That’s fine you want to see them, but the problem with Disney is that they want to appeal to the widest audience possible including almost always children. Meaning we can’t have the yuuzhan vong, zombie troopers, abeloth, or these guys.
@angeligiacomo2292 that’s not the one I’m talking about. It’s the one where Han and the group are in an imperial prison ship which the prisoners were experimented on using the shadow wing virus in which a rookie prisoner (not Chewbacca) is bitten by another zombie stormtrooper in which these zombie stormtroopers can regenerate lost limbs when sliced off by a lightsaber. Not the night sister zombie magic.
The Anzati were usually mentioned as bedtime stories to Jedi younglings. These guys were sometimes referred to as space or Force vampires since they feed on the very Force energies of other sentient beings. While some Anzati stayed on their Homeworld, others roamed the Galaxy as bounty hunters, assassins or straight up serial killers. If they ever went after a Jedi, they would Feast upon their Force energies. Every time they feasted on the "soup" once they captured and sedated their prey, it extended their life spans. Sometimes they could live in the upper hundreds. The stronger the being's connection to the Force, the longer an Anzat could live for. There were even documented cases of some having live past a thousand years old. It was their desire to live forever.

Imagine a future Anzat civilization where they shift their focus to art and literature as both an acknowledgement that the art of feeding is self-destructive and as a therapeutic practice to help or aide them in their journey to overcome their addiction to soup.
The one thing I want to know is that since Anzati can survive off of soup and they need to feed alot or risk starving to death, how was Volfe Karkko able to train to be a Jedi and survive for so long without never having tasting soup before? Shouldn't he have starved to death?
Its extremely surprising that we’ve never seen Anzati Sith before, they’d have been natural fits for the Order and we know that they had contact with the older Sith Empires
I wonder if it's because they weren't so interested in personal power compared to the Sith as their only real interest was in soup. Perhaps they were to preoccupied with their addiction to believe in the ideology of the Sith.
Agreed. And since there are many of them out there, this is like Among Us with space vampires. It was sorta like a who-dun-it game. And wasn't the anzat's first victim of the story her mate or sex partner? Wasn't she keeping him alive for future meals?
If Fox Kids back in the 90s had a Star Wars Legends animated series featuring the Anzati, would they have kept them as is, or would they have done some BS&P nonsense not unlike what they did to the plasma-sucking Morbius in Spider-Man: The Animated Series (who admittedly is still quite scary)? In an aside, CWMMP grim and gritty Quinlan Vos >>> Alt-universe surfer dude Quinlan Vos and the now overexposed spotlight character Ahsoka Tano.
As cool of a concept Force Vampires may sound like, they really went overboard with all of those attributes. I get the galaxy is supposed to be vast space full of life forms that challenge the imagination but they chose to go all out for what essentially could be human-esque aliens with face tentacles. Had they had a more exotic appearance and other distinct visible features that really draw them apart, I would have been all for it.
Imo if they needed it to survive then no they are not evil however it's clearly shown that they do not need soup to survive yet they do it anyway knowing the harm it causes. Yes they are evil.
