Muunilist was a meat grinder when the clone lancer battalion charged on speeders at droids mounted on speeders. the clones deserve better. A lot better.

No wonder they didn't show up anywhere else in other battlefields as the war progressed.
As much as I loved Star Wars Clone Wars that part just made absolutely no sense...
No they don't. That's what they were bred for. They grew up to fight. Brutal deaths in combat under orders is the best thing a clone can hope for. Their purpose complete.
In empire at war, it's always a grueling long siege too, due to the immense lag.
This one also should be a clone wars episode

For some reason Filoni decided to only do 12 episodes including the pointless arc with the sisters. What was he thinking? They already animated and had like 40 particular made. I know for sure the Christophsis was fully animated, Boba Fett’s duel with ad Bane as well as some of Ventress’s final arc were all mostly done. It’s a shame that not only will Filoni not finish them, but he doesn’t plan to do anymore animated series. For example the cancelled Rebels sequel.
@@justchilling704 You do know that Disney would only let him do 12 Ep's right? Having a arc about boba before would make no sense because then we would have the Mando arc right after. This means Ahsoka would just pop up with no explanation. That's why i think Dave got Disney to sign off on a sequel show that takes place during order 66. Then Dave would have the time and the Episodes to do what he wants.
The late-season had to make sense, so the bat batch arc was chosen to introduce people to them so that they would be ready for a show called THE BAD BATCH. The one with Ahsoka was boring but required and the Mando arc was great. I'm sure if he had more slots he would have added more Ep's.
@@CoolMyron You don’t understand, I’m saying the they should have done at least 20-24 episodes for the final season. Again I’ll stress that the arc with the sisters was very out of place, and tbh so was the Bad Batch arc. If anything save them as a surprise for their new show instead of wasting your tiny 12 episode last season on them and some stupid sisters.They should have just done animated Son of Dathomir as originally planned bc Maul came out of nowhere, they also should have animated added the give or take 90% complete Christophsis arc. We don’t need an entire arc to explain Ahsoka’s return it’s like you’re actually buying there bs 🤣
Again the Ahsoka arc was out of place and unnecessary you just said we needed an explanation for Ahsoka’s return but not Maul?! The guy we last saw at the mercy of Sidious?! You should evaluate your arguments more. Here what they should have done. Release the Christophsis arc, A two episode arc with Ahsoka, (while keeping the Asian guy mind you) Son of Dathomir and then the siege of Mandalore.
@@justchilling704 So how are you going to get mad at Dave for something he has no control over. They only allowed 12 Ep's, so it does not matter how many Ep's you want it to have. Maul did not come out of nowhere, during most of the show he has been getting ready to or attacking Mandalore. LOL, He is set up again to attack in the Ahsoka Returns arc.
They set up both Ahsoka and Maul in the same arc, Maul was already set up but they added him in there even tho they didnt need to. In fact the whole battle happened because Maul attacked. What are you talking about?

Nikto are force resistant to begin with, and when trained as Morgukai they were supposed to be among the best Jedi hunters in the galaxy.
Then why are there Nikto Jedi? If they are Force resistant

@@wintersking4290 Jedi General Ima-Gun Di was stationed at Ryloth, KIA during the CIS invasion led by Wat Tambor. How he was named makes it clear he is a throw-away character, but doesnt make the idea of Nikto Jedi any less legitimate.
I am unsure exactly how cannon CW show is, but suspect any Force resistance on the part of the Morgukai would be from training their minds. A Jedi's precognition does use the thoughts of their enemy if available, and of course a mind-trick is a possible threat to an organic intent of killing Jedi.

I thought the geonosis arena was their meat grinder. You gotta suck pretty bad if you use space magick thingy and STILL lose.
To be fair they didn’t prepare to be fighters. They were only supposed to be peacekeepers, but got too politically involved and that ended up being their downfall
the Jedi had been demilitarized for thousands of years at this point so as far as warfare goes yes they did suck. once every couple generations or so tho you get one man/woman armies because of how powerful they can be with a high enough force sensitivity or good enough training

What I'm left to conclude is that the Jedi just sucked as a whole. They didn't keep the peace. God knows how that was supposed to happen if they couldn't even fight as a force. We're incompetent military administrators which would also make them bad peacekeepers.
Before order 66 they were basically an incompetent and corrupt vested bureaucracy that despite basically having magic they make the UN look effective.
Also who the hell has ONE guy know the plan and then send him to fight in person?
I'm no trained General but easily could do better than the space wizards.

If the Separatists busted this out during the last 2 weeks of the war, both the Republic and the Jedi would be wiped out and Order 66 would be pointless. Not even Palpatine could hold his own against an army of these Jedi killing clones.

I'm sorry but no they wouldn't have, the CIS was on the back foot from the start of the war, losing almost all major and important battles over and over again and when the republic assaulted this clone world the cis was already nearing collapse and defeat, the war was a very over whelming one sided battle from the get go.
@@DeathSithe92 that’s because of Palpatine’s manipulation. The CIS could overwhelmed the republic from the beginning with sheer numbers alone, even the clone commanders wonder why they don’t do this

Nah, Republic was on the back foot for the first half of the war. They were severely outnumbered and only won due to Palpatine manipulating both sides.

@@drew899 Halo Reach and I were an inevitable match. I have been a fan of Halo lore since I was like 6 or 7 lol. But yeah, Halo Reach + Sword base and my High School friend = the most intense 1 v 1s I have played lol
@Curtis Wankerstein my first exposure was when I was in 2014-ish and my buddy down the street invited me over to play halo reach. He probably regretted it because every afternoon I asked him if we could play halo lol. Then I bought an Xbox 360 at a garage sale for $60 and then I could play halo whenever I damn wanted lol.
Tangent: at that same garage sale, I picked up a Pokémon game for the wii and when I got home I opened the case up and it wasn’t a Pokémon game! It wasn’t even a wii game! It was this tiny disk that said “GameCube” and “Starfox” on it. I was like, “what the hell is this, that’s not Pokémon-battle-arena-thing!” So I went to my other buddy who had a game cube and we played starfox almost STRAIGHT THROUGH the next 3 days.

I to this day listen to that soundtrack and will own it for the 3rd time this year XD. The first Halo I started with was the 1st one, was there since the beginning... almost lol

5 months with thousands of casualties, I say that is a small price if you look at battles that have happened in real life history. In the Soviet front, sieges went on for years and casualties were in the millions.

Ukraine, Iran-Iraq, War on Terror, Syria, Yemen, The Tigray War (Ethiopia), The Sudan Wars, and others. Most of them dwarf the casualties of the bloodiest wars in the Clone Wars.
And you don't even think about most of them.

I loved the Dark Horse Comics that produced star wars clone wars. I like how Commander Cody makes an appearance. Also a few of these stories should have been adapted into a series.

0:22 anyone notice that in the first few seasons of Clone Wars the planets would just be brush paintings when looked from space but as the series went on they actually made the planets look like 3d models with depth. good times watching this show

Thanks for covering this much unappreciated time frame.The Dark Horse Clone Wars omnibus comics series, showing this is awesome but nobody has covered it in as much depth as you have. Well done. More needs to be done to cover more of this series by Dark Horse comics especially the back story of Quin Lin Vos, Master Tholme and Aayla Secura and other unsung heroes and villian of the series .i find those stories amazing riveting and penultimatly sad.
Let's hope for more to come. BTW there has been only one other series depicting how epic the different battles were & how desperate the situation was for the Jedi and their eventual downfall and this was 2003 Clone Wars series by Genndy.
