Al Jazeera’s Youmna El Sayed recollects the moment when a little boy of about 11 years old, brought his dead baby brother - Ahmed - to a hospital in Khan Younis in a blue backpack. The boy was dishevelled, bruised, and looked like he had emerged from the rubble. Blood dripped from the backpack.

The journalist forced the boy up and you would think it was wrong but the world needed that boy to look out for his siblings

Let’s use them before they’re taken from us - who’s to say we might not be in a position like children on Gaza tomorrow, house half bombed, gotta evacuate? Not a day goes by that I don't think of the children or cry for them. I don't even watch too may videos but I'm devastated . I have a hot meal and a warm bed and and i think of these people.but I'm torn inside .i make dua daily and I feel helpless.
