I have been going over and over in my head what I should do and wondering why my listings are not selling like they should be. My shop has had a few changes since 2019 when it opened with a hiatus for awhile. But now it seems as if nothing is selling. I like the idea of starting over. I just need to figure out how to optimize listings.

There are a few big Etsy teachers on UA-cam who say that driving traffic from social media hurts your Etsy quality score. Is there any truth to that? So much conflicting info out here it’s tough to know what to do in the beginning.

Nah, conversion rate is based on your items and how 'active' they are. Deactivate anything thats never sold or hasnt sold in a long time (year plus) . Keep adding new product , every item and store has a shelf life, it's figuring out the Algorithm in etsy, social media wont reduce it, if anything itll bring clicks to your shop at least@007IceBaby
Harmony And Home Design would love for you to take a look! I feel like I’ve done fairly well but I don’t know what to focus on right now! Only 70 sales so far but I started listing 4 months ago. Definitely didn’t start it optimized so I’m at a crossroads on wanting to add more of my designs to not fall behind when holidays or seasons come up or focus on what I have already and optimize them.

Dylan hearing this it just occured to me i made a big terrible mistake, i started my shop about a year ago and i only have 51 sales. The shop i started was actually opened in 2016, when a few paintings were listed with no sales. I had no clue how to sell anything online back then, and then my life fell apart for a good while. I have done all my listings over and over, got rid of everything, found better ideas, and kept making it better. Now i think my SEO is finally optimized and i at least have some good designs, i have more than a few favorites from the low number of views i am getting. Could using the old shop that never got sales be what is wrong?! If i start over i wont have any sales or reviews, is there any way to get an old shop going if the products and seo are good?

I would like to know as an European, from where my visits are coming from. I am focused in the USA market, so I choose USA POD providers. For European clients with the taxes and shipping cost my items are quite expensive. I have no sales so far and I do need to find out if Etsy shows listings near customer or not necessary as Etsy filters near providers instead where the shop is stablished. Thanks a lot for your time.

We have a shop but I have not made any listing as of yet. We are working on policies, pictures, ect. Is the Etsy boost for new shops once an item is posted? Is our shop affected by not posting until its structurally sound? I want to make sure our new shop is not affected by us taking our time learning SEOs, Titles, pics, ect. before actually listing an item.

I have a digital planner/sticker shop with a little over 700 sales I started the shop October of Last year I made around 40 listings and let it sit for a long time because I had life things going on , now that things are better I started to make new products but my traffic is really low and im not getting as many sales as I used to im not sure what I should do. Im not sure if its because people arent searching for digital planners/stickers are much as they used to or my product aesthetic is too niche as I have a focus on designing Cute style planners and stickers. Im not sure how I can revive it and start making alot of sales

Thanks for the video! What if the shop selling physical item was on vacation mode for almost a year and has just reopened selling digital items? Shop has 1000+ sales and 5 star reviews. It's been newly opened for 10 days and got sale from actual customer on the 8th day. Views and visits are low. Should I keep going with it?
