I love the forgotten toys when i was a child i used to watch it all the time. Im 34 years old and i still watch this cartoon with my little girl.. The forgotten toys will always be my favorite. Christmas cartoon.. The song gets me everytime time such a beautiful song..
This is me favourite, but what I feel sad about it is of Annie the doll singing and playing the piano at the same time as how I find this song. Plus, I also find it emotional, too. 🥺 😭 And Martin, who is Bob?
Yeah, this part where Annie the doll plays the piano and sings at the same time still makes me cry, too - as how I find it. As a matter of fact, I also find it emotional as well, worse than emotional. 🥺 😭
It is a pleasure to be taught by Mark Mason the animator of this show, he is one of the most nicest and purest person I have ever met. When I discovered that he directed several episodes and animated the part where the children are playing and Teddy cries, including more work he has done. I cried in front of him and thanked him. He has been a large influence and pushed me to my limits as an animator. This film has had a large impact in my childhood, it effected me then and still to this day. I was brought up on his work and now I am creating my own work because of this man. This song has allowed me to mourn my past, thank you
@@Nymousano001 I watched this with my girlfriend and I wanted to cry so bad but it was embarrassing to cry so I held back my tears until the second version of this song when they finally got adopted and left the dog, my eyes burst into tears. My girlfriend laughed at me and then she cried as well.
Dear rainbows2013 - its because it is a forgotten film. To those hand full who know it will remember forever. Its my best cartoon film ever out beating all Disney's.
Ugh, I loved this movie as a kid. This and the Snowman, my family and I would watch them at Xmas. The image of poor Teddy in the window, crying, has stuck with me ever since then :'( And the lines that've really stood out (this is the first time I've listened to this song since I was a kid) are, "Once you had a dream, but now it seems, you'll always be standing on the outside, looking in" and "life's too tough, you've had enough"-- Ive just had enough of life at this point. It is tough, it's been tough since I was small, and it seems like with each passing year it's getting tougher and tougher :( And I have a couple solid friends, who really do care, but also "Sometimes life is so unfair, and it seems to you, that no one cares" really hits :'(
You would have a harder time finding someone who doesn't like this film. The way I see it, people either love this special or they have never heard of it.
When I watch this part of Annie the doll playing the piano and singing at the same time, I get sad, emotional and cry, because sadly, I find this song more than very sad and emotional to be honest. 🥺 😭
So beautiful
Bawled my eyes out like a kid when I first heard this song
Omg my childhood...I'm legit crying right now

This song is a jewel...

Those who won´t cry to this don´t deserve to listen to it.

@@jezcross4107 This is one of those songs where you can´t hold it back.
@@Nymousano001 I agree. When I held it back, it didn't really keep my tears from falling. I was secretly wiping it.

Empty promises done me :(
I can't believe you people like this version over Joanna lumleys, she is the original voice of Sally.
Well, it doesn´t need to be the original version to be excellent. :-)
Pretty sure the song is the exact same bruh its only the voice acting that changed
