Is there a bowling shoe for those of us who dont want to slide? Basically looking for something as close as possible to wearing street shoes. I've been bowling in street shoes for the past 30+ years, have a pair that are used solely for bowling, no pun intended. While yes, technically its legal, some houses aren't huge fans of bowling in street shoes. And I've had several people over the years comment to me about this, but after they see that my shoes don't leave streaks or residue on the approach, they don't seem to mind too much. But if I could find actual, legit bowling shoes that don't slide at all, I'd gladly give them a try.
I have a pair of cheap Dexter's that don't slide at all. I actually am trying to get used to not sliding, but every time I get to my last step in my approach with my Dexter's I feel like I'm about to fall since I'm so used to sliding. My Dexter's are like the first ones in the video, but I really don't slide.
