- Rifat Jawaid applauds Ireland for standing on the right side for the history after new prime minister, Simon Harris, raised the plight of Palestinians in his public speeches. Harris also bluntly told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to immediately stop the Israeli atrocities in Gaza, which has seen more than 33,000 people killed including 17000 children.

@@aalvarez2914that is perfectly correct. Hamas was created, as a joint venture, by Israel and the Muslim Brotherhood. The Muslim Brother didn't like Fatah/PLO because it is a secular organisation. Israel wanted to use Hamas to split the Palestinian cause and thus weaken it. This culminated in the Palestinian Civil War that greatly weakened the Palestinians, just as Israel had intended. It also led to Hamas gaining control of Gaza. Any reference to Hamas that does acknowledge this is nonsense. It illustrates, perfectly, how evil and devious Netenyahu and the Isralis really are.

I have visited beautiful Ireland many times, when I was speaking Arabic one day in a shop, I was asked where i’m from, as soon as I mentioned I’m Palestinian, I got overwhelmed by the handshakes and well wishing from those around me, something I hardly ever experienced in a lot of European countries.
