  • Sorry, one of my longer videos, but this is how I prep my car(s) for the winter, since I'm a "Fair Weather" detailer and am not able to regularly care for them when it's cold & snowy outside. I try to give the car(s) the strongest possible protection for the winter months.
Watch until the end for a surprising 'mistake' by a guy at the gas station - I also get one of the BEST compliments a detailer can receive from him.

What I do now is based on about 40+ years of trial and error, followed by A LOT of studying UA-cam videos on the products I'm interested in AND following the directions by the manufacturers UNTIL I learn enough about the product to "tweak" application and removal methods.
I'm trying to save others from having to spend SO LONG trying to learn HOW, and enjoy the benefits (and ease) of proper use quicker.

The Ceramic Polish is a terrific all-in-one and great base layer.
It's hard to imagine the Camaro paint not only looking better but also having better winter protection.
    Shine on you crazy diamond!

I "relearned" how GOOD the Polish & Wax is on my friend's Challenger, when it "cleaned up" about 90% of the rotary haze. Now I just need to get it back and remove the other 10% with polishing pads, instead of cutting pads.

I've been using TW flex wax for the last year on my daily car, on top of autoglym super resin polish (because I have large bottle of it), gives similar results. Product goes a long way and lasts several months at least with daily use, weekly wash and not garaged. Great stuff.

Looks good. I just finished both my cars with TW graphene paste wax. I use my random orbital on a slow speed with a black pad. Hopefully a few washes before the weather gets bad and I’ll use Flex as a drying aid also.
The TW paste wax has carnauba wax which makes the car have that wet wax look 👍🏼

Sorry I didn’t realize you used the flex over the paste wax.

No problem. I try and give out A LOT of information (verbally) in my videos, to try and make sure what I'm demonstrating is clear to everyone. It's easy to see how a few details might be missed - watch my videos more than once to make sure you "get" everything. 🤣

How do you compare this wax to the flex wax?

The Ceramic/Graphene Paste? It is an excellent wax, but (to ME) seems to need to be topped for best durability. And In MY opinion, the Flex Wax is the strongest of the Hybrid Solutions "waxes," so naturally it is my favorite 'top wax.'

    Thumbnail resolution could be better.

I have no idea how to make them better ... do you know how? Because I think they could be clearer too.

@@DetailedbyDon I suggest you should use Canva. Watch some video’s about it, you will be surprised how easy it is. Even of you are not a big editing guru like myself!
