i did this run in 1986 in brazil on an n64, maybe one day you’ll be as good as me.
Idk why they didn’t give Axe Armor a proper jump, double jump, and a super jump…..as for spikes and narrow passageways, just make his hurtbox the size of the bat form and make him invincible to spikes
SotN is such a great game, it’s hard to nitpick too much, but this was always one of mine

I know this is an april's fools joke, but is there any way to mod more mobility on the axe armor? if anything just use to deal all damage, and allow mobility without it... probably wouldn't be that big of a challenge or entertaining tho... I just really love this meme 'weapon'
I immediately googled and found a full run using a modded axe armor! I know what I'll be doing for the next 55 minutes!
This just makes me wish for a hack that allows players to play AXE mode. Would be cool, especially since a hack like that is asking for enhancements for Axe Knight
Maybe there's a mod where the axe armor jumps higher?
Maybe Talic can make it work, to have it a bit more higher jump than Alucard to past most obstacles in the castle or maybe a double jump :P

You can still obtain the axearmor in a normal play through. No, no enemy in the game drops it. No, it is not behind a hidden/breakable wall. Depending on how much of the map % you have completed the librarian will drop more items when you (down, up, x) jump in the room beneath him. We all know that the very first time you do this you get an HP up, but if you keep doing it you can get; Dracula Portrait, Axearmor, that one ring that increases enemy drop rates, and one more thing that I can't remember off the top of my head.
You can also get the armor by breaking the spike ball atop the one Bone Pillar in the Chapel
