Kudos for pushing 2-yarders around. That's how I hurt my back some 25 years ago. Cool to see! Love the old school. No check engine lights or emissions here!
Now this is one cool truck. Amazing how there are so few of these old dinosaurs left from the 80’s. My town has an old Packmaster from 1986 that they only use of Christmas trees. I was fortunate to get it on film two years ago.
Fantastic video Isaac! That is a classic truck and now it is well preserved in video at least. Seems perfect for a small cardboard route. The classic kickbar setup is a plus but I sure cringed when that one bin fell off it. Nice job, thoroughly enjoyed.
Thanks so much for posting this video. It was so cool to see something working from the year I was born. Those sounds are something you don't forget. I've been a truck enthusiast for 30 years. I drove trucks off and on for 8 years and I still have no idea why older Ford trucks make that sound with the air brakes haha. It's great though. Up until I was about 10 the truck on my route was a Ford l8000 rear load. Used to love watching them pick up the trash and get them to blow the air horn. Great stuff.
very cool and very vintage truck and sounds and runs great what year what decade is it the ejector blade runs fast . I remember we had them picking up trash where we lived back in the 1970s early 1980s .
Holy shit! That Sanicruiser’s of definitely beast sounds! Always loved vintage Leach Packmaster refuse trucks! Fun fact: Garden State Removal Co (New jersey hauler) used had Leach Sanicruiser back in mid 70s!
Back in the late 60s and into the 70s, NYC used Leach Sanicruisers, although I'm not sure what type of COB chassis they would team with them.... I think they might've used Fords and Macks - not sure...
Sorry put the first comment up before the video ending because I was so excited the international you were talking about is that a transtar if so I love those trucks
Where do I even begin?? Kudos to Jaime on keeping this beast alive and well. I always love seeing rear load commercial routes. Superbly done from start to finish. Question though, does that old Cargostar run? If so does Jaime use it on route as well?
Thank you sir! And according to Jaime, it does run, just not on routes. It needs a cleaning, and some minor repairs, but I am pretty sure it could run a route!
Awesome video I always loved the old Ford C series trucks now y'all got me hooked on garbage trucks just wondering why the one dumpster kept coming unhooked
Probably the best truck i have ever watched. Its hard to believe that so many decades later this beast still exists. Does this truck run daily routes as well?
It's good to see these trucks still in action. It seemed to eject the load pretty fast..is this clamp and release or was it retro-fitted with a telescopic cylinder?
"Pardon me, but... you are... TRASH, are you not...?" "Why yes, I am trash! How is it that I may be of assistance, sir?" "WELL THEN! If you are indeed this "trash" as you claim, then something in fact worries me a bit..." "I'd certainly be happy to answer any questions you have...?" "Well you see, it's just-- WHY AREN'T YOU IN MAH BELLEH?!" "OH SHIT!!!"
Can't figure out what engine that has. It's too quiet to be a Detroit. I saw in another comment you said it had Detroit power. To me it sounds like either a Cummins or a Cat
Holy crap this thing is a classic! Love the sound of those brakes for starters, they just sound freaking cool! And that engine sound! Love it! I'm so glad you got that takeoff at 3:12 and got it shifting through a few gears there! I assume it has a Caterpillar 3208, right? Do you know the model of Allison? And watching/hearing it pick up those dumpsters was just cool! What other trucks do they run? Please, if possible, more videos of their fleet, maybe more ride alongs as well, I just love ride along vids! And Jaime seems like he's an amazing guy! Would love to maybe do a ride along if I'm ever in the area!
@@jaimywacker6586 Kudos to you for keeping that rig alive. Probably one of the last ones. I'm very curious if you dont mind me asking, how it compares to newer trucks as far as maintainence and repair costs? This was so cool to watch.
Dang I was born when this Beaut came out new out in production 😅, amazing she still going!
The C series has the best sounding air brakes!
The C series and L series have a very distinctive queefing sound
I'm getting addicted to these classic commercial truck videos! And this 35 year old truck is still in service! Even more cool! 😎
Kudos for pushing 2-yarders around. That's how I hurt my back some 25 years ago. Cool to see! Love the old school. No check engine lights or emissions here!

It’s a legend that Ford C series Leach Senicruiser rear loader Garbage truck amazing you can’t find great trucks like this one
I drove one just like that for many years and I also used a manual front loader like it too

For sure! That’s awesome no doubt! Wish there were some pics of those bad boys haha
I remember when the city of Philadelphia used to run these trucks down town in the early 80's . They also used the Heil mark V and formula 4000.
Thats pretty awesome haha
Probably the best truck on the fleet
We're getting ready to put a rear load body on a C8000 too 😁

Totally awesome to see this old girl still chugging along in 2021.
Gotta love that Ford Gas Engine the C serries COE and the Sanicrusier Refuse body
That truck just screams cool and it's awesome
Listen to that rod knock!!
Still in Service. I remember this one in San Juan but in an International Harvester cabover

you are a real anorak , as we say in england , good video !
I have one!! But it’s a dump truck with the v8 Detroit 5 speed with the 2 speed axle.

Awesome!!!! A classic!!! More video if possible please!!!
What year is that truck?????🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
this truck looks scary in morning fog

I just use for OCC once a week. Sometimes I go months without using it. I’ll never get rid of it. So much fun to drive
@@jaimywacker6586 I hope you still have it!
Yep. And still running strong. I will keep it on the road as long as I’m in the business

I had a clamp and release. That was a stupid dangerous system. For the slight difference in price we should have got the telescopic system.
Probably has the non-turbo caterpillar 3406 very good motor, very reliable ,just not a lot of power
at 14:33 its a old truck and then a brand new wm cng automated side loader 😂😂

Not a 3208. We have a old GM diesel in there. Don’t know the Allison model number
