Finally, a clip that gives Justin Baldoni credit for this movie instead of Blake Lively. It's so sad to watch Lively destroy Baldoni's reputation and ruin his ability to earn a living for his family now. If she's lying, I hope she is forced to pay every cent in Justin's lawsuit and issue a public apology on the front page of the NY Times.
What an Amazing human being!💕 So serene, genuine, sincere responses on the true value of this movie. The movie’s purpose = to help women of DV find strength and hope and give men an opportunity of self reflection and accountability on their own bad behaviors due to traumas. Not only is Justin Baldoni a class act, but so insightful, humble, self aware, eloquent, profound and intelligent. He gave so much respect and value to Blake and others, stepping back to allow collaboration and creativity. He did not deserve what has happened, but being a man of integrity, faith and truth…at the end justice will prevail! Stick to your truth and values Justin! You are an example for all of the egocentric, shallow, narcissistic Hollywood B listers wannabe A listers by stealing others hard work, and trying destroy a man of principle and character. 💯 Team Justin 👏🏻👏🏻
Maybe he's too nice ... nice people rouses the predatory instincts of power hungry people to bully them into submission .. "But I could have told you, Vincent, this world's never meant for one as beautiful as you ..."
My heart breaks for him. What he is going through and still being so strong and able to speak well of Blake. After how she treated him, stole his movie from him, and tried to erase him from it. I hope he gets his flowers 💐 . I too would love to see his cut
Getting out of an abusive relationship has been one of the biggest accomplishments in my life. Thankfully I found a guy who has been patient with me and help me through moments when my PTSD has been triggered. This movie was a reminder of what I was able to overcome. Anyone who has been through it you know just how strong you have to be to get out. I honestly thought that I would never get out. But God is good and with his help I was able to see that my staying there was not me loving me. Such a touching film!
I watched the movie last night and it did trigger past feelings of my own DM in a past relationship. I cried, closed my eyes and looked away a few times. My daughter held my hand and told me we could leave if I wanted to. But I was glad I went and watched it with my daughter. After the movie we talked about it and about DV. I was also glad the sex scenes & DV scenes were not as gráficas as other movies are. It could of definitely gone to another level and I’m glad it didn’t. Yes both men & women need to get help and heal so we don’t keep hurting ourselves/others or stay in toxic relationships. Sometimes you are better parents apart.
He seems like such a deep reflective human being, i would love to know what happened on set that the entire crew decided to not take photos with him or go on the press tour together. He is one of the main characters. Kind a unprofessional from the others i feel.
i believe when you are as high frequency as this man is you will absolutely trigger those who are living in a lower frequency. hateful worldly bullies could never achieve this sort of inner peace so they attack attack attack. the truth always comes to light thank God for that!
my guess is Blake wanted things her way (perhaps more romcom vs focusing more on the DV issue) this divide is very evident if you watch Blake's interviews vs his interviews on this press tour. And Blake being the producer, having the Hollywood clout, a famous & rich husband, probably influenced the rest of the cast to side with her vs this relatively newcomer director. She gives off queenbee vibes and someone who wants to be the center of attention always (saying this bc she never gets along w her main costars, Leighton Meester from GG, Anna Kendrick from A simple favor, and now this guy. Also find it interesting she's never seen hanging w Selena Gomez even tho her BFF in the whole wide world lol, TSwift, is best friends w Selena. Ofc you dont get along w all your friends friends.. but it's another example that adds to this assumption).
@@trendylova I think you’re so right. I think it could have been even better if they would have taken the other route ( DV). Not just the love story that was still missing something.
@@lasantuzza777 I think the following quote from Denzel Washington is quite fitting: “Some people will never like you because your spirit irritates their inner demons."
It's nice to see how responsible and human he is in his approach to this movie. He isn’t just talking about the glamour or outfits; he's having real conversations about the subject matter, bringing it to the table, and saying, 'This is an uncomfortable topic-let's talk about it.' I just feel like the shit he's getting isn't justified. The movie he directed was hijacked, and as an act of grace, he 'stepped aside,' but I can't help feeling like he shouldn't have had to. Yes, a woman's voice, such as Blake Lively's, may have been important, but when your voice starts to drown out others and you make something that’s about DV and the trauma it causes about you, then it's fair for me to say something isn’t right here, and there's a lot more to this that we aren't seeing. Someone is painting a narrative about this man, and I am proud that he has kept his integrity through it all.
His premier night was in the basement. Thank you very much. He cared for this message and wanted to do justice to the victims then here comes BL and her 🙄 and here we are.
I hope he learns from this. People DO take kindness for weakness. Own your work and never let someone over-rule your own vision. You are the Director...direct. Ironically a film about physical ab*se...the co-star BL...is showcasing emotional ab*se IN REAL LIFE...towards a man. I hope he learns women can be ab*sers too...and ab*se isnt just towards women...but men too. BL is obsessed with the me-2 era...her Ego shows this
Im sure like any other job in the world there can be drama when people work together. But the way he speaks about Blake is taking the high road if there was drama. People love the gossip and lots of times we only get pieces of it and run with it when we don’t know all the details. I like the way he speaks in his interviews especially that he speaks against domestic violence! Bring it to the light where it should be
I never saw the show "Jane the Virgin" so I was not familiar with Justin Baldoni's work and hadn't seen much of Blake Lively's work either. I also have not read the book that It Ends With Us. I saw the trailor of the movie at another movie and it looked interesting so I decided to go see it. Shortly before seeing it, I heard about the controversy that is surrounding the movie with it's two stars. My friend and I enjoyed the movie and thought the actors played their parts well and that the movie served the issue of DV well. Since seeing the movie, I have seen some clips of the movie's promotion and to be honest, I felt that Ms. Lively took the wrong path in how she promoted it and Mr. Baldoni took the appropriate path in giving the seriousness that a movie about DM deserves. After seeing this interview, I have to say that Mr. Baldoni impressed me with his intelligence, articulate manner, humility and compassion. I look forward to his future endeavors.
Now with this whole Blake horror… I definitely need to see Baldoni’s version of the movie since I’m sure it’s more based on the book vs Blake’s rewrites.
Justin Baldoni is handling all this ordeal with class, dignity. I am so disappointed to BL and even Jason who’s obviously taking her side. It was so wrong to promote her alcohol line and beauty line at the same time. I feel bad for Justin because the group of mean girls have excluded him but I’m sure he could handle it.
So thankful for Directors like Justin Baldoni because issues like this must never be put under the rug ever. And Blake Lively wow So beautifully done and yet so very sad how women have to switch moods and walk on thin ice just so the abuser doesn’t snap but the reality is that they do and we pay for something that has nothing to do with us…🎬❤️💃🏻💙🎥
Saw this movie last night and it was so thought provoking. Everything fits into place perfectly, from the younger days actors, to the music and the final choice. Bravo!!! a must see!
A wonderful interview. Justin you nailed it in the complexity of the situation and the question as to why the question should be asked why are they the abuser rather than why is the abused staying, Can’t wait to see what you do next!
This film really speaks to me internally On so many levels I know by living it to survive the trama torture and being a true overcomer and to persevere I loved it but it was bittersweet I’m so hopeful he Justin does do the sequel
there is two sided story. I noticed alot of people dont like Blakey, but not listening to her side story first before accusing her. it is so sad. We have to wait until next year when we know the truth.
Im always down to watch movies justin brings out and i dont know what justin does but it leaves a deep impression and the takeaway from the movie. The reason im even interested in this film/book not because of the actors but because of this director Justin baldoni
I adored this film. I actually knew nothing about it, had not read the book or seen a trailer, I had no expectations and wasn’t that familiar with many of the cast. But I though it was a wonderful but shocking story, so many highs and lows, acted beautifully by all involved. Sad to see there is drama behind the scenes, hopefully everyone can move past this and be super proud of the final result ❤
He tried to give her space so she could bring female perspective but she ends up taking over and kicking him out. She uses it to promote her hair brand, then promote her husband, promote her husband's movie.
"We have enough people in this world judging women for staying in these relationships." YES! This. I was in one myself for four years. . . . and also. My own mother took my abuser's side when I finally got up the courage to leave him, saying he "looked so sad" - sure, Ma, he was so "sad" that he ended up stalking me until I got a protective order against him. Covert narcissism is a hell of a drug. So which is it: bully the victim or pity the abuser? We're typically served up a cocktail of both in this day and age. The classic "can't win" force is strong in this arena. I commend this man for trying to make a movie that spoke to survivors of DV *and* to educate the general public about the gray areas that aren't often illuminated. He seems to truly understand the nuance and depth this issue demands; others involved CLEARLY did not.
If you read the messages as Lively/Reynolds are cornering him, trapping him, and dismantling his role as director he is continually and overtly choosing to take the high road. I hope it helps him take back his life as they have stolen his project, but now also his reputation, and his career. Everything he’s built is crumbling away. She better have a pile of evidence to justify her actions, and I don’t think she will.
I love your heart, Justin! Can't wait to see and experience this powerful film. Thank you for telling stories that matter and make a difference. Many blessings bro!
Blake Lively didn't even take the film seriously. She didn't even promote it properly, she promoted herself. Yet she wanted complete control of the filmmaking. She is not a good person at all. Justice for Baldoni.

We just need more people (and men specifically) like Justin Baldoni in our world!!❤❤
He is a freaking breath of fresh air and so genuine!
The comments speaks for itself. He is a class act and comes across as very authentic
Justin is such a class act guy! I truly respect his honesty and vulnerability he brings into every project. It’s super cool to see someone’s passion transform into a project that creates conversations amongst the masses.
ugh his response starting at 8:27 is phenomenal. i love his vision and take. I wish he actually had full creative freedom as he should have.
How handsome, eloquent, creative and brilliant is he.
Wow, what an amazing interview. Loved him in “Jane the Virgin” but now I have a new level of respect for him as an actor, director and person. I haven’t seen this movie yet and already I understand everything he talked about, every concept and experience that he hasn’t gone through. But the way he speaks on behalf of those women going through this on a daily basis is just absolutely beautiful and ridiculously relatable! What a genius of a person he is. You can tell he really understands the topic even if he’s never lived through this himself. Brilliantly delivered! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I DIDN'T REALIZE THAT WAS RAFAEL!
I love that his focus is on the women and how real it is. His time lapses make so much more sense than the book.
So genuine human being! Lovable person, honest , humble, and so handsome!
Maybe he's too nice ... nice people rouses the predatory instincts of power hungry people to bully them into submission ..
"But I could have told you, Vincent, this world's never meant for one as beautiful as you ..."
@@88feji Very insightful! I believe this to be true. Too nice attracts narcissists.
Many words that he said made me tear up. Thank you for acknowledged what many women go through. I truly believe this movie will change lives forever.
How can you watch this movie if you lived through this ? Im not sure i want to be reminded what i lived through.
I lived through it with 5 children. This book and this film are a healing balm. @@thesnoopydance645
He’s such a gentlemen’s. A deeply caring person for humanity!❤
Justin's words are so beautiful.
He seems like such a deep reflective human being, i would love to know what happened on set that the entire crew decided to not take photos with him or go on the press tour together.
He is one of the main characters. Kind a unprofessional from the others i feel.
Cast - not crew. The crew is releasing videos talking about how amazing he is
i believe when you are as high frequency as this man is you will absolutely trigger those who are living in a lower frequency. hateful worldly bullies could never achieve this sort of inner peace so they attack attack attack. the truth always comes to light thank God for that!
my guess is Blake wanted things her way (perhaps more romcom vs focusing more on the DV issue) this divide is very evident if you watch Blake's interviews vs his interviews on this press tour.
He isn’t just talking about the glamour or outfits; he's having real conversations about the subject matter, bringing it to the table, and saying, 'This is an uncomfortable topic-let's talk about it.'
I just feel like the shit he's getting isn't justified.
Blake and Ryan envy him. They know that his star will rise one day way past them and they can’t handle it. Plus they are bullies at heart
Justin, i feel so seen by your words and actions. Thank you.
Such a class act. Even though seems like Blake's PR is trying to smear his reputation, he is being very dignified
Team Justin 1000%
Love a man who speaks so highly of women
He was phenomenal in the movie 😍😍🥰
Surprised this hasn’t had more views since everything that’s happened
His premier night was in the basement. Thank you very much. He cared for this message and wanted to do justice to the victims then here comes BL and her 🙄 and here we are.
I hope he learns from this. People DO take kindness for weakness. Own your work and never let someone over-rule your own vision. You are the Director...direct. Ironically a film about physical ab*se...the co-star BL...is showcasing emotional ab*se IN REAL LIFE...towards a man. I hope he learns women can be ab*sers too...and ab*se isnt just towards women...but men too. BL is obsessed with the me-2 era...her Ego shows this
Wow! He is an amazing actor. After what was done to him & the claims against him he took still took the high road. I hope he wins his case.
I would love to see the director's cut. Sony, help us with that, pleaseeee
Bring it to the light where it should be
JUSTICE FOR JUSTIN!!
Eloquent, genuine and humble ❤
Justin is beyond amazing. 🤩
You are amazing ❤this is thr first time i see a man cares for the DV survivors than a woman (blake lively )!!!!!
So thankful for Directors like Justin Baldoni because issues like this must never be put under the rug ever. And Blake Lively wow So beautifully done and yet so very sad how women have to switch moods and walk on thin ice just so the abuser doesn’t snap but the reality is that they do and we pay for something that has nothing to do with us…🎬❤️💃🏻💙🎥
Only a DEMON would go after this man. What a beautiful soul he is. 💖
Great actor, hope to see more of your movie. Please continue doing a good film.
The way he talks in interviews shows that he really cares about this film, what it means to DV victims and survivors and its impact on the audience❤
What a director! Bravo and actor bravo,bravo!!!!!, 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
This film really speaks to me internally On so many levels I know by living it to survive the trama torture and being a true overcomer and to persevere I loved it but it was bittersweet I’m so hopeful he Justin does do the sequel
Lively picked the wrong man to accuse. He comes off as a sincere gem.
there is two sided story. I noticed alot of people dont like Blakey, but not listening to her side story first before accusing her. it is so sad. We have to wait until next year when we know the truth.
“Her and Ryan are something else 😅”… Justin is keeping it real
Im always down to watch movies justin brings out and i dont know what justin does but it leaves a deep impression and the takeaway from the movie. The reason im even interested in this film/book not because of the actors but because of this director Justin baldoni
He did a great job! I just watched the movie!
Considering Blake's subsequent legal action, this interview is painful due to "His" gracious and generous comments about Blake.
yeah I cringed a little. Hopefully Blake's team doesn't use this interview for anything
Such a gracious man
He don't need a makeup... Such a beautiful man. Natural beauty.
This guy speaks so well of Blake and Ryan after all he had to endure. He deserves an award for endurance !
He is so sincere
This movie 🍿 brought out so many emotions… he did great!
He tried to give her space so she could bring female perspective but she ends up taking over and kicking him out. She uses it to promote her hair brand, then promote her husband, promote her husband's movie.
She also used press coverage to promote her drink line. This woman is unbearable
She literally doesn’t deserve the compliments he is giving her
Blake lively is bad mouth ing him behind his back. Mean girl personified
He is such a fine specimen. Too good to be true but here he is.
#FineSpecimen ❤
Holy sheeeeeyt!!
Taylor is ALL over this!
Did yall hear what he said in this video?!🤯
I’m a real Lilly! I want to raise awareness when we are back on our feet! Left 6 months ago!
Justin’s first Director experience, such a powerful story and his own abuse he went through cause of the Blake & her dragons
Justin is warm hearted Man ❤ I route for him
