just lost a run that i spent half an hour on due to one of the guards bugging out and briefly seeing the hacked pc in the judges chambers and now he isn't alearted but just standing there not taking houston to the basement :(
Impressive run. Been a while since I last played stealth, only tried out the loud variant of the heist. Say, which skills are essencial for stealth to make this smooth gameplay happen?
tl;dr pd3.gg/skills?s=D12m123N125r15s1467 are the mandatory skills for stealth. The rest are luxuries. The Grifter skill line is pretty good as a whole. Grifter basic, Walk the Walk, and Social Engineering are pretty much mandatory for the most comfy stealth experience. Open Mic is optionally okay if you want it but not necessary. From the Hacker skill line, you need to ace the Hacker skill. The secondary effect of being able to overload cameras won't be used commonly, but it provides an additional runtime which lets you do many cool things in stealth. Secure Loop is next in line, allowing you to loop cameras and make them non-functional at the cost of one runtime. The runtime is refunded if you loop other cameras and run out of runtimes. You'll be able to loop up to three by the end of the build. Glitch Protocol is the skill that lets you hack guards, which can be used reactively to not waste time (stop yourself from being walked back) or to save a run (guard wants to cuff you, instead you hack him and things go into search mode instead), offensively to force your way past a guard, or defensively to prevent yourself from getting cornered or prevent the guard from finding something he won't like such as a bag on the floor or a computer being hacked. It also resets theiir animation, so if they were about to move, they'll have to play their whole idle animation again before moving I think. In the Infiltrator skill line, ace the base Infiltrator skill. The rush gained from being detected by a guard will help a lot. Then pick up Quick Fingers to pick locks faster. Bagger is okay if you want to bag loot faster, but it's not necessary. The Scrambler line enhances what you already have and gets some new features. Scrambler basic gives you another runtime for your camera looping, while Cam Distortion at the very end lets you shut down even more cameras. And unlike camera looping, it works even when an overkill modifier would reset loops after 5 seconds, allowing a true shutdown. Extra Pockets gives you an extra ECM. Full Recall will let you pick those ECMs back up, meaning you can put them on any camera near what you're doing. In total, you can stop five cameras at once (three from runtimes+looping and two from ECMs), or more potentially if cameras are very close together like on 99 Boxes for example. Speed Hack is an additional option to answer guard pagers instantly, but you'll have to use your ECMs which won't let you pick them back up. If you have two placed, it'll use both of them. The Transporter line lets you move bags more efficiently. Power Lifter lets you carry two bags and Beast of Burden reduces the movement penalty for carrying them so long as you have rush. Catapult lets you throw bags 30% farther, but it's not mandatory. I didn't cover most of the optional choices because they're more subjective. They help, but they aren't going to make as profound a difference all of the time in every heist. You can do almost whatever you want for the rest of the build if it looks good to you.
I'm not sure. Are you accidentally setting off routed ping or something else? It could be that. I remember something like that happening to me but I'm not sure how it was resolved.
Thank you. The devs made it flow together pretty well considering how much is going on. The only real issue is that I always run into the fingerprints out of order, but that's probably just a coincidence. I think there's something upstairs that tells the player which fingerprint to get.
Originally thought this was a Payday 2 mod. I haven't followed this game since release because i didn't feel impressed by it. Does this unlock Houston himself
My stealth build isn't optimal and I need to update it. It just gets the job done. This is what I used: pd3.gg/skills?s=c6D1234g16j12M1234N125r1256s12467

I haven't read the patch notes yet. I've only done stealth runs. If the SA really got nerfed that hard I might try the Adelig or VF, assuming nothing else has changed. But I know other things have changed because I saw someone post about it, so I'll just have to check right now. If it's just a precision shot nerf I might use the SA anyway.
Pure theorycrafting, haven't played yet: They nerfed almost every core part of my build and, weirdly, replaced it with the ability to use assassin's mettle with one armor, making adaptive armor not a bad decision at all. I think the nerf was acceptable because it was too powerful. It's just a little strange to then add that additional buff because now people will just use adaptive armor and plate up. Because adrenaline goes before armor, it'll be very strong anyway as the two will probably just keep juggling each other back and forth. And now that you can pick up plates from your kills, there's no need to worry so much about this. Nerfing health skills just incentivizes shifting points around to abuse the new stuff instead. Health skills were already questionable at times because they were competing with smokes. I feel like this might just formalize adaptive armor/mettle as the clear meta and reduce build variety even more. I'd like to try out the new weapons. I'll have to get to that sometime.
@@Nailkaiser tnx for the insaine detal cooment just so sad that i never got something like this from my long time freidns LOL know me so litle but respect me mroe then the outhers that do know me for a long time sad
This steals looks soooo stupid. Like... bro just slidng between and under securitys noses. Why is PD3 has this shittie steals? Even PD2 didnt had THIS blind cops.
what the hell, u can move unnoticed by several guards, steal stuff and open different panels and doors, in the middle of the courtyard with all the people around you? PD2 is a MASTERPEACE compared to this childish so-called Payday game
You’re acting like you couldn’t get away with stupid bullshit in payday 2 as well. You gotta stop looking at that game with rose tinted glasses. Literally one of the most important things to learn in stealth on payday 2 stealth was guard juggling and crouch hopping in front of guards lmao it is just as silly.
It's true that it's cheesy however PD2 was cheesy in a different way. With four radios per heist, you could usually just kill the most important guards and build a path to freely loot things. If that wasn't enough, it was easy to ECM rush many heists which meant not having to interact with stealth at all and simply treating it like an unopposed loud heist. Guards also often got stuck, or could be tricked into weird infinite loops by placing a bag out of reach. For a long time, you could saw things with guards close by and get right in because they wouldn't hear it. Guards were regularly launched all over the placed with shotguns and pushed around with SMGs after dying. There were a lot of quirks. I do think PD2 is a better game, however.
Shade making fun of you for randomly grabbing peoples prints is so funny lol
“You could be carrying a mini gun through there and not set it off”
Little do you know, I AM
Probably you know already but there is a switch to take out cameras in the garage, makes it even more a walk in the park.
Yeah, a couple people told me in another video. I wasn't aware of it (even later on). This was all recorded on day one so I changed my strategy a lot.
I also think that stealth should definitely have shoot on site areas in some maps
A big GG. Amazing played 👏👏 Even Houston was impressed
Thank you.
We are so back
We are so fucked
you don't have to take every fingerprint, the email on the judge's PC told you who the clerk was and the desks have nametags on em
6:02 I love how shade just rails you in this update lol
I need to get my mind out of the gutter.
I wouldn't min doing the railing lol @@Nailkaiser
Blud is already doing solo overkill 💀
I completed this with all bags this morning but took so long especially with no favors
God damn the update came out today holy shit. You're quick to that DLC
I played for hours and failed many times trying to make it all come together. They put things all over the map for this heist, lol. It was pretty fun.
I tend to make stupid mistakes so it normally takes me a lot of attempts speed-running
I failed a lot.

They did with the latest update. They increased the rate at which people are detected in many situations.
