My schools gym has spetralert advanced alarms and simplex T-bar pull stations. The panels at my school are wired together and they only need to reset one the panels. For example if a BG-12 in the portable Is pulled they can silence the alarms from in the office or gym.
is it possible to wire addressable panels this way? the reason i am asking is because a school in my area had a simplex 4004, but has gotten replaced by several different honeywell and simplex panels over the years, including a 4010 and 7100. the fwr is killing the horns, one died this year from it, but i dont know if its possible to link two addressable panels to have the 4004 (controlling simplex 4903-9217?s and -9219s) hooked up to the 7100, because two Wheelock exceeders were added at some point and i think that they should stay on FWR.
At my college there are different buildings or "halls" that are all connected together and they each have an independent fire system, but they aren't tied together.
So what if you were to wire a double-pole relay to the NAC on each panel, then from that relay you have 2 separate contacts, so you could wire in both other panels to that relay. If you did that for all the panels, would it work, or essentially make it impossible to reset the system?
if the ms2 is a piece of crap, are you going to sell it because my b-day is comming up and I will probably be getting money. Is there a way I can get it?

I have a a feature I made on my panel. I made my own panel and I to Made another one so that I can have One trip the other and vice versa. So I had some issues with re-alarm and my panels would refuse to reset so what I programmed the panels to do Is when one is reset, It resets the other. +1 this comment if you think it is cool and reply

At 5:03 I just realized why the system went off again.. was because you hadn't reset the pull station after u resetted the system.... when it happened again I'm like what the... reminds me of 6th grade had an unexpected fire drill
Out of curiousity, have you seen a system where the original building had a Simplex system and the addition had a Wheelock system with electromechanical horns?
The local mall here has a variety of alarms. Simplex, Wheelock, System Sensor, and Siemens. I bet it has multiple panels, just gotta find the annunciators to guess which ones..
to do this you hook the panels relay that is swithed when the alarm is activated to the pull station terminals on the next panel (dont forget the end line resistor on the relays ;)

OK i've figured out how to do it myself, just get 2 DPDT latching relays (one for NAC, one for silence/lights) and wire them up (ill make a video on how to do that when I get mine) and boom
they are doing the same thing at my communtry college they add it a new libary and and new heath caner center the main fire alarms at my communtry college are gamewell system with wheeluck e70's speaker srubles and they are remodeling 3 budings in the new add it parts and the remdeling parts the system is a gamewell fci e20 searers with spetralert adcanced speker srubles in white and red the new libery and tha part that was all ready remodel they are white

capt421 the most basic way of doing it is wording the ms2 nav to the pull station circuit on the ms4 and reset both panels at the same time
