Hey Keaton, Just found your channel from Dylan Barfield Furniture. Have to admit, watching fellow furniture makers on UA-cam is one hell of ae enjoyable rabbit hole to go down. Form and function plus custom home made stool makes for a meaningful video. Thanks for sharing. One Handed Maker - Australia
Hi James, I just checked out your channel and website. Really amazing work, can't wait to watch your videos! This is the best part of being in this community, getting to connect with people I never would have met and being inspired to make more and try new things in the process!
I like that. I have it on my list to build myself a new desk which will be rather large. I haven't done it yet for a few reasons, but one is that I know I'll want to make it easy to disassemble. The current desk is two parts and even then one half is so bulky and heavy it's a pain to move. All that to say, thanks for sharing and to start the wheels turning for the rest of us in the community!
Hey, time invested in a jig means better outcomes for your finished products. Also it also means you can make more than one, but if you're like me you have plans to make more than one of the thing and then never do.
Half the fun is building jigs and solving problems!
Definitely is! Showing your project off is, usually, also pretty fun 😉

I think you just became my 900th sub as well.
I certainly did!
Great video & use of jigs! Also, really nice end result. 🙂
Thank you! This one was all about them jigs!
My project next project is a sofa.... my goal is that it looks good while being comfortable😅. Nice work! The cooler 😂😂😂
Awesome! Good luck on the sofa project. I bet it'll come out perfect!
@@keatonbeyerwoodworking I'm willing to take that bet 😂
The larger the object, the more easily it should be disassembled. So I'm interested in designs that obviate permanent joinery.

Lol. I think I enjoy building jigs more than actual finished products. At least that’s what my wife says.
