Dr. Harris left out an important detail- the gallbladder doesn't just store bile, it also concentrates it to make it more effective. The common bile duct does not do this. Even though most doctors are unaware of it (ours was not aware), you absolutely CAN dissolve cholesterol gallstones naturally (I have), and keep your gallbladder as long as you don't have a medical emergency that drives you to a cholecystectomy, such as a stone stuck long term in your cystic duct or common bile duct (which could cause cholecystitis or choledocholithiasis). Acording to a WSES study, only 15% of those with biliary cholic, if left untreated, go on to develop cholecystitis. If you have biliary cholic (and not cholecystitis) that should be a warning sign to stop what you're doing and dissolve your gallstones (not necessarily remove the gallbladder if it's still fine). Supplements such as TUDCA (which is over the counter but has similar efficacy to the prescription UDCA / Ursodiol that gastroenterologists use to dissolve gallstones), Rowachol, Chanca Piedra, Lecithin, Turmeric, Milk Thistle, Cod Liver Oil and drinking lots of water, will all work in conjunction to thin and increase bile flow, thus dissolving gallstones over time, while you eat a bland low-fat diet to keep your gallbladder from contracting, so that you don't trigger biliary cholic. The process can take many months depending on your stones. There are many studies in Pubmed which demonstrate the efficacy of those supplements. Do your own research. Make your own decisions. It's also helpful if you own an ultrasound machine so you can keep an eye on the stones and their progress. While you can live without your gallbladder, it's far from ideal as you will have poor fat absorption and thus poor absorption of vitamins such as A D E and K, without taking bile salts to help, not to mention the ~$20k cost for the surgery...
@@truthseeker4226 Yes they worked for me. They worked for my wife too, except she ended up with acute pancreatitis, which as I mentioned is a potential complication if the stones you break up get stuck in the bile duct as they pass.

Same here I've been to the E.R for pain right side under rib cage. Always treated for acid reflux one time a ultrasound reveiled sludge in my gallbladder . Dr called in surgical team because I needed surgery just to get told I don't again acid reflux diagnosis. Now 3yrs later had a ultrasound by my gastroenterologist and I need surgery 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦

I had gallstones in January of 2021. It was the worst pain I’ve ever had in my life and didn’t know what is wrong with me. I had to have my gallbladder removed and since then I’ve been much better but am still affected if I eat fatty foods. I can no longer eat anything fried. So I’ve adjusted my diet. I also had a gallstone in my bile duct as well. That was causing most of my problems. I’m feeling so much better nowadays.
This is an extremely informative video. I've been watching it while sitting here in obscene pain and chugging water. I find chugging 1-2 bottles of water clears up any gallbladder pain.
Ansolutely not, the pain can become almost unbearable, nothing helps to reduce it, no position changes it, and it can make you throw up, and it goes on for hours on end, most people would not term that 'little'.
It was so bad & im 21 weeks pregnant, I had to go to the ER & got my gallbladder removed. There was nothing I could do to take the pain away myself, it felt like I was being stabbed. And then my pregnancy is struggling in other ways too 😭 ugh I can’t wait for it to be over
Yes! I caught that wording too!! My "little" episode Last night it was 7 hours closer to 8 and vomiting and diarrhea and pain so bad and no position would take it away and I couldn't sleep. .. It happened overnight like 11:00 p.m. till almost 7:00 a.m. And I've never prayed so much for my own self and for it to go away!! There ain't nothing little about it
Had my gallbladder removed last month. Had emergency Gallbladder removal because I also had gallbladder stones stuck in my bile duct between my liver. My eyes, and face was turning yellow was starting to turn into liver failure pretty scary! Had to have the gallstones remove out of the bile duct.
My gallbladder was removed in 1997. Key hole method. I had a single large stone 2.2 centimeters in diameter. First attack was while my family and I was on vacation to Florida. I assumed it was something bad I ate along the way. After throwing up, I felt much better! I have no problems living without it.
Literally just put the phone down from my ultrasound results today and I've been told I have gallstones . Some comments here have been really helpful in learning how to reduce them. Thanks everyone. Just need to work out a slight diet change now as I can't see a doctor till next week

if that doesn't work and you have a attack take Advil on a empty stomach to make it work faster, if you are desperate enough force yourself to vomit then take it, probably not the healthiest option, but it will definitely kick in quicker

Gallbladder attacks are the worse. I had one so bad that I went to the ER. At the time I didn't know it was an attack. My gallbladder swelled to the size of a grapefruit & was about to rupture. They did emergency surgery the next day. My daughter was only one month old.
I agree.i was doubled over in pain and had taken myself to the er and was diagnosed with gallbladder disease.the attacks are extreme and if you don't catch it in time you can have severe attacks and possible death.

Yeah. It’s bad. It basically doubles you over. You can’t do anything except sit with a heating pad (pain meds if in hospital) until it goes away which usually takes 8-12 hours. I take a sleeping pill and sleep through it. Just happened yesterday 😢 I’ve recently discovered digestive enzymes specifically the ones from Whole Foods work amazing juto eat a low-fat diet. Take these with every meal and you should have less attacks. Exercise is also key and skins of apples. What else? Lots of water no soda not too much sugary stuff too. It gets stored into fat and then go to get a lipid panel. A full lipid panel also a full blood test this will let you know if the not absorbing fat or over absorbing fat or whatever problem you have with your gallstones or gallbladder is preventing certain vitamins to not be absorbed, for instance have a vitamin D deficiency Directly related to gallbladder problems-even though my doctor said it’s not, but I’ve been doing a lot of research and how can it not be because I don’t eat a lot of fat because I can’t the smallest amount of fat makes me have an attack spicy food be aware so I basically became a pescatarian focused a lot on Whole Foods. Dark leafy greens all the vegetables, salmon, low res diet on iffy days, fruits (berries) whole grains and fiber, low fat yogurt, soy milk…etc. take a probiotic and digestive enzymes along with a peppermint tummy tamer. I eat at home and if I do eat out it’s always I’m allergic to dairy and butter.
What about the bile concentration action of gallbladder after gallbladder removal surgery? Wouldn’t it affect digestion? Because post surgery bile from the liver will directly reach into the duodenum without being concentrated.
@@teymyneytor Thanks. I'll look into it. I've had this problem over 2 years. I take pain meds when it gets unbearable. But the good news is that after numerous extreme pain episodes they seem to be lessening. The Gastrologist I saw admitted that I probably passed some stones. So let it be known if you can make it thru the pain with a few pain meds you can pass stones and perhaps resolve the problem and keep your gall bladder. Of course this may not work with larger stones. They said mine were a whole string of small ones. A sonogram can detect the size of the stones. Or a MRI. A CT scan however is a dangerous procedure exposing you to high levels of radiation. Could lead to cancer. Hope this info helps someone!
I had gallbladder issues for over a year. For reasons not relating to this, I started taking fairly large amounts of vitamin B. Shortly thereafter my gallbladder stopped acting up. Can it be that the liver works better with lots of vitamin B? Which then helps the bile to get stronger, and dissolve the stones? It sure worked for me. Any studies on this? I think the gallbladder is a very important organ, that should not be removed, unless it threatens your life. I felt like crap when mine did not work properly. It is very hard for the body to take up fat soluble vitamins without a functioning gallbladder, and that can lead to serious conditions, because of malnutrition. I hope this was helpful for somebody out there! Try high doses of vitamin B, but keep it within reason!

I get maybe, 1 attack a year, due to fatty foods that I should avoid. Cream cheese, butter, are the culprits. . In three years I had two gallstone attacks. First thing I do is soak in a hot bath for about 30-45 mins. Sleep on my left side, if the pain is still around, go back for a second hot bath, 30mins. The pain is much less, and goes away after 2 painful hours. I drink one cup of caffeinated coffee in the morning, for me, the caffein helps my gallbladder from attacks. There's a medication called Ursodiol, that shrinks certain stones, however, my doctor doesn't want me to take this medication, he wants me to remove my gallbladder, I told him to Foff. Even with your gallbladder removed, you could still have pain, from bile leakage. If you have pain on a regular basis, then go ahead and remove your gallbladder. In my case, 2 attacks in three years, I'll keep my bladder, be careful what I eat, and make sure to drink my cup of joe early in the morning.

I think you need to have your gallbladder. Is there anyway of getting them dissolved. I have had them since i was first pregnant 26yrs ago, very wary of getting it done Mine are all over my gallbladder and there's thousands like sand
Can one of the doctors please tell me why you cannot surgically remove the gallstones but leave the Gallbladder in place? It seems that Gallbladder removal can cause all kinds of issues including bowel cancer. My mother had IBS after gallbaldder removal and leter in life developed bowel cancer which killed her. The explanation I was given as to why they don't surgically remove just the stones was that they would return. However, in older people in their middle age or above, if it's taken over 50+ yrs to develop them, then the chances of them redeveloping before they die again seems unlikely in most cases especially if they developed in part because of a poor fatty diet which is then modified for a healthier diet later. So why can't just the stones be removed if the patient is middle aged or above? It seems ludicris that surgeons remove the whole gall bladder with the risks of IBS / Bowel cancer etc when a simple removal of the stones would be likely to offer a lifetime cure. BTW I'm talking about stones here that are too large for ultrasound or dissolution treatments.
I dont understand all this talk of "deep pain or dull pain" what seems to happen to me. I'm fine 1 min them I feel a slight pain in my chest. It starts out like a pretty moderate case of heartburn. I can feel it in my back if its going to escalate from there. I can pin point a spot in my back it feels like a spike has been driven in. Then pain goes up to about "middle of the night leg cramp level" as it get worse it will go all the way up to feeling like I have a kidney stone in my heart. Rolling around in the floor pain. 1st time it was followed by throwing up blood and blacking out. Hospitalized for a week. Tests ran hourly it seemed like. Then it got better for a few years. Now it has all came back and I cant understand why no one will remove it.
That's not butting in at all my friend. I will have to take a look. Maybe it will help me as well. Thank you very much for posting. I was sure there were ways to avoid some of my problems. Im up for anything and will look into it further for sure. Thanks again

She started back in late 2019 throwing up alot after she would eat it just got worse from there then in Feb of 2020 she decided then to go to her doctor right before covid was breaking out . They ran ultra sound on her it was good then CT scan of gall bladder it was good so then I had to begg them to do a Hydascan cause I wanted to know what the function was of her gall bladder sure enough it showed her gall bladder was only functioning at only 20% by March 12th we finally got in to see a specialist but he said even though she was puking constantly that she would be fine . It was crazy I was like she's puking her guts out man ! so march 17th I became symptomatic and we had gotten covid I'm pretty sure we got it from his office, it hammerd us both hard taking me 46 days to get over and her 21 . So because of our long battle with covid 2 years ago now she just hasn't been back to her doctor about it since . These 2 years has been tough with her vomiting on and off constantly. But now this past week she's been disoriented and hurting above her belly button and to her right side and running a fever for 7 straight days now . We know it's not covid as you done know yourself it makes you feel so freaking awful you don't need a test to tell you that you have it . Anyway I'm just concerned that she might have a infection going on in her body due to her gall bladder and that's what's causing the fever .

Gul Zada hi try to detox your gall bladder by drinking half cup of lime or lemon juice mix with half cup of olive oil .Drink it in nighttime before bed around 9- 10 pm . Note: Don’t eat anything solid food 8 hours before you drink the mixture.
Great info!
Good information.. may I know if you have tried this and if all these supplements had worked for you or someone whom you know..
@@truthseeker4226 Yes they worked for me. They worked for my wife too, except she ended up with acute pancreatitis, which as I mentioned is a potential complication if the stones you break up get stuck in the bile duct as they pass.

I had to have my gallbladder removed and since then I’ve been much better but am still affected if I eat fatty foods. I can no longer eat anything fried. So I’ve adjusted my diet. Yeah, that's not how it feels, my highly educated bro.
Ansolutely not, the pain can become almost unbearable, nothing helps to reduce it, no position changes it, and it can make you throw up, and it goes on for hours on end, most people would not term that 'little'.

Thanks for the totally amazing videos.
Yeah.

As far as resuming a normal diet, that is untrue. My friend had hers removed and now she cannot eat lettuce at all. It causes severe diarrhea.
I wouldnt say its untrue. Everybody's different. Post surgery I can eat a lot of fatty foods pain-free (the same foods that grew my stone)
Try high doses of vitamin B, but keep it within reason!

some people say they fixed by managing their diet..
People please do your homework BEFORE the surgeons talk you into something you might regret for the rest of your life! Seems ALL doctors love to pul gallbladders and they will tell you any lie to get your permission. "You don't need it" "You'll never miss it" "Once it's out you can eat anything" Not at all truthful. Of the 750,000 gallbladder surgeries annually, 40% of patients will have HORRIFIC side effects termed "PCS" no matter the skill of the surgeon.

Did anyone who had gallstones suffer with flank/ waist pain on the right hand side.
i think i have gallstones because i lost weight so fast and when i eat fatty meals my stomach would start hurting
Thank you for this
Lovely video content! Excuse me for chiming in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you researched - Parlandealey Escaping Gallstone Process (probably on Google)? It is a smashing exclusive product for learning how to eliminate Gallstones naturally minus the normal expense. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my friend finally got excellent success with it.

I think you need to have your gallbladder. Is there anyway of getting them dissolved. I have had them since i was first pregnant 26yrs ago, very wary of getting it done

Take Ursodeoxyholic acid tablets to remove gall bladder stone without surgery.
I can't have my gallbladder removed because of other health issues. Does anybody know what foods are safe to eat if you have the same problem?
. look up Dr Josh Axe or Dr Eric Berg videos on youtube about the gallbladder.

Admiral Akbar I’m 15 and I got my gall bladder removed the pain was terrible it was all over my body but that’s because I had 2 cm gall stones
Just do this whether you have stone or not, that will take care all your guts. I got Gallstones and have 2 friends had gallstones, they took 1 tbsp coconut oil mixed with 8 oz Apple juice every morning before any food, their stones gone. I started 5 days ago hopefully mine are gone too in a month, I'll demand another ultrasound test next month to find out. if it works I'll start my own channel to let the whole world know.

Is it possible for a gall bladder attack to dramatically increase BP?
Pain usually increases your blood pressure
Turns out I have very vivid dreams and it was causing my BP to spike very high in the morning. They put me on "Prazosin" and it seems to be working well. I've also lost about 15 pounds and that's helping.
As far as resuming a normal diet, that is untrue. My friend had hers removed and now she cannot eat lettuce at all. It causes severe in planet ayurveda.
I got ripped off by a John Hopkins medical center. Neither the insurance, nor John Hopkins cared to help do anything about the corruption in the hospital! Other-wise, the info here is probably good.

Dr. Please do guide me about gallbladder polyps....I have a 3mm polyp since one year and its not increasing....but I consistently having gastric issues such as heart burn and IBS
Muhammad Adnan Qureshi I do also have a 2.5 mm polyp on my GB, basically the same size as yours, they represent no danger unless they grow up to 1cm or more, get an ultrasound every year and check it out.
Hello Muhammad, I am also in the same position as you. I have no gallstones, but I do have a 2mm polyp (not changing size currently). Generally, small polyps like this do not cause problems. However, I also have very severe digestive problems (nausea, frequent vomiting, right upper quadrant pain). If you find something that helps or end up getting surgery, please let us know how it goes!
I had mine removed today and I'm still healing
I'm having mine removed next week 6/27/99.
Can you prevent gallstones?
I drink water, but take calcium
Citrate, do not eat fried foods
Normally.Does Oil's play a factor, like butter? Or Mayonaise?
Yes mayonnaise is the worse. Also for pancreas.
Birth control pills.
3-4 teaspoon apple cider vinegar + Apple juice (pure pressed if possible) + turmeric = pain gone. Thank me later.
Rab Indra I’m going to try it. Got nothing to lose. Thanks !
@Elizabeth Miller: to thin out your bile, drink beet, carrot and celery juice. Artichoke hearts are great for thinning out bile as well.

my brother is in the hospital right now with gi problems. he is unable to eat a proper meal and is not passing stool normally. they are running tests today.
He is on pain medication on a four hour regimen and if this regimen is interrupted the pain is released and his body starts to convulse and waves of severe pain starting in the rectum travels up through into his intestines. i was visiting him yesterday after he had an mri. his pain medication was interrupted by the mri procedure and also he had to hold his breath during it. when i was visiting him, 20-30 minutes after his mri his severe pain set in and his body was going through convulsions with severe child birth like pain. it was almost as if his body was trying to expel one of his organs from the way it looked. this pain lasted for four hours until finally another dose of his pain meds got it under control.
please, please, please if anyone has any experience they would like to share or advice im all ears!
First off how is your brother doing now ? I pray he's better my girl friend has been having problems for about 3 years now but now she's been running a fever for like 6 days? Did he run a fever with his any ?
@@davenstorm7271 he is doing much better thank you for your prayers!. his gi totally healed from almost all the ulcers but its still sensitive and sometimes theres still blood in his stool. a doctor gave him antibiotics for a spider bite and it basically killed all the good bacteria in his gi. the protective lining in his gi was hurt and ulcers formed and caused him immense pain for many months. he healed up pretty well last summer and has been ok since!
im sorry to hear about your girlfriend. i will pray for her…
a fever you say? its hard to say, he had a really really rough few months from august 2020-December 2020. his symptoms appeared feverish at times. he had a large ulcer on his illeocecal valve that would cause those hours of intense, incapacitating pain if he got too stressed or miss timed taking his medication. has your girlfriend been tested for covid? i had a terrible fever and the worst headache i had to go with it for several days back in august 2020, might of been covid. i still had my sense of taste and smell though and breathed fine, just a terrible fever and head ache.
…i never seen someone suffer like that intensely for such a long and would never wish that on anyone.
@@Soviless99 Thank you so much for getting back to me ! My goodness your brother has been through alot wow that's horrible I pray he continues to improve and do well and I thank you for your prayers for her !
@@davenstorm7271 did she ever get an endoscopy? to check the lining of her stomach? my brother also had ulcers there
@@Soviless99 no they never did one on her. I argued for a hydascan . They wanted to do one
