops with that Lights they instant Shut Down your Car.
“It’s insane.”
My harmonic balancer got fucked up too
Front splitter will crack like an egg
First thing id have done is rollcage
Stay awkward... It's called entertainment. Soooo many snoozer youtubers. Keep it up!
You should get and X pipe! They sound amazing!
How to prevent scraping this shit out of the front of this car?? 😂
Paint it a different color!! Is that Off-Puke?? Yeah, make a change plz.
What color is your C5?
Save the manuals!!
Im telling you man.. You NEED to change the seats.. Easily the best way to change how it feels driving the car. The C5/C6 seats are ass
"Bi" headlights. Ok. I"m not judging.
Best mod I ever did was add a fm Bluetooth to the charging port $25 👍
Get some seats
Awh dude your Nose ain't That Big... but those rattle can brake calipers.....ugh.....
Man...now that you mention it, you do have a really large nose. Almost Pinocchio size. None the less cool car bro.
Why is your nose so big?
You are young and will learn. 1-If it’s not broke don’t fix it. 2- Add on as you will but the end result you still have an Old Vette. 3- If you want newer functions move up to a newer car. 4- Mods do not evaluate into more return on selling.🤔

Yawn...
Thanks for watching
Remember everything is insane and amazing
The wheels are awful
