FIX LG OLED Static Screen Problem C1 C2 C3 G2 G3

If you have an LG (or possibly other brand) TVs, at least the C2 series in 83", and randomly see a static screen appear, try switching to HDMI input 1 on the side of the TV.

Where do I find more info on making it a dumb display and using the shield or fire stick instead? Hate the LG OS.

It's as simple as only using your external box(s) and optionally disconnecting from your network by turning off the TV wifi and/or unplugging the ethernet cable. I have everything turned off that would use bandwidth or processing like the voice control, ad monitoring, auto updates etc. as well, so no popup displays ever show asking for a network connection. Whatever HDMI input you are using from your external source, that's all you use, never switch the the Home screen.

I have a c2 55in with my Xbox,it works great for gaming but it does the snow screen every now and then when I watch Hulu or prime or UA-cam. it is in HDMI 1.... Any other advice or suggestions?

I fixed my G3 by just going into my xbox setting and turning off allow 25hz and 50hz. It happened to be when my internet slowed a bit I think it was only when watching HBO max and it happened a lot but since I did that it's never happened

Unfortunately I get this exact issue on HDMI 1. I use a C2 48" as a monitor and so far have found the only way to stop this is to unplug the HDMI and re-plug it in for it to stop doing it for a few hours!
