I'm a late bloomer when it comes to smartwatches and I finally pulled the trigger and bought my first one and decided on the GW6 classic LTE in silver and man let me tell you this thing is classy. As always love the review Floss.
How is it do far? I owna Active 2 so wondering fi shou;d upgrade, I kwno I can either from Samsung which will give a second band and does have a $150 trade in for my old watch or Tmobile which I see 350 discount if add line to it and see a $100 trade in with my old but nto second band.

@@irv1114 Nah, I mean the Z Flip, the smaller one. The Z Fold is the one that's like a mini tablet. I couldn't deal with the size and heft of the big Fold.
I have the 4th series and still wear daily! It's very useful and I won't ever buy a regular watch again. That voice recorder came in really useful during a legal issue I had to deal with; just turned off the lift-to-wake feature and started the recorder. It's crystal clear too. Liking this one too. It might be time to upgrade.
Got my Watch 6 Classic 43mm and it is just so good. The rotating bezel is just fantastic and looks so premium. I also use my S23 Ultra to wirelessly charge my watch when on the go.
I think I like the 6. I'm on the fence what to get for the phone! IPhone 15 or samsung 23 ultra my 21ultra was terrible still is. Scared of the s line. Fold 5 I don't know. It's a scary thought when you hear from ppl that have them. I don't no!😮
I got the 47mm classic, and I'm with you, as I wish they made another larger version! My wrists are over 8 inches 😂 Very classy looking watch with the thin rotating bezel, making the screen look much larger than it really is. More refined than the bulky watch 5 pro, but you lose out on battery capacity. Had it for 2 weeks now, and the battery is better optimised to my usage now. With all sensing and AOD on, you'll get just over a days worth. Not bad at all. With sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, working out outdoors with tracking on and AOD off (touch to wake on), i get over 2 days which is very surprising. Not as accurate as my Apple watch or polar monitoring strap, but I love the look, design, and feel of it. Lasts longer than the Apple watch though, as it's hard to get a days worth out of it. If you're coming from a watch 5 pro, you won't notice any performance bumps, and you'll lose some battery life. If you've got the 3 or 4 series, I highly recommend it, especially if you get the 47mm version. A major, major GO! 😂
How's the battery life with the AOD on because I got the 4 classic and the battery only lasts about 12-14 hours so on days I go out after work it'll usually die before I get home
I upgraded to the 6 classic to get my rotating bezel back and larger screen. At first I didn't think I'd notice a difference w screen size but it's noticeable over the 5 pro. Only downside to this watch is the smaller battery over the 5 pro. At the end of the day it's still more than enough battery for most of us because we charge at night when we sleep anyway.
Literally just a full switch back to android your reviews have always been clutch! Got me the Z Flip 5 and new Galaxy 6 classic! Doing the switch back from Apple! I’m excited for this
Picked up my 6 classic this weekend... love it, really nice watch. Not a huge upgrade for those with previous gens, but enough to justify trading in and adding some cash. Excellent review as always!
Trade-ins with watches is such a W. There's little reason to hold onto 'em unless you're a baller 'cause for BestBuy anyway you can get the full price you paid for the previous gen watch put into the next one.
I upgraded from the Gear S3 (2016), which is still a GREAT watch and works just fine (I remember Flossy dug that watch too back in the day!). I finally caved to the latest/greatest, so I got the Classic 47mm. It's all good, don't get me wrong, but as Flossy says, "We're talking about watches." My Gear S3 can do most of the same things the Watch 6 can, or at least what I use it for. I kinda feel like I kicked my loyal partner to the curb for something younger and hotter 😕..

I got my Watch4 last year for a steal when I pre-ordered my S22Ultra, and the trade-in offer by Samsung was too good to pass so I used the opportunity to order a Watch6 Classic 47mm. Floss, I installed Gboard on my watch and it works so much better than the stock Samsung keyboard. All the same functionality including pre-made responses, emojis, and the swipe function works really well. Give it a shot!

Loving the Watch 6 Classic 43mm, upgrading from the Mystic Bronze Watch 3. The LTE version is extremely useful for someone that is not allowed to have their phone on the job. I have also found it useful at amusement parks when cell phones are not allowed on rides. I was still able to communicate while my phone was in the locker.
@@trevgcole I'm not really sure if I understand your question. If you have your watch set to LTE only you may have to pick a watch face specifically that shows the battery percentage on the screen. You can also swipe down from the top of the watch face and it should show your battery percentage. The watch face I currently use is called info board. You can select the complications you want displayed on your screen. I hope that helps.
@@trevgcole I work 12 hour shifts and by the end of my shift my battery is usually still greater than 50% depending on the usage. I usually charge it each night unless I want to use it to track my sleep. I don't keep my display on though. I think the battery life is pretty good.
I was THIS close to buying the Watch 6 Classic with a trade-in of the Watch 4 Classic, when I decided to watch your review here first real quick. Hearing you say that it wasn't worth upgrading in terms of practicality helped me reconsider and decide to just save my money and hold onto my Watch 4 for a while longer.

I rocked the big boy in silver at a big meeting today. Everyone had their plain square Apple watches and I had my beautiful Samsung watch. It turned heads. Everyone was asking about it.
Never owned a Samsung phone or watch. I played with them when I'm at best buy learning about them. I never knew that it had reverse charging so you could use your phone to charge your watch, that's amazing.
I got mine a week before the release date. I have a silver face. All I can say, in MY opinion, it is a beautiful watch. I did trade in my Watch 5 Pro for the watch. With other discounts, etc, I only ended up paying like 150 for the 6 Classic. I am glad I did.
Just made the jump from the og galaxy watch and the difference is night and day. The rotating bezel is a must personally, and the larger screen is great! Always happy to see your real reviews 👍🏼

I have never understood why they went away from the Gear S form factor. That is *still* one of the dopest form factors. Plus, the bigger it is, the bigger the battery they could squeeze in. Also, I'm so here for the shoes snoot boop. 😂😂😂

I normally keep my phone in a cargo pocket for quick access but as a result it takes a beating. To try n minimize this, I wear a chest harness but that comes with a different list of challenges. Being able to do my thing on the job with my phone tucked up in the toolbox. Thank you for helping me decide on the right product for me. Much love.

Love the look of the 6. But im gonna have to keep the 5 pro. Once i left the bezel i never really missed it. And i can use my phone day and night tracking my sleep, full notifications, exercising, (auto brightness) etc and get 4 days. On power saving mode I'll get a little over 5 days.

Upgraded from the Active 2 and wow its night and day. I absolutely love the rotating bezel and the software is great. I also got a stainless steel link band and it feels great
I'm sticking with my pro 5 for that battery life. I love it. I pay $10 a month for my wireless service with at&t, but I like at&t for the number sync, so I can use my same number on both my phone & watch.

Just got mine in silver. This is hands down the best Galaxy Watch I've ever had. From a distance, it looks like an expensive timepiece. Just sick as hell and super premium. One UI on the watch is also improving, so the software is excellent.
Just copped the silver and was really torn on that or the black. The silver is flashy and professional looking definitely an eye catcher. Only thing is I dress sporty, sports gear, jeans t shirt etc... so I almost went black but the silver is what made me go look at them so I copped it... I've got 15 days to decide if I want to go back 😅

Love the GW 6 Classic. I was on a flight last year and for some reason my music didn't download on my phone off Spotify. Thankfully I had Spotify on my Watch 5 with all my music downloaded. Connected my Galaxy Buds and was chillin. Watch saved me from boredom that day.
I had a really old LG smart watch (over 10 years old) that I traded in to Samsung for the classic 6 47mm, which gave me $100 off. One app I really liked on my old LG was the night light app. It would turn up the brightness of the watch face and illuminate all white to help see in the dark . it glowed enough to see while walking to the restroom ect. I'm hoping a similar app is available for the SGC 6 classic. Awesome review my friend! upvoted and subscribed!
@David-I0 I do recommend. The S3 is almost outdated, and there's more features the S6 offers . The battery life and operating system is more advanced . It's worth the upgrade, in my opinion

I love my Apple Watch, but my biggest complaint has always been that my watch is no different from everyone else’s. I know it’s the same with the iPhone, but I would love for this level of customization options.

I was real close to buying this watch, since my Watch 4 broke. But I bought the Mobvoi Ticwatch pro 5 instead. People are calling it what the Pixel Watch should've been. Regardless, I love that Samsung listened about the rotating bezel, now if only they'll listen to us about chargers in the box of phones, headphone jacks, and micro SD slots.

What I don't like is when it counts steps I didn't do, like when I'm driving. And also the sleep tracker could be better. Build quality is great 👍
I like the Classic 5 & 6 if I where into Smart watches but I like my Real watches with my Rolex Hulk being my favorite ...Now as for shape Round for me cause it's a real watch look with a nice band.. Obviously my opinion...Just switched from S22 Ultra to Fold 5 and I'm in love with the Foldable phones, now I use mine for business hence liking Android way more than IOS and love the large screen for Spreadsheets and Reports... Got my watch 6 classic delivered to my house 10 days ago. Absolutely love it. Enjoying the blood pressure monitor that's built in (had to hack it to enable it). That being said, it seems to be more accurate than my watch 4 was. (i compared it side by side with a real blood pressure monitor). I like everything else about the watch as well.
How useful is playing music from your watch? If you're running and just have your headphones and Galaxy Watch on you. I still use the Galaxy Classic 1 since 2018/19 I believe and its great. Running, swimming, showering, gym. It's always with me and works still great

Yea, the stainless is about 10-12 grams more than the titanium. And I don't have to charge my battery for almost a week. I love that.

I skipped the 5 cause they didn't have the rotating bezel. The battery on my 4 classic has been dying alot faster than normal lately. Perfect timing for the 6 classic 😂😂.
I rocked the big boy in silver at a big meeting today. Everyone had their plain square Apple watches and I had my beautiful Samsung watch. It turned heads. Everyone was asking about it.
Never owned a Samsung phone or watch. I played with them when I'm at best buy learning about them. I never knew that it had reverse charging so you could use your phone to charge your watch, that's amazing.
You can charge other phones, earbuds , even iphones

An top feature IS the reverse charging. You don't have to carry around the proprietary charger.
I got mine a week before the release date. I have a silver face. All I can say, in MY opinion, it is a beautiful watch. I did trade in my Watch 5 Pro for the watch. With other discounts, etc, I only ended up paying like 150 for the 6 Classic. I am glad I did.

Just made the jump from the og galaxy watch and the difference is night and day. The rotating bezel is a must personally, and the larger screen is great! Always happy to see your real reviews 👍🏼

I have the Watch 5 Pro, and even though I desperately miss a physical rotating bezel, there's no way I'm going to downgrade to shorter battery life.
My thoughts exactly. Rotating bezel on the Watch 4 Classic was kickass, but the battery life on the 5 Pro is harder to let go of.
I was always wondering what do people need a battery that lasts more than 24 hours for?

I have never understood why they went away from the Gear S form factor. That is *still* one of the dopest form factors. Plus, the bigger it is, the bigger the battery they could squeeze in.

Yo Floss, Killin it as always! Thank you for the consistently strong content! On the music aspect, I work a lot of construction projects and am always bumpin tunes. I normally keep my phone in a cargo pocket for quick access but as a result it takes a beating. To try n minimize this, I wear a chest harness but that comes with a different list of challenges. Being able to do my thing on the job with my phone tucked up in the toolbox. Thank you for helping me decide on the right product for me. Much love.

Love the look of the 6. But im gonna have to keep the 5 pro. Once i left the bezel i never really missed it. And i can use my phone day and night tracking my sleep, full notifications, exercising, (auto brightness) etc and get 4 days. On power saving mode I'll get a little over 5 days.

Upgraded from the Active 2 and wow its night and day. I absolutely love the rotating bezel and the software is great. I also got a stainless steel link band and it feels great

I'm sticking with my pro 5 for that battery life. I love it. I pay $10 a month for my wireless service with at&t, but I like at&t for the number sync, so I can use my same number on both my phone & watch.

Just got mine in silver. This is hands down the best Galaxy Watch I've ever had. From a distance, it looks like an expensive timepiece. Just sick as hell and super premium. One UI on the watch is also improving, so the software is excellent.
Just copped the silver and was really torn on that or the black. The silver is flashy and professional looking definitely an eye catcher. Only thing is I dress sporty, sports gear, jeans t shirt etc... so I almost went black but the silver is what made me go look at them so I copped it... I've got 15 days to decide if I want to go back 😅

Love the GW 6 Classic. I was on a flight last year and for some reason my music didn't download on my phone off Spotify. Thankfully I had Spotify on my Watch 5 with all my music downloaded. Connected my Galaxy Buds and was chillin. Watch saved me from boredom that day.
I had a really old LG smart watch (over 10 years old) that I traded in to Samsung for the classic 6 47mm, which gave me $100 off. One app I really liked on my old LG was the night light app. It would turn up the brightness of the watch face and illuminate all white to help see in the dark . it glowed enough to see while walking to the restroom ect. I'm hoping a similar app is available for the SGC 6 classic. Awesome review my friend! upvoted and subscribed!

@David-I0 I do recommend. The S3 is almost outdated, and there's more features the S6 offers . The battery life and operating system is more advanced . It's worth the upgrade, in my opinion

I was real close to buying this watch, since my Watch 4 broke. But I bought the Mobvoi Ticwatch pro 5 instead. People are calling it what the Pixel Watch should've been.
Regardless, I love that Samsung listened about the rotating bezel, now if only they'll listen to us about chargers in the box of phones, headphone jacks, and micro SD slots.

@@lightweaverx4381 I like the battery life the most, it lasts me 3 days. I could start the day off at 30-35% and know I'll make it till the end of the day.
What I don't like is when it counts steps I didn't do, like when I'm driving. And also the sleep tracker could be better.

I like the Classic 5 & 6 if I where into Smart watches but I like my Real watches with my Rolex Hulk being my favorite ...Now as for shape Round for me cause it's a real watch look with a nice band.. Obviously my opinion...Just switched from S22 Ultra to Fold 5 and I'm in love with the Foldable phones, now I use mine for business hence liking Android way more than IOS and love the large screen for Spreadsheets and Reports...

Got my watch 6 classic delivered to my house 10 days ago. Absolutely love it. Enjoying the blood pressure monitor that's built in (had to hack it to enable it). That being said, it seems to be more accurate than my watch 4 was. (i compared it side by side with a real blood pressure monitor). I like everything else about the watch as well.

How useful is playing music from your watch? If you're running and just have your headphones and Galaxy Watch on you. I still use the Galaxy Classic 1 since 2018/19 I believe and its great. Running, swimming, showering, gym. It's always with me and works still great
