- I'm not used to the small keys so there are some mistakes here and there. And the keys are much softer than Im used to so the dynamics and tempo are all over the place.
Amazing performance! Loved it! I bought the microkey 61 as well and ended up returning it, I couldn't adapt to the keys and playing a full size-keyboard felt a bit wierd, but I am glad you are able to play it so well! I wish they made a 61-key board that was compact and offered decent size keys/action :D
I like it when a piano has enough variations on the sound to either cut through the mix of other players, or to have a Bill Evans kind of sound.

I used Addictive keys. You have to have a DAW to load the software.

dacasman Thanks. Do you recommend Korg microkey 61 to a total beginner. I’m in dilemma whether to go for Yamaha P45 (88 key semi weighted keys). I like the portability of Korg. Is it fine to start with 61 keys. Which one you recommend?

Yes I did. I modified my microkey with a sustain pedal jack. It doesnt come with one when you buy it.

Hi, I notice on the sheet music some of the bass clef notes are below the notes available on this player, how have you got round this, do you alter the sheet to fit? Also are you using the korg damper pedal? It sounds fab

Not sure, I just use FL studio and whatever default audio settings it has.

There is a normal Korg Microkey, which only works via USB and an Air version, with Bluetooth MIDI support.
I think the Air is the better choice if you want to use it with an iPad, because you can connect it wireless without any adapters

There's actually a mobile version on FL studio. As far as plugging it in, I think you just need an OTG cable.

The newer models do, but I mad to modify this one with a sustain pedal jack.

It's a midi controller. No built in sounds, no speakers. It's made for plugging into a computer and controlling software.

It's surprisingly easy to play. the real problem I have with it is it makes playing a regular sized keyboard a bit harder to play if you get used to the microkey for too long.
