Kudos to Jamie Schlinkmann it's innovators like him who push the boundaries of what's possible and help keep watersports fun and interesting. I'd love to rent one of these for a few hours and go for an explore. Must be great living in Florida even that boat lift in the background when you were assembling the blade looked impressive. Having ridden efoils a dozen times I can agree with Jamie on the challenges of balancing. They're great fun but hard work to master. I found a rental at a fresh water lake about an hour from me in Gibraltar and the calm water and absence of salt makes the experience of taming the beast much more rewarding. I always thought about a dual foil set up to give the platform more stability. Using a gyro, servo controlled fin trims and ultrasonic height regulation I'm certain you could achieve the 'freestyle' feeling efoils promote with their short video clips. Hydroblade II maybe @pelagionelectric?
It was the best EV water experience so far! I hope and I can't wait to experience the final V3 model. I think the video does not translate the feelings and performance of this awesome machine. Thank you!
Without much more design tweaking here and there, your machine could look an awful lot like a really mean Star Wars Speeder Bike of some kind.... 👍👍 Have you considered some kind of removable taller seating with an air shock, that has a load setting, and you adjust according to the pilots weight? It could even pop up out of the craft, by stepping on a pedal, or such. (I'm remembering back to Go-Ped stand-up scooters, and how Steve designed an add-on seat subframe/seat tube. His idea didn't have an air shock tho, and it wasn't a pop-up. 😉)
Curious if the HydroBlade has product liability insurance? Having two exposed props where the rider could fall down onto is of real concern. Please investigate a way to encapsulate the props with some sort of device to keep the rider from becoming sushi. This issue appears most dangerous for a beginner trying to get the unit started and up to speed. Best of luck with the product, it looks very fun to ride.
A genuinely unique PEV. I totally love it! Sadly there are only lakes in my area, but if I lived near some islands, this would easily be something I'd love to have. Thanks for a great in-depth introduction of this beast!!
They will come up with Some Ridiculous Price Tag that will Sink and Drown it "Potential Success" just like many Other Cool Inventions we have seen soo Far
19:41 patterning with a cartël associate would bring 21:40 a lot of liquidity to this project. Contrary to what the news says you don’t have to worry. Barry Cooper proved this
It looks hard to control and dangerous actually. I bet that front set up, will end up being plagued with problems, if looks clunky and weak. I hope I'm wrong but we will find out. Good luck with your machine... I live right by Lake Shasta in Northern California. It's one of the best water ski lakes in the world I think it's 2nd best. Let me know if you are ever going to have one of these here so I can come check it out in person.
I don't like wet start and the absence of the seat. Otherwise very impressive. I would add inflatable kayak on top with the seat. I think to ride a scooter without a seat, in standing position is similarly poor idea as riding a motorcycle or a horse standing up. Standing position is more like circus acrobatics for the show, otherwise impractical
2:20 into the video and I'm guessing the price will be in the $40k to $60k. While toys like this look pretty cool, they're always aimed at the wealthy.
PLEASE PUT ARCHIMEDES TURBINE ON BOAT AND DIRECTLY CONNECT IT TO WATER PROPELLERS TO PROVE IT OUTPERFORMS SPORTS SAILBOATS, because energy generated from that wind turbine is more than energy generated by 5 times largers sail.
I dont know looks nice and good. I'm just concerned noobs starting it from beaches. Sems like 1. part of start dose not have much control and view up front. Sems like it shud be always started in harbor or somting that is far away from public swiming, diving...
Holy cow. This guy rides the coolest stuff. Didn't even know these things exist
Yeah, this is the coolest EV I have tried so far. I like where EV developed and the direction is taking.

This one is a winner. Stability is huge on this one. The others, I stayed away because of stability and the amount of time neede to learn it.
Thanks Eddie! We would love to have you for a test ride 😀
JUNK. who'd pay 10k for that POS
Thank you for the review! ✌🏼 We’d love to have you again soon when our final prototype is ready!

@@DetroitMicroSoundI don’t think it’s his design, he’s just testing it out. Anyone can test it in Florida according to their website.

Cowlings? They could even add thrust with no additional power consumed.

Glad you liked it and my pleasure. I hope more to come in the near future. Amazing experience.
Lakes are still alot of fun though.
We love taking the HydroBlade out on lakes!
To drive for hours on water like that can be boring. That's why yachts have a buffet, pool, TV room, and gym.
Wow, the surfing machine is really interesting. Thank you for sharing it with the audience. It can be improved to make it more compact and beautiful
Stay tuned to see our final design!!😃
I don't really like going to the lake, but I would go to ride one of these. That looks so cool.
Extremely cool experience. Go for it.
Looks like a blast!
that thing must be so nice in the intercostal in that giant no-wake zone
It's cool on waves too 😎
aaaahhh oo weee cool GREAT JOB ALL...THANX 4 MAKING Tee with LIONS NAMED LEO the music worldwide.
LOVE YOU ALL...!!!....MUCH LOVE.!!
What’s the price?
Very cool, but what about rough water? I think the overall ride height needs to be much higher.

Add solar panels on top if possible?
WOW I LOVE IT !!!!
Thank you!! 😊
This reminds me of the jet surfboard, w/o foils. Seating would be a worthy option particularly with 4hr of playtime.

It looks cool, but I would rather buy a jet ski. It's simple and fun 😊
Why? You need to try this and I think you may change your mind. Less paperwork and hassle with this blade.
But you can't keep a jet ski indoors at night because it smells like gas
@@noliberalismeveragain true my friend
@@noliberalismeveragainAnd you can power it from solar so its free too run if your smart vs buying petrol/gas.
Jet skis are annoyingly noisy for everyone else trying to just hear the natural sounds of the sea... Electric is good!
I ride a $10,000.00 electric snowbike in the Idaho winters, so this thing kind of makes sense to me!
That sounds like a blast! We would love for you to experience the HydroBlade one day.
That has a ridiculously large footprint for a pwc
Ty say from Geelong, Australia. Have you tried! Remote control planes and hellcopers electric! You should!?!!!!! Is a lot of fun!
Glad you liked it
Looks like a prototype concept.
Quit with words like shocking, and insane there is nothing shocking or insane about this vehicle. Fun, easy to ride, and very expensive.
Very expensive? Do you know how much it is. Haven’t seen a price listed.
how much WH?
Looks really fragil and weird. Great concept.
yes
So so I guess it's more efficient to have the propellers in front pulling the water? That's what it looks like Am I mistaken?
You should test your theory and compare.
NICE
Its like riding a chariot but on water
Stable? Looks like it bucks quite a bit.

Ducted props please.
HOW MUCH IS IT?

@@ElectricVehicleSpace it doesn’t show price?
@walterwhite1 I think they are working on it but I assume 15 to 20k or around that.
What about choosing between sharks and electrocution?
For me.....the handle bars look like they need to be wider!

+2 foils at front
