Ok ,as a big Firenza fan ,racing one some 35 years ago this is quite a special video for me ,thanks for uploading and keep up the great work with your dad .
What a machine! Proper hooligan wagon. The coupe was tail happy. Easy to spin, or overshoot when pressed, even with only the 2.3 Sohc engine; on anything other than dry tarmac. Bit like an early Porsche. 💯
That is a Chevrolet 'Can-Am'. It is a homologation special built in South Africa and was used for track racing as well as rallying. It was developed from our Chevrolet Firenza Coupe (which was the same as the Vauxhall Magnum) and was indeed fitted with a small block chevy 302
One can hear even from the sound... that this isn't at all an easy car to drive fast. So much torque and the short wheelbase.... Oh my....!
These actually were a very cool and stylish car back in the day, nice to see one in the wild.
I do like the look of them! :)

✨Good job Harley✨
The part with the car is amazing

Looks either a beast to handle or a less than experienced driver!
But glorious sound! Well caught!

BRÜLL TOB BRÜLL! !!!
When is too much power too much🇦🇺👍🦘
Definitely sounds like a small-block V-8, Chevrolet most likely. Great sound, whatever it is!

I would chose this over a porsche any day just for the noise 😋, maybe not as a daily driver though. 👍
Maybe a bit loud for the road eh?!?!
needs some chassis fettling and some better tyres, but lovely sound
That's a Magnum Coupe, not a Firenza

@johanmarais715 it was developed from the UK Vauxhall Firenza/Viva coupé shell but not known in the UK, so I understand ray hully's error.
