Just copped this phone for $1299 from best buy. For that price, I can overlook some of its shortcomings. Coming from a Note10+ to this, man what a difference. This is on a whole new level.

@Daniel Vargo I'm not the OG post, but I own the fold 3 since launch still works like a champ. Inner screen protector started to peel I removed it and a case I had scratched some of the black paint 🎨 off the side of the front display unfortunately but still works 100% no screen protector on either display and I am a heavy user. I also work outside rain or shine it's with me. I treat it like any other phone and still great! I did the trade-in for the ultra 22 recently... but I am sending the s22 back the camera upgrade is not worth it to me. I've used the zfold for signing documents viewing them without needing to use a special viewing mode. Read books, multitasking like crazy.... everything I used my note series phone for except more. I love it I wanted to try to go back to a regular phone but after a year with this simply put that's just not possible. I will also be skipping the zfold 4 as it's not enough of an upgrade to me. Not everything boils down to cameras. Advice if you do not have a fold get the z4 or the 3 if you want to save money and give yourself time to adjust remember several years ago we all needed to adjust to phablets... now we need to adjust to tablets.

Flossy is the only tech reviewer that I trust. I’ve bought several things that he’s reviewed and have yet to be disappointed. Trust is earned not just given, and on all things tech I trust in Floss.
He is normally good, but the fact is, the z fold has 3x the screens as the S21. So battery would never match given current technology. I would like a headphone jack tough. But I do expect headphone dongle and fast charger in any flagship phone. Even if battery and camera does not match up to other flagships.

He made me get the 3 from my 21 ultra, and he had influenced that purchase too. I even wonder where my money comes from to even get my tech 😆. I have to watch his videos carefully, but I still watch!

I was looking at the Fold 3 reviews out of curiosity for the phone and tech, I've an Iphone X and it still works like the first day, I'm really happy with it, but despite all of it, I cannot say I'm not drawn to getting my hands on a Galaxy Z Fold 3 in the future, to try the Android world, and Foldable phones. It honestly looks awesome.
Also great review! Enjoyed the casualness of it a lot, I love this longer reviews, of someone just talking about the phone like a friend would.
At first I was like "An hour long review?! With 10% of a cat in the background. what the heck?", than I saw the amount of views and likes, so I hit play. Than I was like, "This guy sounds like he's about to explode, so much energy". And than I was like, he's making good points. Stuff I didn't think about. Than I saw the entire cat and loved it. And than I found myself watching the entire video about a phone I'm not even thinking of buying. And now I'm subscribed. haha.
I feel you Floss. Not putting a charger, dongle, case, etc... in the box is highly unacceptable. You spending all that money then put these accessories in the box period

Most people already have USB C chargers already. A case has almost always never come with a phone (unless it's a bundle), so I don't expect differently now. The price is for the phone. It isn't cheap to make a phone like this. The price would've been higher if it included all those things
Why is that? Samsung reduced the price by $200, if you don't need a charger pocket them savings and keep that e-waste outta your drawer, if you do need one just buy it.

I just got this phone and wow. I love this phone! It does everything I need it to do and so much more. Also, it's a head turner when you open it up in public. I had an iPhone 12 before this phone and I forgot how useful an always on display is. I only have one minor gripe with this phone: You can't use the S-Pen on the outer display. Other than that, This phone checks all the boxes for me. It's a beast of a phone!

Yo, what's the deal floss...I was hoping you would call me. I had left my number on your feed. Anyway, it was concerning the fold 3. Listen, people have a lot to say about this phone (complaints), I actually went in and played with this phone at best buy. One of the employees had one. I was blown away. That said though, it's even better once you buy the phone and have time to interact with it. I heard all of your complaints about it, and yea, I understand what your saying but honestly, some things I wasn't bothered by. The small screen on the front, I found a setting in keyboard options to expand the keyboard making it wider and taller. Bro, I have had the note series and I've had apple. My last 3 phones I was with Apple. By far....THIS IS THE BEST PHONE I'VE EVER OWNED...NO PHONE COMES CLOSE! GAMING, EDGE LIGHTING, SOCIAL MEDIA, THE ABILITY TO DO OR CHANGE ALMOST EVERYTHING ON THE PHONE IS CRAZY! BEST DECISION IVE EVER MADE FOR A PHONE PERIOD! Just got my phantom green Fold a few days ago and showed one of my buddys. He told me dude, you need to check out Flossy Carter’s YT channel, he reviews phones, acc, etc with no bs. So just watched this one a learned some stuff I didn’t t know this phone could do. Gonna check the vid the acc vid as I need a good case for this bad boy. And yes, the “Floss” factor on this phone is high, I’ve had several people ask about the phone as soon as I unfold it. Keep up the great reviews man.
I have the z fold 2 but I noticed that there’s ever so slight cracks starting to form at the hinge so I was like “better trade this in for the z fold 3 before those cracks really get noticeable while it’s still got value” 😂
Edit: and btw the z fold 2 has water resistance but Samsung didn’t get it rated for any water resistance. My other job is at a car wash, I’d get soaked working there and my z fold 2 has always been in my side pocket. The thing got quite wet and it’s perfectly fine. I don’t want to be held countable for giving this info out LOL, just saying my experiences with the phone.
Second Edit: If you are planning to trade your z fold 2 in rn, Samsung is offering $900 for your z fold 2 if it’s in good condition. Other places like Best Buy is offering only $250 and Sony is offering only $200 or something.

Hey Floss you have to do a quick review of the new Spigen Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 case that holds the S Pen. This thing is awesome and it makes the Fold 3 feel like a regular size phone in your hand. Just got mine today and it's just what I was looking for. I can't believe Samsung didn't make this for there own phone.

Just got this phone last night and I'm loving it. Upgraded from the Fold 1 and before receiving the Fold 3 my Fold 1 still felt and looked premium in my hands but once I seen and held the Fold 3 for the first time in person my Fold 1 seemed outdated
It has its caveats but the GZF3 is my new favorite piece of technology. Great piece of tech for a photographer.
Samsung should put that "GZF3" on the phones back. Sounds cool. 😎

I LOVE my new ZFold 3--waited a full year to get it after watching the videos reviewing the ZFold 2--when people on YT started saying, "Yeah, this is the one; this is the major upgrade"--THAT's when I went for it. So glad I did! And thanks especially for your thoughts about the importance of treating yourself and getting something that makes you happy. That's a BIG deal to me, and I liked that you covered it. Loving mine as well. Day 1 purchase
After having the Z Fold 3 for a week. It is Heavier than the Z Fold 2. The Screen has an upgrade in Resolution regardless to what the Specs say. This Bad Boy is Solid and Heavy. The Entertainment Experience has Upgraded because the crease is 50% less than the Z Fold 2. The side frames feel like it's harder than Iphones Stainless steel and that's a Plus. The S Pen Experience is is the Best because the S Pen feels like a real pen in your hand which translate to a better writing and Drawing Experience. In my Opinion the Z Fold 3 is the GOAT of All Phones unless the user is only concerned with having the best Camera in the phone. This phone takes Amazing Photos. Samsung spoiled with high megapixels but that doesn't make the S21 Ultra photos extremely better. It's just barely better. I Highly recommend buying the Z Fold 3. It gets 5 Stars out of 5 Stars for me.

Thing is its good but the foldable tech is still new and not many are jumping on the bandwagon getting this which I'm skeptical when it comes to long term usage and its durability. Even with a justified expensive price point people still rather go for the iPhone 13. Still never see people flexing this phone where I'm from. Man just folding this up in public definitely the ultimate flex for sure.

@@edster8416 I've been meaning to get S21 Ultra since it came out but held off due to so many 'overheating concerns'. That said. I saw the Fold at the store today. It's definitely cool tech and at this point, calling it a 'gimmick' is not totally incorrect. But the one spec that makes me concerned is, it says it's good for up to 200,000 folds. Granted, you may never get to that point (especially if you plan to trade it in, in 2-3 yrs), but man, that spec alone would make me scared to open it. LOL. Anywho, I think my heart is still set on the Ultra because I want the camera(s). Sadly, I got an S8+, which at this point, has little value, so I hope it gets discounted on Black Friday and I'll finally get it. Then hate myself when a newer model comes out in February. Haha. Never ending cycle.
