Hey Jakey, next weeks after Christmas filming will be with the new pressure adjustments to the arm and blade speeds. No waiting on the blade for recyle anymore lol
Nice video and that was a perfect spot to put your camera! That was fun seeing all the tumbleweeds piling up in the hopper starting at 10:37. Was the truck pretty full when you started filming? I also can not get over how much this truck sounds like Athens Services mini Amrep, especially when driving from stop to stop.
WesternWasteManagement thank you sir! The unit had a small load on it, not too much. This route really fills the truck up. I didnt even think about both sounding the same, that's pretty cool! They may both have CAT C7 engines!
I think when we met up, I probably had 240-250 carts on, then we did another 120 before strappin the camera on. I have 173 carts in the HOA there and they're usually slammed full of tree branches and weeds. I average 5 ton on that route day.
All of Areas at any given point lol. This will be my 40th yr in garbage in 2017. Grew up in the business, owned a few, have driven damn near everything ever built. This is my assigned route truck, I drive the mini msl 2 times a week just for the resort condos after running a short resi asl route. And if rolloff is busy or shorthanded, I get stuck in one of those too lol
Western Oregon Garbage Trucks. I can't really say I have a favorite at Area. Not until they buy a Mack MRU with one of those fancy DaDee Mfg front load bodies and a 4000 yd/week route to run lol. My 07 Pete/McNeilus auto reach is the nicest truck they own. The 97 Ford LN8000 single axle hook rolloff was just refurbished for me to drive when in rolloff, and I like driving it, just hate rolloff. Too boring.
What an easy , clean route.
For as long as I've been knowing this man, I've been anxious to see the master at work lol. Good job to you both on the video!
Thank you sir!
ThaThunderStorm. Thanks lil brother. It took a while to finally get footage of me running. I'm usually going so fast they don't see me lol
ThaThunderStorm how many cans to fill up a rear loader because there smaller then this truck

Going around those circles is kinda trippy.
SCSITerminator A lot of cul de sacs in the HOA we filmed in. Around 175 carts in this one

Full size or mini
Awesome video! The trucks look great, but I think they do not perform well.
Packer is quite slow! Thank you for the comment!
Enlighten me. It has a couple issues, most have been straightened out by myself since the filming of this. But I'm open to what you've got to say
What is the engine in this one ?!
Sounds like a natural gas Cummins
@@matttucker5786 I was thinking caterpillar c12
What was the driver collecting?
The driver was collecting residential garbage. Thank you for the comment!
@@RefuseArizona were you riding on the garbage truck
Great video !!! The last load before the video cut looks like there's women's clothes !
Great catch as usual. Is this an autocar. Also please check out my latest post
Peterbuilt 320. I'm stuck in an Autocar today with python arm on a old 7000 body. The arm makes up for the crappy truck.....
Thank you! I will check it out!
Nice sounding Pete and thanks for the reply
