    I always love to watch what others do with their bases, so, yeah, more please. I like the tech and the cork earth bases, they really have some pop to them.

      Thank you my friend, and me too I love to see what little personal touches people give them, so definitely more of these to come, thanks for watching!

      Thank you my man, good to hear from you! I’ve got some Gondor knights I was thinking of putting on the cobblestone ones but I think they need a less mossy version, something a bit more similar to the Minas Tirith roads. Maybe some rusty old necrons on the industrial ones, but I’m not sure about the other ones yet!

      The industrial bases are really nice 👍
      Plastic disposable plates are a cheap alternative to plasticard. Especially if they are patterned.

    Cork best basing material, wine cork most delightful one!

      I for one abhor cork. So many people make it look so underwhelming.

    I always struggle that single hairs and small dirt pieces are getting onto my minis painted surface. Relieving to see, you sir are doing worse, thanks for that 😁

    • @SwampRatMiniatures
      @SwampRatMiniatures  7 місяців тому

      The cotton buds always leave some little strands behind when cleaning off the dirty down rust/moss so you gotta be careful to get them all off, which I maybe wasn’t here haha

      @DecoyAUT 7 місяців тому

      @@SwampRatMiniaturesyes, everone says use cotton swabs, but no one tells you how much they taint your model with hairs. I just resorted to using one very briefly and switching to a new one. Wasteful but a bit better.

      @@DecoyAUTyeah for sure, I’ve seen some people using those little foamy make up brush things, I think I’ll try those next time as they should leave behind less debris (hopefully!)

    Hi there ! I really like how life-like all of your diorama sets look with the fine detail and all. Do you happen to have an email where i could reach you? I would love to get your expertise on a diorama myself of the fireplace from the haunting (1999) movie. That of which I'm currently working on thanks! 🙏💯🎨

    hanks for this video 🙂
    Good job.
    For the last base, is it possible to have a list of the different paintings ?
    From 9:30 to the end.

      Glad you enjoyed! I’m 99% sure it was a base coat with mournfang brown, then dry brushed layers with skrag brown, XV-88 then tau light ochre, washed with agrax earthshade and athonian camoshade and then dry brushed again with the XV-88 and tau light ochre for a final dusting, let me know if you need anything else!
