Sophia Xu If you are skinny and have no tummy in the morning but have a huge hard belly when the night comes - you 're bloated. Its very hard to confuse it with fat. Fat looks totally different and it's always there - morning or night, and also when you are fat and accumulate fat in that area, you have it on your lower back too. Whereas bloating is never on your lower back.
Best way to tell: tighten your abdominal muscles, then poke your stomach, if you poke your fat (you will have fat, everyone does) and the squishiness stops abruptly and you feel hardness farther out than it should, you're bloated. If it helps look in the mirror from the side and poke your belly, if your belly is flat all the way down under your fat, you're not bloated. I had this problem of constant bloat, turns out it was a gluten intolerance, I stopped eating gluten, a week passed and my tummy wasn't bulging anymore. The most common cause of bloating is too much dairy, if you eat cheese a lot, drink milk a lot, and eat a lot of dairy products like cream cheese and butter, you will probably get bloated often. Try to eat less dairy, don't deprive yourself just don't gorge
if you can't tell its probably fat.... bloating often comes and goes sometimes in a few hours some times it takes longer but if you notice fluctuations in your stomach size its bloating, if its always the same its fat
I am envy of all the healthy eats that are available in Australia though. Because here in Texas it's hard to find. Texas is consumed with fried foods and tons of Mexican food. Thankfully I live near Austin to which caters to more healthy living but it's still a drive for me. Y'all are such an encouraging couple to watch when it comes to staying fit together. Love it.

Where I live chicken fried steak and enchiladas a big staples which I love but recently went gluten free so I've changed a lot of my diet. But I love a good steak :)
mangosmoothie if your backed up might I suggest making a pitcher of water with mint leaves lemons and cucumber let it sit in the fridge over night and the next day drink the water it's a detox water so it's not only flushing toxins out of your body it's well...u know lol that should help if you're looking for a natural solution

Fun fact: Your body adapts to your coffee intake. So ppl who drink coffee regularly don't dehydrate bc of it. :)And I have the same problem with the long distance relationship. With bloating you feel fat. You could eat very little a few days beforehand then you just swell up big time. I can put on over half a stone. Get gassy and my stomach sticks out, feel very uncomfortable, get the same during middle of the month. Even if i take a diuretic, it doesn't get rid of the fluid. Joys!
So. All these health videos go on about "lemon water". Yes, lemon is amazing for the digestive system. However, do any of them know about how bad it is for your teeth? I have some amazingly horrific stories about what has happened to people who have used lemon every day. Seriously. Just drink water. No lemon, no apple cider vinegar. Unless you want your teeth to decay and possibly fracture after a few years

Do you ever put pieces of ginger in your morning lemon water? I do this all the time and it's great for digestion and flushing out all those toxins. Also oil pulling in the morning? Some people say it also helps them with portion control and I mostly do it to get rid of all toxins and for my teeth. Loved the video and those white sneakers were gorgeous! ♡

just a quick tip/suggestion: creating a bullet point list summarizing the points (in this case, things like -drink tons of water all day! or stuff) in the description or at the end of the video is really helpful for me, as a viewer, to back and look at it and see what I accomplished or still need to work on without having to watch the whole video again. Sarah I need your help! You're so inspirational to me and your videos helped me recover from what was getting very close to an eating disorder. I'm your height and two months ago I weighed 108lb. I don't eat any added sugars, processed foods, or anything with a lot of oil but I've been on and off binging for the past two months on healthy foods such as nuts, dried fruit, and many other things most people cannot imagine binging on or even overeating. I'm trying to lose some weight- about ten pounds- I still won't be back to 108. I'm not concerned about that but I really want to lose some weight and get back on track. Great video!! I suffer from bloating a lot, but have for the past two weeks been drinking 2-4 litres of water a day and that is helping, along with cutting sugar and salt as much as possible.

just a quick tip/suggestion: creating a bullet point list summarizing the points (in this case, things like -drink tons of water all day! or stuff) in the description or at the end of the video is really helpful for me, as a viewer, to back and look at it and see what I accomplished or still need to work on without having to watch the whole video again. Not that I wouldn't want to watch your whole video again, but because they're sometimes a bit long, it's just helpful. Thanks you xox

Lemon water is the best but honestly when this happens to me, what helps the most is to fast until I’m actually hungry. It’s the simplest thing and it gives your digestion a well-deserved break! 😆

Sarah I need your help! You're so inspirational to me and your videos helped me recover from what was getting very close to an eating disorder. I'm your height and two months ago I weighed 108lb. I don't eat any added sugars, processed foods, or anything with a lot of oil but I've been on and off binging for the past two months on healthy foods such as nuts, dried fruit, and many other things most people cannot imagine binging on or even overeating. I'm trying to lose some weight- about ten pounds- I still won't be back to 108. I'm not concerned about that but I really want to lose some weight and get back on track. Any tips you have would be so helpful! Thank you for making these videos, you're amazing!

Im from Venus I put it in after, do I need to warm it up first it curdles every time I've tried different brands
Helen B This used to happen to me. Milk looks like curdled milk when it heats too fast. Try putting the milk in slowly and a bit at a time.

But for example if I dont eat a paleo diet but I do restrict my carbs(eats practically none eventually a few) and drink about two glasses of dairy milk every day... do you thinks its okay? I also eat a lot of fruit(trying to reduce it tho)
maybe your food had gluten in it, if it was japanese food it may have had hidden soy sauce in it!

I'm literally always bloated and if the worst! I eat loads of fruits and a fair amount of veggies (probably lacking in the protein department since I'm pescatarian), but does anyone have any tips? I try and stay away from heavily processed foods and I don't eat fast food!

I avoid processed foods, eat very small amounts of meat and consume lots of fruits and grains. In spite of that, I am bloated every single day!
I know that some veggies actually bloat people!
