I've heard this so many times and it's so confusing. I would love if you can make a video or answer this question. SHOULD OR SHOULD YOU NOT have a cohesive looking shop (same font/design 1st photo). I feel like no one has answered this.

@@dylanjahraus yeah I launched my first digital product 2 days ago on Etsy :) I had made some mistakes that I noticed after watching your video and made changes to it now with a promo code to give 60% off! Ridiculous price tag but I understand the analogy behind it now and share it with confidence with my audience.
ps. I discovered Pat Flynn yesterday and his content also has been really opening up my mind to a new way of thinking.
What inspired you to get started? Was there a particular goal you were aiming for?

Coming from a business mindset I started off thinking about money but it has transformed into helping my community become better by understanding them and providing them a valuable resource and service / product. With this new mindset new opportunities and ideas are starting to show up that I never thought possible. It’s a little overwhelming but I’ve been through this feelings before, so kind of expected it to come and go :)

I actually just opened mine up 4 days ago and have had 0 sales. I’ve done most of those things but it’s hard to compete with the lower priced shirts using POD.

While I get what you’re saying I think it’s a bit more nuanced than that. For instance I make things that are holiday themed but that’s just one theme I do, and even in the summer they’re some of my best sellers.
Also I think there can be a strategy behind using everbee, but not how most people use it or how you demonstrated here. For instance I look at what is tending and what sales the most and create products similar to them but not in the hopes that they’ll then become best sellers themselves, I do it to get more eyes on my store overall. It’s working fairly well for me and usually bring in more sales than just that one item. And if that item itself sells well that’s just the cherry on top.
Love that for you! I'm moreso commenting on sellers that ALWAYS chase and never create their own unique strategy.

Is it really like that? Same mockups mean a bad thing?
I see a lot of shops, Etsy or not, that have the same mock-up or lack of mock-up throughout. It gives it the uniformity and clarity that I like. Some customers, I think mostly women, like a variety of fancy mock-ups, but I don't necessarily think it helps them sell more.

I use everbee to just see the niches that are trending and to research SEO, cuz it's very easy and time saving.
About the last tip, I don't what's wrong with that.... I always do that and if works, but in much much muchh better way.
