Remember that this is just for entertainment and I am not an expert in these repairs. The processes in the video may not be the best way, the correct way or the safest way to fix these things.
I do love fault finding and trying to fix broken things so I hope that comes across in this 'Trying to FIX' series.

When using the sucker always put it just off center. Heat the screen up to soften the adhesive, If your using a hot air gun to soften the adhesive, keep it moving as heating up one spot can damage the screen/digitiser and always start prying the long ends of the screen/digitiser first as starting at the short ends of the screen/digitiser can snap the screen/digitiser.
Try To take your bench power supply and supply 4 volts to the battery connector if it boots up you have a bad battery
Fix one problem, made another one. Just like I did with my laptop.

Man, I've got my iFix it tool kit, rubber mat, microscope cam, the whole lot. Every time some electronic device breaks in my house, I whip out everything and watch the iFixit videos and a few others on UA-cam and try to find trouble shooting advice on reddit, then I immediately proceed to crack the screen trying to get the damn thing open... I almost always end up totaling whatever I try to fix.
I think it's the better as the voltage doesn't meet the voltage it need to turn on. Maybe that's the boot looping as well. I hope it help I've had a problem like that before but I replaced the battery and it worked fine after. It was in a laptop as the battery didn't give the right voltage and when it was stressed it would just turn off too like a macbook if the battery is dead it won't turn on without a good battery

Hi Vince! I have a suggestion that could save you some time next time with fixing tablet/phones that bootloop. You should try to flash its original firmware with a flashing tool.
Most brand companies have their own flashing tool that makes it easier. You may come across some phones that have an MTK CPU though, those phones will need a program called "SP Flash Tool" which is kind of complicated but there are a lot of tutorials out there on how to use it.
Don't know if you still check the comments on the quick version but have you looked to see if there is any chips messed up on the battery they sometimes hide them under some tape.
The dim screen is because you fried the backlight voltage booster when you plug/unplug the LCD cable with AC/battery connected. The backlight requires a much higher voltage up to 48V. If you are not careful, this voltage can easily fry up components on LCD connector.

When I finished plugging everything in the lead the PS4 power cable and the monitor power cable I hold down the button for 8 seconds then something pops up on my screen saying cannot display this video mode please help me Vince please

bootloop can also happen when devices whasnt used and it got too low battery to even start (just keep it connected to charger for a few hours to fix)or software problem most devices have a way to put original firmware back on them
Check the voltage on the battery, battery looks like the problem
Amazon really need to change the electronic design of these things, my 2nd gen from 2012 had a similar internal layout
I have never had a problem with them Amazon always swapped mine out I had one where my son smashed it and amazon swapped it for me no questions asked just sent it back
My tablet is broken like Every time I try to type it automatically presses something else or Every time I watch something it automatically picks another video

This one of reason why shouldn't mess with the inside of any electrical devices,just end up breaking it even more.Its a shame we are a throw away society but the hours mess with it and don't what you doing its might as well have a replacement or something different.Learn from Experience
What boths me is that their isn't any moisture on the device. It's a faulty moisture indicator that Amazon needs to fix.

Never use sucking tool on big displays because the tencion over one point is too great. A "hardware reset/factory reset" is a solution most of the time. Never replace an inductor with wire, it will short out the driver as the inductor charges energy from fast burst of pulses and is often used as step up/down voltage level converter or line noise reduction filter between analog and digital signals/grounds and it has small resistance too.
it's not a digitizer, it's a touchpanel. only apple calls it "digitizer", just like they call a mainboard "logicboard", etc.
actually it is touch screen because it is a transparent grid of capacitive touch points
Fault finding must be carefully and methodically diagnosed and only those faulty parts replaced. By randomly trying to guess you made many more problems for yourself than needed to be by breaking parts like the digitizer screen + cable, lcd cable etc. So the end result was many hours wasted on something that was of no use in the end. 🤔

There's a mostly complete looking toppers toys tiger Joe tank for 34$ plus 16$ shipping on eBay if you could figure out the wiring and get it firing that would make for a great video. There usually a couple hundred bucks
They lowered the price from 34$ to just 25$ there huge tanks you gotta jump on that. Go to eBay.com and just search tiger Joe tank. I think they were built in 1966

I have a fire 6 gen 4gb it's battery only works at 30 or 40 off of the charger and the charging port is a bit bad but you need a descent charger to work
I need help so I dropped my tablet in a tub full of water and I have this weird mark on my screen but it's like inside the tablet and I can see it. Also, when I start to turn up my volume the the icon doesn't show up so I go to settings and put it up a bit but it it went all the way to max volume without me even putting it all the way up there also I can't take screen shots sometimes but sometimes I can. My opinion is not really worth fixing it.
Because you can buy them pretty cheap these days.
But however I believe it maybe software-related it's best to jailbreak it and reinstall some new firmware.
If that definitely doesn't fix it. Then you definitely have something wrong with one of the chips.
If you want to I believe you are able to buy the brand new motherboard.
Depends on what version of fire is ur running if ur on 5.1.2 that’s quite rare and can flash an android rom on it

hey vince i bought a lan adapter for my switch and when i plug it in the dock with ethernet cable the light turns on but when i go to internet settings on my switch it fails to connect do you have any idea why?

goddamn dude, you could have said that you don't need to take the screen off at all just ripped my screen to pieces following your vid, i did it the proper way with heat transfer and soft edging tool, why did you not explain that you take the back off!!! would have taken 5 seconds and now 21k+ people are going to be ripping their screens off! have now solved the corrosion in the thin ribbon cable from the battery (a very simple fix) but my kindle is now unusable. :/ please make instructional vids clearer as most people fixing their own stuff obviously can't afford new or replacement gear. so devastated by this
