    *Further statement from Vertical Horizon:*
"Having previously carved the Grand Canyon, the mighty Colorado River has only flowed into the Pacific once in the last 30 years. This is becoming the global trend with 70% of the World's fresh water being used for farming.
Hydroponics uses less than 5% of the water when compared to traditional soil-based growing and is rapidly becoming adopted by commercial farmers.
By creating the first truly affordable, complete hydroponic system, Vertical Horizon is helping gardeners ensure that they can save money, increase their yields and do their bit for the environment.
Our systems are so compact that they can even be placed indoors by a window for all-year growing.
Together we can turn the horizon vertical and ensure that there is enough water and food for all".
    *My final thoughts:*
If you're not impressed with this growing system and are not interested in growing your own food maybe my words below will change your mind?
This may sound harsh but there is no excuse for not growing our food and the time to do so has never been more critical than now.
    Basically we have 2 choices:
1- We do nothing, continue fannying about on social media, watch the fake news on TV, ignore the intentional destruction of global food production and continue to support the people behind the demolition of our civilization by eating whatever the WEF / Bayer / Gates corporations produce for us in the way of estrogen laced GMO fake 'meat', lab grown nutrient deficient Frankenstein 'food'....... and 'ze bugs'.....and we wait for the next plandemic to make us heroes again for sitting on our rapidly expanding backsides.
    *OR*
2 - We turn off the TV programming, create a garden, set up simple hydroponics systems to grow vegetables and source locally produced meat from independent farms to provide us with a supplemented diet of organic, healthy food for ourselves and our family. Maybe we learn about hunting, fishing, foraging and get some chickens? Maybe we could install some solar panels too?
As we all have free will those 2 choices are ours to make but one will lead to a short life of ruin and the other will be a revolutionary act since it will create a level of independence from controlling systems.
This really is a massive opportunity to 'Dig For Victory' and it is great to see so many people waking up and taking action by simply doing what we should all be doing.....and there is no digging necessary with a vertical hydroponic tower.....
The best time to make a start was a few years ago but the second best time to start is NOW.
My excitement at finding these vertical hydroponics systems for sale at a sensible price cannot be underestimated as this is a huge piece of the self-reliance jigsaw, even for people living in properties with limited or no external space for a traditional garden.
In summary, we can continue to support fake 'Green' policies where the same corporations and individuals always seem to hugely benefit at our expense OR we can create our own *true* Green policy which benefits *US* and puts an end to the nonsense. We cannot do both.

(my other account) That's what it's all about, man.
Anything can be tweaked until it can't be tweaked any more and it was great to hear that the minor changes made to the towers since making the one you sent out to me has made a difference.
I don't get excited about much but this is the best product I've seen in a long time and it absolutely excites me to think how such a small footprint of growing space could inspire people to be less dependent on intensive agriculture - the future definitely is in the hands of individuals willing to put the work into growing their own food.
We need to be growing our own food, producing our own energy and bartering with out neighbors because in the words of that war criminal living fossil Kissinger "If you control the food, you control a nation. If you control the energy, you control a region. If you control the money, you control the world." .....we are seeing that play out in real time.

@Metta Art I don't see why not. velcro strips with sticky backs are available from craft stores. Sorry, just realised that question wasn't for me, lol

@Metta Art replied to this elsewhere. Important to consider pollination if growing flowering crops👍

What other things can you grow in them? Does it have to be leafy greens?

Not bad. I like the soil, dirt. You know. Just thinking. Come time for water charges. I don't not waste. ( I don't know)

I'd love some sort of function /feature so that I could hook it up to my aquarium. Cycling the aquarium water through the farm .

Interesting idea! Could be an easy modification for someone to make. I think that it would be important to consider keeping reservoir level above aquarium level to gravity feed the tank to avoid the aquarium ever getting syphoned off if something went wrong. Nice idea😃

@@verticalhorizon3924 was more thinking in utilizing the already built in pump. You have one in the aquarium, and one in the farm . I'll see if I can get something working .

Why are you so set on needing your own energy and growing your own food etc? I’ve been watching since you was doing ponds in peoples back gardens and metal detecting what has set you on this path? Just to be more self sustaining or are you worried in the direction the world is heading?

(my other account) If we don't become more self reliant we are by default reliant on others and that is not a good situation to be in.
Just look what happened with the power prices, what is happening to the food supply, what is happening with interconnected 'smart' devices - any time we choose the easy option we end up sacrificing freedoms, rights and lives.
By 2016 I'd had more than enough of it so I worked and saved like mad to get the infrastructure in which would allow my family to navigate the next few years and by 2020 everything was in place (although I'm still adding to it). I had to have it in place by 2020 as that was when the various agendas planned out for years became live and started the controlled demolition of small business and society.
It was very unfortunate to see so many people going along with whatever they were told and the lack of independent thought was staggering - to be honest it sill is and although people who are still walking around suffocating themselves in masks or flying the current flag in support of whatever the agenda is at the time will never understand the mindset of an independent thinker I'm more than happy to take their parroted scorn when everything I'm doing is making the task of navigating the destruction quite easy (although it did take years to plan, fund and work on the various projects).
When I was out every night building raised beds from sleepers and hacking through frozen clay to make a terrace for a solar system I was getting all sorts of comments from those around me and I just kept saying 'It wasn't raining when Noah built the ark' and I also said that electric prices would double in the next couple of years so the larger then normal solar system would soon pay for itself.
Fast forward a year or two and all that work was not in vain - the rains have started and what so many people can't see is that they are set to be washed away unless they wake up and see that relying on those who cause the problems to solve the problems is by definition insanity.

@Metta Art That is good for keeping a system topped up but best to use a float valve or similar auto-top up fed from a rain butt to avoid the nutrients getting washed out of the system.
