- Ireland’s incoming Prime Minister Simon Harris has delivered a clear message to Israel’s Netanyahu, calling for a ceasefire and for aid to “flow safely”.
“Prime Minister Netanyahu, the Irish people could not be clearer. We are repulsed by your actions,” Harris said in a speech at Gael Ard Fheis University in Galway.
“Anyone who can countenance deliberate starvation has lost their humanity,” Harris added, noting that famine is a “spectre no Irish person can bear”.
Harris, the new leader of the governing Fine Gael party, will be Ireland’s youngest prime minister after the recent unexpected resignation of Leo Varadkar.

Fellow Irish people, I don't know whether to congratulate you on the election of Simon Harris as Prime Minister or express my regret. I wonder how a person in this position can be so naive and ignorant.
Namely:
Simon Harris plans to recognize a Palestinian state. I hope he remembers (if he remembers at all?) how “Palestine” and the entire “Palestinian people” came into being? If not, then let me remind you: Hamas, Palestine and the entire Palestinian people were created by the KGB of the USSR about 50 years ago. By the way, this is open information. And before that, the Palestine Liberation Organization was also created by the KGB of the USSR, and Yasser Arafat was a recruited KGB agent. And this is also open information. Show a little more curiosity and you will discover many interesting facts.
And if Simon Harris is going to recognize the Palestine project artificially created by the KGB, then let him recognize the same KGB projects as the LPR and DPR, which Putin created on the territory of Ukraine. And there are many other facts pointing to the same style (not to mention the fact that Russian speech can be heard on the terrorists' dashcam videos).

Harris says he supports the a two state solution in Isreal but says the reunification of Ireland is not his priority, Martin goes on about the sovereignty of Ukraine but then says from the other side of his mouth we Ireland should not be backward looking at Irish sovereignty. Things are going fine as is - there's no border. Dublin should focus on building cross border collaborations (it has recently taken important steps), a particular focus on dreadfully neglected Derry, eg., a fully staffed School of Medicine, a proper university, cross-border institutions....all the while allowing NI to obtain the London subvention.

Varadkar acted in so far as he could visit to the WH - Biden began to shift somewhat within hours. I think Varadkar's intervention was one factor. Ireland has made €25 million to UNRWA. It has provided food aid to Jordan for airlift to the besieged Gaza Concentration Camp. Foreign ministry has been liaising with like-minded EU countries for recognition of a Palestinian State, intervention with the ICJ....a myriad of other actions.

Which is sitting in the border. all the countries in the world are providing aid. The language needed is sanctions, diplomatic pressure within EU, Disrupt EU process in supporting isreal, legal action against fellow EU countries that actively supply weopons.

Ireland or Éire does not have a “PM”, we have what’s called a “Taoiseach”. This translates to Leader and means leader of government, however we simply do not have a PM.

Yes, pointless comment. You know well it's common for An Taoiseach to be referred to as Prime Minister outside of Ireland because that's what the English speaking world can understand. He's not the president so calling him the leader doesn't do much for clarification. "Prime Minister" self describes the job, so it gets the job done.
Im Irish and this politician does not speak for the Irish people. He is an unelected leader and is mediocre at best, his values are embedded in the WEF and he doesn't give a toss about the ordinary Irish person.
