This is a really interesting idea for a planter and although I've used mosses and ferns to plant it up the planter would surely be great for orchids since the water bleeds through the pot very evenly and creates a moist environment for roots.
It is now a couple of weeks after making the video and everything I planted is doing very well. Maybe a mixture of moss and orchids would be the way to go for a truly beautiful display? Mine is very 'rustic' but would look great in a bathroom or bedroom.

ferns and moss very good in producing oxygen and filtering stuff from air and giving out pure oxygen more so than most plants i been told
I hope someone send you JBL'S LATEST filter. Cristal Profi something. But when I opened it. It was literally upside down. I don't understand how so many companys are building things without any understanding how it works. So weird. This video is great as well. Will probably do it! Cheers Mate! 🍻
It baffles me how so many companies make such a balls of setting up their filters as it is an extremely simple process.
I could have saved making hundreds of hours of filter videos if they'd just set them up right, lol
Jury is out on whether or not that will look beautiful...make sure to show us it when its settled.
Could turn that into a nice mini pond filter.
I guess this would look very nice in moss and orchids, of the tropical kind like small Phalaenopsis (moth orchid) types too.
Yes, 100% - that would look incredible and be very easy to maintain.
You need about 10 good sized houseplants per square foot to have any noticeable effect on oxygen levels in a room ,as for putting them in a bedroom plants give out co2 at night ........
dosen't terracotta get moldy being damp for so long all my pots get moldy
Or use an upside down tall terracotta pot in a terracotta saucer with a layer of stones in it as usual and save yourself 40 quid .....
