- Highlights of the first three stages at Weston Park and a little of the fourth stage before it was cancelled.
Stig Blomqvist was in attendance driving a genuine Audi quattro A2.
Weston Park was used as a stage during the Group B rally era.
The S1, T16 and Maxi Turbo remain beasts even almost 40 years later! Stage design looks great, like the opening part of a classic RAC. Seems like the driver of the RS200 was really keen on keeping his car in one piece. Can hardly blame him.

It is so nice to see these cars driven as they were designed to be ,not just in a showroom
Such a shame they had to cut the stages short for Sunday but looks a great event.
I did hear the organisor is trying to get Loeb there for next years event.
It was. They cancelled the fourth stage after about five or six cars had gone through and I called it a day then. Not sure if they resumed later for the last two stages. The weather was pretty disappointing by that point.
@@Marvdogger2 From what I saw from the organisers on one of special stages posts.
They were told by the MSA representative that it had to stop due to how slippy it had got with the oil on the tarmac. Still though, it's really nice to see some GRP B stuff out in the UK, I usually have to travel to Germany's Eifel rally festival for my fix.
@@ChopperMeir I thought they might have been worried about spectators getting there cars stuck too had it continued with the final two stages.

It was but it was lovely to meet you. I'll be going again next year and hopefully the weather will be a little kinder. I'll keep my eye out for other events.
