So great! I came here to learn a bit about sci-fi paint jobs for a model I’m building for a pinball machine. This reminds me of Metal Slug. I really really love it!!! Off to watch more of your videos!!
Awesome piece! Good choice to go with a small footprint, as that level of detail would have been very labor-intensive to maintain over a large area! My favorite detail is the paper clip pipes - they provide a little texture and also break up areas into smaller spaces. Looks great!
Ahhh thank you! Yeah that’s it, I’ve been having a lot of fun with smaller dioramas recently just because you can make them look a lot more detailed without it taking so much time. Thanks for stopping by!
Great diorama, the gritty, grubby look gives it a real atmosphere. To make it more claustrophobic you could have built a ceiling with a hatchway, this would have brought the whole thing a lot more confined. Thanks for this video, it has given me a few ideas to try and I look forward to seeing your next sci-fi one.
I love the way you think, I thought the exact same thing and even bought a little hatch door specially for it. I decided against it in the end as I thought it might make it a bit too dark, but I might have to give it a go for my next one! Glad to be of service and thank you my friend
Awesome job man! Love all the details with the scattered bullets! You should consider selling these. They’re so well-made. Would love to see more 40k dioramas like this.
Thank you my man really appreciate, this was probably one of my favourite things I’ve made, definitely more 40k/sci fi themed dioramas to come in the future, thanks for watching!
Cheers Bo I’m glad you like it! For sure, I think this has a lot of potential for other builds, I’ll probably be doing another one soon to try some other ideas out too
If you ever expend this diorama, add a set of storage planks, so you can use a library bookplank moving staircase across the both of them, thus explaing how those wall mounted guns and so, can be reached. It's funny how this can easily fit into Fallout style setup. Have you looked up the "royal observer corps monitoring post" here on youtube? What would a Fallout like 40k version use? And do note the Mechanicum has Fallout Protectron like robots, can do some fun there, I bet. They also have something that looks quite a bit like the old puppet show THUNDERBIRDS, it's Mol, drilling machine. And the Space Marine armor, is quite like Starcraft Marine Armor, Iron Man mkI(-B, Power Monger) and Fallout Power Armor. Who knows what you can do there, right? Say, you know of the Snow-Cat and other such polar expedition units of a tractor unit & a trailer unit? Can a Sicaran Battle Tank and a Land-Raider be used for something like that? Anyway, happy building.
Speaking of Fallout - I love how this would fit into Fallout 1 or 2 really well. Like a small shop in one of the settlements. This is neat and I def like small dioramas sometimes. I usually prefer nature, but sci-fi/cyberpunk is really cool.
Stunning piece of work and I am thinking of picking this type of thing as a retirement hobby. Can you tell me how long it took to complete in hours please?
Thanks a lot! It’s definitely a great hobby for someone who has a good chunk of time on their hands, I’m not 100% sure how long this one took as I wasn’t keeping track but I’d estimate some time around 20+ hours for this smaller one. You can put way more or less time into it though depending on what finish/how much detail you’re aiming for, I hope you’ll give it a go!
I love your idea so much the only thing is you made it in miniature scale that means is you made it like the size of your pinky what I want to do is I want to double that size to triple that size for a 12-inch thank you so much for that idea I'm going to try to actually make it for the winter so when I work with my landlord and shovel the snow at least I can actually do like a project like that but you're talking about you're so sorry I have to make it for 12 inch so I'll try to make it for 12 in thank you for your idea because the one I sing with steampunk and now I like this so yeah thanks for the idea I'm going to try to boost it up at 12 in
Looks awesome! Can you let me know where you got those computer panel pieces from please as I am working on a similar project. I could really do with finding those
Hey my man, most of them were from a website called zinge, I’m not sure if they ship outside of the UK but it’s worth checking. I had a look on your channel and love that creature you made with the ping pong ball as a mouth, looks awesome!
Thanks a lot! I can’t for the life of me remember what the maker is called they were the same one that made the greeble sprues I showed, I’ll have a dig around and see if I can find out for you, fingers crossed!
Those are from an Australian company called Zinge Industries. They are very well priced and I have a large list of parts from them I am looking at to detail up Warhammer 40k terrain I have on my queue to work on/build from scratch
You could of add a bit more on your design layout with more curves, twists and diagonal piping. Everything look so square and straight. Your missing alot of everyday items in this diorama, like carpets, rugs, random pips on the floor, a chair, table lamp, stocked canned food etc. Those drawers as well, if you spend time on it to make it functional could of add more random details on top of it. Should always look at real life references to help with your design.
Mate this is one of the coolest things ive ever seen in this hobby. Absolutely genius little scene completely takes you into it. Subscribed
Thank you my man, really appreciate it! I have some other ones like this planned for the future so hopefully you’ll see those sometime soon!
Great walk through and lovely build! I love your delivery style...half-arsed Brit sarcasm but really informative! 🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha glad you enjoyed it my man, appreciate you watching!!
Very realistic looking science lab. Your use of details is stunning. 😊
Thanks my man, much appreciated! This one was super fun to make
fantastic work my friend you even gotta a couple good laughs in as well nice job
Thanks Darth I appreciate you stopping by again!

Exquisite ❤🎉❤🎉 amazing details and wow the design is outstanding 💕😘💕😘
Thank you my friend! I’m working on a similar themed diorama to this, the video should be out in a few days, stick around if you’re interested!
Cracking little diorama ! Very realistic and acurate scene with loads of interesting features. Great job.
Thank you Pebbles, appreciate your kind words!

One of the best dioramaz I've seen. Brilliant... and I hope you continue to do Fallout. That would be a genius series! 👌
Big compliment, that means a lot to me thank you, many more dioramas like this to come in future, thanks for your comment!
I am really digging the technique here. I can see making a bit of terrain like this. Maybe like space hulk, or into the dark terrains.
Cheers Bo I’m glad you like it! For sure, I think this has a lot of potential for other builds, I’ll probably be doing another one soon to try some other ideas out too
Finally a use for my collection of ancient RAM!
Genuinely wish I had more of it after this build, so much potential for making cool sci fi wall panels with it!
Absolutely brilliant. Thumbs up!!!
Thank you!!
Love this bro, as a 40k player/hobbyist for the last 25 years, this is dope! Do more, preferably necromunda style ones 😂
Hell yeah thanks my man, there will be many more in this style to come as this one was super fun to make, stay tuned for more!
Phenomenal work! ⚙️🔩🛠️🛢️
Thank you my friend!

Thanks a lot, I agree with you there. I wasn’t really expecting to enjoy this as much as I did, thanks for watching!
Naw, one 40k cadian Guardsmen would be too unbalanced.
Looks Great 👍
Thank you dude!
That looks sickkkkkk 🔥
Thanks!
Looks very good. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍
Thank you Christian, much appreciated!
Also very useful for CyberPunk, Spaceship Interiors and Zombie Apocalypse RPGs.
Absolutely! Thanks for watching
It’s awesome!
Thank you! Thanks for watching.
Very nice! I'd love to see some Fallout 🙂
Thanks! Stick around there’ll be some fallout stuff coming soon 😁
Great. Love Fallout and this piece had a feel of that. Guy needs a 'fork handles' ladder to get to his equipment.😀
Thank you my friend! Hahaha he definitely does, might have to make him one, thanks for watching!

@@SwampRatMiniatures you are welcome
I love this
Thanks a lot I appreciate it!
Excellent!
Thank you my friend, much appreciated!
How to reach them guns? Just make a pole with a hook standing in the corner.
Love the whole process btw.
Good plan my man, and thanks a lot it was a really fun build actually, thanks for watching!
A METRO/STALKER diorama would be sweeet
Absolutely, I’ll almost definitely be making one in future as I love the aesthetic of those games!

Thank you my friend! I’m 90% sure I got them from a site called Zinge industries, they sell a bunch of interesting little parts like this
Sweet thanks mate
Where did you get those little accessory kits? Great diorama, by the way.
Hey my man, most of them were from a website called zinge, I’m not sure if they ship outside of the UK but it’s worth checking. I had a look on your channel and love that creature you made with the ping pong ball as a mouth, looks awesome!

De rien mon ami!
40k is fantasy in space
Spantasy
I suprised why you wouldnt do a sub assembly. Do you hate yourself?
Why make few parts when many parts do trick?

No bedding? No shitbucket? 😂
He sleeps on the cold hard floor like a real basement dwelller and what do you think he eats? 😏
